    The campaigns gameplay is good, but the story is extreme propaganda.
    Multiplayer can be fun, but 9/10 of all multiplayer maps literally suck. I don't know who designed these maps, but they are terrible and should never have been made. Yes there are a few good maps like Rust, Shoot House or Hardhat, but thats about it. I can't even describe how bad all the other maps are.

    Second thing! This game is probably one of the worst optimized pc games i have played all my life. It is so badly optimized for pc that its almost impossible to describe it. There are many bugs, errors, and the game crashes VERY OFTEN. And i thought it was my pc to begin with, but its not. I very often get an error code and then it crashes. And i have a very powerfull pc that is pretty clean, so that is not the problem. I own almost every COD game, and they have almost never crashed or given any error codes.

    So Infinity Ward, you should consider getting some new designers for the maps, and some new engineers for the programming...

This game is an insult to all Russian people, because all Russians in this game are depicted as torturers, murderers and barbarians, and war crimes that America commited are assigned to Russia (Highway of death). Levels are so tiny you'll think you are fighting not in real locations, but in Hollywood pavilions for shooting movies, AI is terrible. All good characters in this game fighting for US army are transgenders and "strong independent women".     -LAG AF! You are lucky if you got ping below 60 even with the perfect connection, because...    STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE PIECE OF GAME.     -LAG AF! You are lucky if you got ping below 60 even with the perfect connection, because...

    -Skill-Based-Matchmaking! You are getting connected to the games far away just to get some folks on 'your' level and the game itself will be the awfully tarded judge for that.

    -CAMPING! This game is constructed on every damn level to help campers, it is literally the worst call of duty ever. 3/4 of teams will sit in some corner and listen to the footsteps.

    - HIT REGISTRATION! You can lie down below some obstacles and enemy can shot over it and you still will get hit.

    - POV! Enemy can kill you with his forehead, most of old FPS game suffers from this absurd.

    - NO CONSITENCY! When you adapt to camper playstyle you still got focked by some rechargable skill that has no footsteps at all.

    - ENEMY SPAWNING ON YOUR BACK! From thin air, appearing there just kill you, IW is introducing this anarchy to diminish the good players obviously.

    - EXTREMELY LOW TIME TO KILL & SH!T SERVERS are the multiplication of many things already mentioned above, but it is still worth noting.

    - NO REALISM INVOLVED ON ANY STAGE OF THE GAME. Ak47 headshots are not deadly even witch the chest shot as a followup and furthermore, you can get healed automatically in a very short time, also you can get an item that heals you instantly in combat, so as you can imagine all of this makes completely no sense in battle. Guns with high fire-rate can use all ammo from point-blank range and sometimes the enemy is still standing, yet some other time you will die from RPG hiting a wall 5 meters behind you and things like that. Complete mess.

    - CHEATERS! Devs are doing nothing to fight that plague, and there are cheaters in literally every second match.

    - BUGS AND CRASHES! This software is on a virus level quality. Sometimes the game wants to re-download all 220gb and reinstall it repeatedly over and over, sometimes you will be disconnected when the match is being loaded, sometimes this game will crash so hard you need to restart your entire system.

    SP is not so bad though, but it would be hard to design something worse than the experience you get in the MP    … Expand

    Don’t get me wrong the new engine and the awesome campaign is a nice refresh from futuristic cod. But the multiplayer is what killed the game for me starting with the SBMM that makes it really frustrating and not fun to play up against other player and that also camp. The maps are mixed some I like and don’t like but they are all made to camp.     Pretend the original game is 10 out of 10.
    Poor optimization for old components like GTX 10 and 9 series card -1 (More than 2 of my friends met the problems of sudden dropping frame, not responding blah blah blah, even with 1080). Instant changing of playstyle environment -1

    One of the best game in the series. Well known characters, likeable story and by far the best stealth missions COD has ever seen. Loved every moment of the campaign.
    On top of that they changed nearly everything related to movement, gun control etc. This is what players wanted and turned out really really well.

    You can clearly see they are hacking from the kill cam and activision just doesnt care. Lots of wallhacks and aimbots sometimes. You can get even more FPS in games like Battlefield 5 which has much better graphics and physics compared to this poor looking game.     the game is unplayable. it is not a fabulously crafted graphical masterpiece, it is just so poorly optimised that its so horribly hard to run on even low graphic settings despite my pc being able to run better looking games just fine. not to mention the 200+ gb file size which is utterly abysmal.     A new issue: Singleplayer suddenly got horrible graphical glitches that was all color triangles of that area with no way to be playable at all. So It's truly the worst cod launch.

    This game is just bad. I actually bought it to level up weapons faster for Warzone, but quickly became disillusioned. You thought camping was bad in Warzone, wait til you see the same guy get in the same corner the entire match, knowing you wont be able to see him. Just bad all around.

    Haven't played the multiplayer but I imagine it's not much better, my mark is only for the singleplayer.
    Graphics are somewhat pleasant even on my old mobile gtx1060. Shooting is fun and you take a    Russians bad. Arabs ok. Americans great. British allies. No deep messages, only emotional manipulation and shock-content and zero characted development. Worst 20$ I spent on COD in my life.

    Graphics are somewhat pleasant even on my old mobile gtx1060. Shooting is fun and you take a lot less shots than in previous installments before having to restart checkpoint. Oh right, graphics and Grey Morality™. The only intresting levels are Clean House and Going Dark, just because they reject the traditional COD formula. So, what's the problem with the story? EVERYTHING. I guess black Russians + grey Price + white Americans/Brits + black terrorists + white rebels = grey morality. What about motivation? Screw that, Barkov is evil, just because. I'd rather take ridiculous explanation of No Russian from MW2, instead of one line, basically saying "There was a terrorist attack, so Barkov went nuts". The story just cant be taken seriously. Alright, maybe it says something controversial? Maybe the game makes player commit horrible things, and also make him feel guilty, like Spec Ops: The Line? Nope, how about we just drop WP for no reason, and get a child killed a few times! Really, the game is constantly reassuring you that you're doing the right thing, and vilians are doing wrong things.
    And I didn't even mentioned war crimes, being shifted on Russia. And don't tell me that previous games are the same. In previous Modern Warfare games, Russians actions were explained. It's kinda ironic, that Battlefield 3 has more grey morality than MW19. Same for villians motivation in previous Modern Warfare games. And the game never comes close to depicting horrors of war on Spec Ops: The Line level.
    So, what about Multiplayer? Meh. The problem isn't even gunplay, it's the map design. There's a reason why everyone plays Shipment/Shoot House. Everything else is just garbage. They even managed to broke classic maps. How can you even make Shipment worse? It's such a small and simple map. The pacing in the game is a joke. And balance is too. Every update, some guns get buffed to ridiculous levels, anything that's not mobile isn't even worth running. Gunsmith has potential, but resulted in No Stock, Long Barrel meta. Not to mention they dont even use its potential. How about 9mm conversion for Striker, or RAM-7? 5.56 conversion for SCAR? Nope, here's you hollow point Fennec, that makes bullet velocity horrible even in close quarters. Have I mentioned spawns yet? Or questionable SBMM, where doing good once is guaranteed to put you in a tryhard lobby, while doing bad can put anyone in low skill one?
    Really though, the only thing where effort was put in, were animations and the soundtrack. Aside form advertisement and monetization, of course.    … Expand

    Скажу лишь за кампанию: сюжет отборнейшая клюква, смешная и грустная одновременно (а ведь мы все ждали сюжета в духе первых MW, но увы), геймплей в принципе типичный для колды красивый тир, кое-где с элементами стелса, в принципе ничего нового. Графика стала заметно лучше, здесь прогресс очевиден, звук тоже очень классный стал. В общем, визуал хорош, сюжет уг, геймплей всё тот же.Скажу лишь за кампанию: сюжет отборнейшая клюква, смешная и грустная одновременно (а ведь мы все ждали сюжета в духе первых MW, но увы), геймплей в принципе типичный для колды красивый тир, кое-где с элементами стелса, в принципе ничего нового. Графика стала заметно лучше, здесь прогресс очевиден, звук тоже очень классный стал. В общем, визуал хорош, сюжет уг, геймплей всё тот же.

    Got this game for free, because I bought an RTX card. It took ages to activate for some unknown reasons. Even login to Battle.net wasn't working properly. Once I finally managed to download the ridiculous 200Gb this game takes, I was met with constant crashes. The game also constantly switched to desktop. I still managed to make it work after way too much efforts for what it's worth, but got bored eventually. The raytracing looks very good in this game, but that's probably the most interesting thing about this game.

    I still wanted to finish the campaign eventually, but it won't let me play the single player if I won't update the game through the launcher. The thing is, the launcher broke AGAIN and won't let me update nor install anything new. After wasting another 1 or 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong, the only solution was to delete and reinstall Battle.net and MW. Now I can finally download again the 200Gb and finally finish this mediocre game once the downloading will be done in 2 or 3 hours...

    This is utter ridiculous. If this is what it takes to avoid piracy in 2020, I don't want to be any part of this. You can be sure that I'll never buy anything using the Blizzard launcher.    … Expand

    The game was fun, I was enjoying it a lot. Multiplayer and Warzone both. And then, for no reason, my account was permanently banned. I never cheated, trash talked, or had anything at all sketchy installed on my PC.

    The best part is, Activision will not let you appeal your ban, at all, ever. They ban you for no reason and you can never play your game again (not even the offline    The game was fun, I was enjoying it a lot. Multiplayer and Warzone both. And then, for no reason, my account was permanently banned. I never cheated, trash talked, or had anything at all sketchy installed on my PC.

    Played like 200 hours of this game.

    Graphics and animations are good.
    But the game itself isn't enjoyable.

    Campaign gives 0 feelings and multiplayer model is basically hello 2007 but worse.
    Feels like a cheap free2play shooter with modern shaders.

Lo ho comprato al day one, mi ci sono divertito, i problemi iniziali di bilanciamento sono stati risolti, la varietà di armi è diventata veramente grande, e più o meno è possibile goderselo anche utilizzando armi "poco comuni". Il problema purtroppo estremamente limitante cheAggiorno la mia recensione oramai dopo parecchie ore, e francamente penso di smettere completamente di giocarlo. Lo ho comprato al day one, mi ci sono divertito, i problemi iniziali di bilanciamento sono stati risolti, la varietà di armi è diventata veramente grande, e più o meno è possibile goderselo anche utilizzando armi "poco comuni". Il problema purtroppo estremamente limitante che sto riscontrando nell'ultimo periodo è la presenza enorme di cheaters sulla versione PC. Una partita su due o tre ne contiene uno, ed è semplicemente impossibile giocare. Quittando spesso queste partite si viene inseriti "in media res" in altre, talvolta profondamente sotto di punteggio, con serie di uccisioni nemiche attive, e pronti solo a fare da "bersagli mobili".
    E' assurdo perché il gioco dopo 6 mesi era diventato veramente godibile ( altra frase che francamente disturba ascoltare visto che al day-one si paga il prezzo pieno e non una percentuale ), ma l'accesso troppo semplice ai cheat, e L'ASSOLUTA MANCANZA DI UN SISTEMA ANTI-CHEAT sta rovinando l'esperienza a tutti. Mi dispiace ma avevo riacquistato COD dopo qualche anno di pausa, e non ripeterò l'errore. 10 anni fa giocavo su FPS online con sistemi anti-cheat granitici, non trovarli su un AAA del 2019 lo trovo assurdo.
    Velo pietoso anche sul ridicolo sistema di "battle pass": soldati vestiti nelle maniere più disparate ( che cozzano con la non possibilità di identificare se un nemico sia alleato o nemico oltre una certa distanza, che porta a sprecare colpi su colpi per poi accorgersi che sia un alleato ), armi stile fortnite, veramente pietoso. Speriamo in un futuro battlefield che farà tesoro di tutti questi errori.    … Expand

    Bought this for the Ray Tracing GFX on my rig, amazing gfx audio is good as well, however to me that's a given in this day and age. Cleary these unlocks are just used as filler to make it sound good over 100 tiers of content etc

    Vehicles are pointless people just use them to run people over. Killstreak hardpoint the action is too fast-paced to call them in most of the time. It seems the devs are incapable of learning the failures of the past by not allowing a max number of snipers on each side, giving an option on vehicles.    … Expand

    I didn't really plan on playing this game as the previous games have been so far from the greats (COD2, COD4, MW, MW2). I was really surprised that this one actually feels like if the old great ones were made today. Great singleplayer and multiplayer. I don't care too much for co-op and spec-ops. Warzone was also a great addition to this universe. The singleplayer do have some stupidI didn't really plan on playing this game as the previous games have been so far from the greats (COD2, COD4, MW, MW2).     Campaign: The black sheep of the user reviews, but I chose to believe this comes from people who didn't actually pay attention to the game, it surely is controversial, but saying that the whole point of the game is "Russia bad" is absolute nonsense, hell, the game itself says that in the ending, but I won't spoil. Containing stealth invasion missions at the beggining, turning to open field combat and ending on the highest possible note, it's the highest selling point of this game.

    Multiplayer: The charm I thought was lost long ago in Black Ops II finally returns. Full boots on the ground combat, fully customizable weapons and all classic gamemodes returned. Of course, it's not perfect, the noob-tube became the RPGs and C4's, but I guess it's part of the old MW2 charm.

    Warzone: When another Battle-Royale mode was announced, I thought of how big of a letdown Blackout was, but boy-oh-boy was this good. Custom class integration, the gulag fights, an amazing open map that joins all multiplayer maps, what's not to love?

    Co-op: It's a nice addition, but a far cry from what the MW3 spec-ops was, this is a mere imprint of the shadow of it's former self, probably the low point of the game and what I spent less time playing.

    Overall, if you crave that old nostalgia from the original MW franchise or the old Black Ops days, this game is an absolute must-play.    … Expand

    Pc is the only version without splitscreen multiplayer. Buy on console instead if you have the option as they allow for mouse and keyboard as well

I tried to find out why I was banned only to find that I can't ask why or email why. All that work put into the game only told that We don't want you to play our game.     This game sucks. It was fun for a bit but then they started punishing their players by delaying content and directly putting a political message in the game you have bypass over and over. Agree with the message or not, we play games like this to get away from reality.

    Multiplayer is freezing only when i spawn, still annoying. It is hard to see even on ultra, game is less clear than call of duty 4! Also there is high input lag, but it is better than in call of duties from last x years. Only thing, which amazing on this game is graphics. Multiplayer is okay, while it is more like a mod. You can't chose exact mode to play and there are some of good maps. There are still more negatives than positives...

    Seldom have I seen a worse made game. The gameplay itself is decent, but the regular 30GB patches (which barely change anything in the game), its already enourmous size to begin with (~200GB) and its poor performance make this game look like an alpha of an indi game.
    Charging more than 10 Euros is comparable to an insult.

    This game has so many issues with stability on PC, it crashes every session within 15 minutes. Game size is enormous - almost 200GB - and patches (50GB+) never solve any of these stability issues.

    Нет выбора карты, в этой серии игр избавились от ДЛС, но в замен мы получаем рема стеры карт, мм свежий контент и они не работают при данном темпе игр, но дальше еще лучше выходит вар зон и игра тонет в тонне микро патчей и теперь при каждом входе в игру я захожу в настройки и настаиваю графику ведь она теперь постоянно сбрасывается, а сегодня в столь замечательный день у меня игра выкидывает после окончания матча, нет она не выкидывает в тандемное время, именно когда закончится матч и не важно какой режим и как долго будет он длится, конец матча = вылет на рабочий стол.
    и можно еще миллион и маленькую тележку претензий написать: вхождение в прицел у половины пушек просто мучение, освещение очень часто идут какие-то пересветы и ты просто на контрасте не замечаешь противница, карты поломаны и так далее. Очень жаль, на таком фоне даже блэк опс 4 выглядит уже не так плохо.    … Expand

    Game is buggy, last update (end april) made the game useless if you want to play groundwar. Still no selection of the maps you want to play and it is crowded with hackers, campers and **** Would be ok if I ever came through the lobby.

    I did enjoy the game when I could play it but can only give 0 points when I can't even play it!
    The patches being so big is bad enough but when the patches break the game and make you download it all again is just stupid, and no real apology about it from devs.
    Now it puts me in server queue but when it loads it just gives error and quits to desktop, same for friends.

Second, there is always some update or patch or shader that needs to install.     what people actually wanted in the new MW: MW2 Multiplayer remastered minus exploits like one man army infinite grenade launcher ammo and a solid, dark and gritty story line with great twists that set up amazing set pieces and narratives. What they actually got: glitches, crashes and evil Russians in a criminally short campaign that doesn't even form a cohesive story. Multiplayer is painful thanks to skill based matchmaking and the devs constantly lying their product. They claimed there would be no skill based matchmaking in Warzone, however players on YouTube have shown with their data that there is no doubt SBMM is in everything. Regardless of your opinion on SBMM, nobody should tolerate being sold a false bill of goods. SBMM is inferior to connection based simply by not providing you with the best connection possible. No further analysis needed. Nobody wants to be playing competitively in 2020 with 60/70+ ms ping. Games from 10+ years ago provided a smoother online experience. The final nail in the coffin for this title is the PC cheaters in Warzone. There appears to literally be no anti cheat in the game. Console players are disabling crossplay, defeating the entire purpose of it existing, and nobody can blame them. This MW should have be been a title for the ages but we were met with straight up lies about the game and a sub par experience.

    FYI Activision has a patent for MTX based matchmaking, that is to say, players who spend money in the game store will be rewarded by being placed in matches with players far below their own skill level. Players who do not pay this literal bribe to have "fun" are punished and used as fodder for the players who do spend money.

    In summary the game has no anti cheat, possible MTX based matchmaking, definite SBMM, mediocre at best story, glitches aplenty, and still has the nerve to harass you with buying gimmicky junk from the store with glorified pop-ups from the 90s on a full price AAA title.

    If players tolerate this behavior, they will have no one to blame besides themselves for future titles. We need to stop submitting to this and start voicing our opinions with our wallets by refusing to pay for this junk.

    This game exists for the sole purpose of squeezing as much money out of gullible players who throw money at shiny cosmetics and swindling players with lies about the games mechanics.    … Expand

    The story is absurdly simple, recovering a chemical weapon that blablablabla, the story is segmented into small operations that in maximum difficulty took few attempts to complete, and I must say that at certain times the game is a bit unfair, to the point that in realistic mode, this game feels like an Uncharted, where you shoot, hide, and shoot again until there are no NPCs on screen.

    There are many characters that literally have a line of dialogue, like Yegor or many others.

    Captain Price's charisma gets diluted as he appears on the screen, and it seems that only in the kinematics you can distinguish part of that soul that characterizes him.

    The gameplay has improved a great deal, with weapons now having a recoil that is erratic and more like the vibration of a controller than a 5.56mm rifle. (In my opinion there is no better recoil control than that of the Rainbow Six Siege). The decisions and little things like deciding to be part of the torture of the butcher, make me feel more inside, I just regret that these decisions are a mere circumlocution to offer me the same story with the same shots but with different lines of dialogue.

    Without a doubt the most enjoyable thing for me was:
    The night missions, no doubt, the graphic section and the dynamic lights have been a joy to play.
    The mission in the sniper's nest, the physics of the bullets were very good.
    And finally, the WarZone mode, which offers many possibilities both tactical and strategic, and the game is a real experience when you enjoy it with friends.

    I think I've been very benevolent with the release, I think the problems with the servers are unacceptable, and that the progress is based entirely on the hours of gameplay in "how much you kill and how extravagant", the battle passes are a rip-off, and it's just that you need to play for many hours every day to complete it, and I don't think that's dignified.

    The campaign choked me in many points because in realistic mode the enemies blow you up with two bullets, but still it was very short, excessively short, to say that the continuous story mode in special operations is very generous and that those are almost mini-games, wherewith two well-armed friends, the missions are a joke.

    A migliorare il tutto è l'aggiunta di DLC totalmente gratuiti. Quindi mappe gratis aggiunte periodicamente. Sto facendo questa recensione a distanza di 7 mesi e vi posso confermare che sono pienamente soddisfatto delle mappe implementate. (unica nota negativa è il pass stagionale a mio avviso..ma è comunque opzionale e oltre a dare skin estetiche dà anche dei progetti che apportano modifiche alle armi standard, ma comunque niente di troppo peso).
    Sta di fatto che non provavo così tanto piacere nel giocare un Call of Duty dai tempi di Black ops. Veramente un bel lavoro da parte degli sviluppatori!!!    … Expand

    Its the best game from COD series. Why? Free DLC, no lootboxes, no presitge levels, new mechanic, no zombies, better lvl weapons, warzone etc. But in this game is so many bugs

Including this highway, which was actually bombarded by the US Army. The developers are so entangled in their own lies that you cannot understand the plot of the story in the middle of the game. Why do subdivisions not follow orders? why are the main characters suddenly included in the list of terrorists? why does a CIA officer join terrorists and disobey direct orders of american command? etc etc. When the plot is so twisted, it's clear mark that the whole story is construction that has nothing to do with reality and eventually **** Conclusion: my story of loyal COD customer has ended. User base is TOXIC to say the least, and that's what actually ruins this game. After every round there's a ritual of whining kids accusing each other to CAMP and to be NOOBS.     Sniper rifles are almost useless in every gamemode except in ground war (the one with the big map, idk the English name I'm sorry). They put the Kar-98 (THE KAR-98) as a dmr; why?
    SMGs are basically the meta of the game or assault rifles without the stock. The Holger lmg, if you manage to make it into the g36 has a slow ads time, not as slow as an lms, but slower than the average AR
    Killstreaks are a joke. The uav and counter uav that you can destroy with 2/3 mags of an assault rifle, the air support helicopter or whatever its name is, that can kill you through armored concrete walls at meters from its cannon, the small "rc tank", that everybody uses on hardcore shipment is simply the apex of human monstrosity. People, 9 times out of 10 don't play for the objective, making the game, that is already frustrating, even more frustrating, looking only for kills, and if you try to conquest a flag you'll end up diyng from some random camper with his mp5
    Dropshot, that can basically save you in a very close 1vs1 is the worst, because people abuse it and if you want to play "normally" (because the big brains behind the game said that they wanted a kinda realistic game) you can't.
    Say what you want, but before saying that I'm a noob, my k/d is 1.2; i know it's not the best k)d ever, but is still something.

    Online is entertaining but prepare to have the VAST majority of cosmetics locked behind paywalls. Pretty standard for EA, I expected more from Activision. A waste of $60.

    Non stop crashing to desktop for months with no errors. No PC support from IW. When the PC community finds a workaround to the issue IW implements another 180g patch and it breaks the work around. It's been months of headaches and frustration. Seems to be select CPUs but alot of people with the same concern

    Solid throwback to the days of MW and MW2.

    People as so butthurt over the Russians being bad guys. This game has its issues, but for so many people to rate it so low, its just stupid. This is a SOLID game. It's far better than Blackops7-no-content-experience.
    If you can get over how much you LOVE mother russia, this is an excellent game.
