    IMO The Best Call of Duty, published since MW1. Incredibly implemented campaign, gun feeling, graphic. Absolutely amazing!

    The story, while short, has some really interesting set pieces/levels (the Clean Room mission comes to mind). In 1440P with ray tracing on and all graphics set to max or near max, it looks fantastic, especially the cutscenes, which look almost real, I can basically see individual strands of hair on the faces of Alex and Price, and it's amazing. The cutscenes kinda chug along as you playThe story, while short, has some really interesting set pieces/levels (the Clean Room mission comes to mind). In 1440P with ray tracing on and all graphics set to max or near max, it looks fantastic, especially the cutscenes, which look almost real, I can basically see individual strands of hair on the faces of Alex and Price, and it's amazing. The cutscenes kinda chug along as you play the campaign due to background loading of the upcoming level, but there is an option to view just the cutscenes after you complete the mission, which completely erases the stuttering issue. The game feels and controls great, as all CoD games do, and so far haven't co-op, but multiplayer and the story are both really good so far. Yes, it's another game with Russians as the bad guys, but I thought this had much more nuance. There are good arab people who you look at as allies and friends, there is an arab terrorist force, and there are the Russians. Yes, they're treated as evil, yes, the game takes great inspiration from a real life war crime and in the story makes it as if the Russians had done so. Couple things on this. One, it's a fictional story, who cares if they pinned something that is kinda like what really happened on Russian enemies that don't even exist. Two, communists are evil, and the only good commie is a dead one, so they can keep having Russian villains for forever as far as I'm concerned. Third, everyone down-voting and bombing this cuz "iT's NoT fAiR tO tHe RuSsIaNs", grow the hell up. It's a fictional game, with a completely made up story. If that's enough to trigger you into writing a negative review when you either haven't played or actually enjoy the game, then you're a massive pansy who needs to toughen up and deal with the fact that sometimes people will say or do things you find offensive. I have to imagine you are the same people tweeting #notmypresident, and in which case I must ask, aren't Russians the evil foreign power that helped Trump get elected?? Isn't this something you should want? Bunch of children, and it's pathetic. The game is great, listen to the critic reviews and the user reviews who actually have something to say, not just the Russian spam and the politically correct people who don't even game and are just here to start drama… Expand

    Price told Kyle that they are the bad guys who have to do bad things so nothing happens to the innocent people.

The review bombing is silly in regards to it portraying Russians bad. If you fools would play through the campaign you'd know that barkov and his men are Roque and the Russian gov disavowed them, teaming up with the America /English team to take him down. The Russian aren't the bad guys, there are just a few Russians who happen to have gone Roque. No one was thinking anything political until someone said ' wow these guys are Russians as antagonists in the American game, how stereotypical'. And put the controller down. Not finishing the story.     Ну наконец то на рынке появился нормальный шутан да еще и с неплохим сюжетом (как для шутана). Прошел с удовольствием, жаль что сюжетная компания довольно короткая (впрочем в CoD всегда так).

    I love the return boots on the ground gameplay (the futuristic stuff is why I have not played call of duty regularly since black ops 2)

    In my opinion the graphics are near photo realistic on 1440p
    Story is fun and engrossing if a little bit short
    Gun sounds and weapon customization are epic

    Multiplayer can be kind of cringe (shotgun spam and such) but this isn't so much a problem with the game as much as it is with the call of duty community

    Some people are complaining about the game being anti-russian propaganda. In my opinion these people have either not played the game or did not pay attention to the story-line.

    A few points from the story-line are

    1. It is never implied that the Russian antagonist's actions are sanctioned by the Russian government

    2. In fact in the first mission it is said that the antagonist is using mercenaries for the protection of the poison gas during transport (this implies that he is hiding his actions from the Russian government) from his secret gas factory to the country where the story takes place

    3. the team works to prevent a terror attack on Russian soil (granted they also used this opportunity to get more intel on where to find their target but stopping the attack is listed as a primary motivation)

    4. After the death of the antagonist he is denounced by the Russian government    … Expand

Моей последней частью была Black Ops 2,после чего интерес к серии пропал,а ко всему этому игры становились всё хуже и хуже (моё мнение). Однако после анонса данной игры,на которую я пишу обзор,я решил вернутся к некогда своей любимой франшизе. И как же я был рад,поиграв в это. Эта игра вернула мне те эмоции из детства. Этот классный сюжет,от которого ждёшь лишь продолжения. Этот классный мультиплеер,эволюционировавший не так сильно,но всё равно ощущаемый очень приятно. Господи,спасибо Infinity Ward за эту игру. Но за некоторые технические моменты я снижаю оценку игре. Поставлю вместо 12/10 всего лишь 10/10.

Coz I expected something like Black Ops 4 Battle Royale with pieces of maps MW 1-3. And guys don't listen some Russians idiots which write negative reviews.     Pre-ordered this game. My first thoughts were "well, here goes nothing". Hearing about the controversies -multiple critics crying over the heavy subject of the game (yeah, war ain't no happy place), and white phosphorus killstreak removal - I wanted to see more and more. October 25th came. HELL **** YES - no school, no work to do, time to play this game and see if all of the news are true.Pre-ordered this game. My first thoughts were "well, here goes nothing". Hearing about the controversies -multiple critics crying over the heavy subject of the game (yeah, war ain't no happy place), and white phosphorus killstreak removal - I wanted to see more and more. October 25th came. HELL **** YES - no school, no work to do, time to play this game and see if all of the news are true. First seeing the massive size of that thing, I took one step back. waited for the download to be done, all the shaders and other optimalizations done, I went into the dark with Captain Price, fought alongside Farah, Alex and Hadir in the Urzikstani revolutions, chased Russians all over the world. The point is: the graphics, the sounds, the dialogues - all of that made me feel like I was part of something huge. It was mesmerising. The subject is really heavy that heavy, it wasnt a lie. Not for the faint hearted. And guys, come on! Stop spamming nAtO pRoPaGaNdA, because its simply not true: the campaign shows the horrific truth of wars, the civilian casualities, the relief efforts, and all in all the fate of war orphans and families. The game aknowledges the freedom fighters, as well as the terrorists, the ones who spit on the government and the ones who use their powers for their own good.
    The Multiplayer
    It is full of energy, maps and game modes. Its a good tool to release some steam and to break through the monotonity of the weekdays. You should really try it. :)    … Expand

    This game is amazing! Campaign is just gorgeous with nice story. The spec ops are very challenging and require good cooperation in order to complete. And multiplayer ! It is by far the best fps multiplayer I have ever played and I've been playing call of duty since cod 4. This is the greatest comeback the game history.

    Best additon to the franchise since modern warfare 2. Don't listen to the user reviews just review bombed cause 2019 and everyone has an agenda or is an SJW. With that being said most people I know are playing the game and loving it. Heads up though to enjoy it probably recommend at least a 10xx series GPU

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I haven't played a Call of Duty game since probably Black Ops 2. This game revitalized the genre in my opinion. The single player campaign is amazing. Some of the missions bring the reality of combat to your screen. Claustrophobic and dark building environments, suspenseful moments, and tough shoot/no shoot decisions, all a reality of fighting enemies that have no remorse for innocent lives and have no rules. Some of you will notice some missions have similarities to recent war movies, almost down to the letter. They definitely drew a ton of influence from them.

    A lot of people are upset because it paints the Russian army as being the bad guys. However, they fail to forget that this is a fictional game, with an imaginary story. But most importantly, they fail to mention that in the story, this particular section of the Russian army was in the command of a rogue general, and not characteristic of the entire Russian government commanded army, and their people. Much like there have been games and movies made of rogue sections of the US armed forces, but no one bats an eye when US forces are being naughty. 10 out of 10 to Activision for not cowering down to the politically correct crowds that think everything is offensive. Don't let the Russian bots discourage you from playing this game, as long as you keep the narrative in mind that this is a fictional story where a Russian general and his rogue army do some terrible things.    … Expand

    1) Ужасный мап дизайн.
    2) Отвратительные ТТК, ТТД и АДС.
    3) Система создания классов-параша (верните пик тен!)
    4) Куча кемперов.
    5) Медленная динамика.
    6) Баги.
    7) Лаги на топовой системе 2019 года.
    8) Багующие контракты и невыполнимые задания в этих самых контрактах.
    9) Система укрытий.

    Плюсы:
    1) Графика.
    2) Стрельба.
    3) Звуки.
    4) Спецоперации.
    5) Сюжет-лучший в серии!

    В нём нет русофобии, тупые идиоты как обычно ничего не поняли. Никто из ругающих игру, судя по всему, не слушал диалоги вообще. Фара считала русских-террористами, потому что её с детства угнетал Роман Барков, а он-русский. И после того, как Фара убивает Романа, она говорит Николаю-"Спасибо!" и говорит она это на русском, что ещё раз подтверждает то, что она поняла, что была не права и что не все русские являются безжалостными убийцами. Собственно Барков, а он отличный злодей, у него есть простая и понятная мотивация. Его людей убили террористы из Урзыкстана и он стал видеть в народе этой страны угрозу, поэтому и вторгся на её территорию. В игре помимо Баркова и его людей есть ещё злодеи-группировка Аль-Катала. А также главные герои далеко не такие уж и герои (туфталогия, я знаю, но зато понятная), они не всегда действуют верно и не всех спасают. И после этого вы хотите сказать, что серой морали нет и злодеи в игре лишь русские? Нет? Ну тогда вы молодцы, раз поняли, что были не правы. А если вы всё ещё не изменили своё мнение, то это значит, что вы тупой идиот и вас сможет исправить лишь... Я думаю вы поняли, что вас сможет исправить. Проблема игры заключается не в сюжете (он просто прекрасный, в нём много тяжёлых и эмоциональных сцен, а также есть серая мораль), а в мультиплеере, который в этом году получился откровенным мусором.

    Последние 5 лет данная франшиза меня лишь радовала, но в этом году мультиплеер меня огорчил, играть я в него не собираюсь. Я возвращаюсь в лучшую часть всей серии-Black Ops 4. А новой MW я бы поставил 7 за всё вместе и 10 лишь за сюжет и кооперативные миссии, но так как игра тонет в куче негативных отзывов, я поставлю ей эти самые 10 баллов.    … Expand

    Its alright, its not incredibly by any means, but its a nice slow down and interesting pace. Some of the game modes are not for me, and that's fine, but there are many welcome additions.

    Solid throwback to the days of MW and MW2.

    People as so butthurt over the Russians being bad guys. This game has its issues, but for so many people to rate it so low, its just stupid. This is a SOLID game. It's far better than Blackops7-no-content-experience.
    If you can get over how much you LOVE mother russia, this is an excellent game.

    Mappe ben strutturate e belle esteticamente, armi ben bilanciate e feedback delle sparatorie davvero unico!
    Dopo diversi capitoli sotto tono finalmente si ritorna alla guerra moderna senza jetpack e senza armi futuristiche o "antiche" della prima/seconda guerra mondiale.
    A migliorare il tutto è l'aggiunta di DLC totalmente gratuiti. Quindi mappe gratis aggiunte periodicamente. Sto facendo questa recensione a distanza di 7 mesi e vi posso confermare che sono pienamente soddisfatto delle mappe implementate. (unica nota negativa è il pass stagionale a mio avviso..ma è comunque opzionale e oltre a dare skin estetiche dà anche dei progetti che apportano modifiche alle armi standard, ma comunque niente di troppo peso).
    Sta di fatto che non provavo così tanto piacere nel giocare un Call of Duty dai tempi di Black ops. Veramente un bel lavoro da parte degli sviluppatori!!!    … Expand

    Very realistic game! Russia is portrayed as a cruel enemy of the world just like in real life. Great graphics, awesome gameplay/gunplay. One of the best shooters in a long time.

Russians need to understand that they have done so much bad for other countries and they never take any responsibility.     The campaign for this game is simply fantastic. Beautiful graphics, story, and characters with actual depth made this a fantastic game.

    But there's something different about this latest installment.
    It's been stripped back, simplified and in my subjective experience, almost perfected.

    Regarding the multiplayer specifically, the game demands a more considered, tactical approach to any encounter due to the reduced TTK.

    But instead of it feeling like I'm dying instantly from god-knows-where, the adjustment works in my favour seemingly as I'm putting enemies down first time far more often :)

    CoD used to be a dirty word for me.. but this is this most fun I've had in a multiplayer shooter on PC since BF4.    … Expand
