    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well at first i like the game and the mechanics. The single player campaign is pretty good but 2 missions ruined the whole experience (this tank runaway crap and the runaway crap at the end - TOTAL GARBAGE)

    The multiplayer is quite fun if you like being camped 24/7. If you want to do gold camos you have to do idiotic achievements which are not fun at all. A grind would be better. So overall 1/10 playing experience.    … Expand

    Crashes to desktop every match. Rolled back nvidia driver played for a few hours last night than crash to desktop over and over. For a $70 game it plays worse than any 30$ early access game I have ever played or in this case not played because it crashes too much to do anything. I am sure the console version works fine but I need a keyboard and mouse for cod games. It should be illegal toCrashes to desktop every match.     This game is a complete mess!

    It's constantly crashing for me and my friends. It has one of the worst interfaces ever made. It's full of bugs. It's missing basic features and game modes. The campaign is nothing to write home about. The skill based matchmmaking is absolutely horrible. The controller aim assist is broken. It encourages camping a lot more than previous titles and    This game is a complete mess!

    It's constantly crashing for me and my friends.
    It has one of the worst interfaces ever made.
    It's full of bugs.

    The campaign is nothing to write home about.
    The skill based matchmmaking is absolutely horrible.
    The controller aim assist is broken.

    It encourages camping a lot more than previous titles and it generally feels slower. Some people will like this, others not so much.

    On the positive side, it looks pretty good and some of the MP maps are decent.

    At the moment, it's not worth a buy. If they put 6 to 9 more months of developemnt into it to fix the crashes, hundreds of bugs and terrible user interface, it might jump from a 3 to a 6 for me.
    If they remove SBMM, it might even jump to a 7.

    Where is all the missing stuff we were promised. No hardcore mode, no double xp, constant ctd. The game is a mess I wouldn’t recommend until they fix this broken piece of s@@@!!!!

    I've had 50+ crashes to desktop on an RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5 5600x. It crashes so often I consider the game unplayable. But hey, you've spent 8 hours in-game troubleshooting the thing so good luck getting your money back ese.

    - if you are on mouse and keyboard you will have disadvantage of console players being overpowered by precise auto-aim much stronger than previous call of duties.

    This is the least fun and worst call of duty game ever made. First of all the maps are so incredibly bad, each map has at least 20 windows to camp behind and 40 corners for campers. This is probably the most skilless game i have ever played cause of all the campers and if you combine that with skill based matchmaking you get a horrible game. Footsteps are louder than ever, no red dots on the minimap which also promotes camping even more and combine that with the horrible maps and you get the best attempt at making the worst game i have ever played next to some mobile games. The developers clearly spent all their time and effort on the campaign and nothing else. The only gamemode that can be even slightly fun is ground war, but all of the other gamemodes are filled with prone campers with mines and no girlfriend. The developers never listen to the community and are only focussed on money. This game should have been for how bad and unfinished it actually is. The game is so unfinished because there are only around 10 gamemodes in total with 14 maps and out of those maps you only have 4 maps that are actually decent. There isnt even a hardcore playlist and gunfight, which is my favorite gamemode is also not in the game. There isnt even a combat record so now no one can show off how much they played or how many nukes they have. I have a ps5 and the game has already crashed on me 22 times, how is that even possible? I only have 40 hours on the game and i already came across 25 hackers, is there even an anti cheat? The time to kill is already as fast as the average person can blink, but if you get a headshot you can usually kill someone in 1-2 shots with almost any gun. The only good thing about the game is the graphics, but no one cares about graphics when the game itself is trash. Compared to vanguarbage, this game is somehow even worse.… Expand

    Ill be fast, this game was made for Warzone 2.0, multiplayers experience its trash, full of slows hardscopers in every corner, WORSE than in MW2019, instead of improving they fcked the game.
    I only rate that 3 due campaign

    Maps are terrible, auto aim is an absolute joke and needs to be toned way down, unlock system is mediocre. This is the worst CoD game I've played in a very long time. Do not waste your money.

    The campaign is a buggy mess... Freezes, crashes .. verified game files a thousand times. Latest drivers of everything.. tried all graphics settings.. very sad!!

    Nice when lots of players get permanently banned for using software for their RGB keyboards and mice or even Discord and get a bot massage that their ban can not be appealed.

    While the campaign has good graphics and is fun enough to play, MW2's multiplayer is sadly the most incomplete, unbalanced, frustrating and less fun of the whole saga - and I played every COD since 2007's COD 4: Modern Warfare.
    "Sequel" to what is probably the most innovative and overall better game since the old days, MW2 fails om every level to recreate what made MW 2019 so great, and    While the campaign has good graphics and is fun enough to play, MW2's multiplayer is sadly the most incomplete, unbalanced, frustrating and less fun of the whole saga - and I played every COD since 2007's COD 4: Modern Warfare.
    "Sequel" to what is probably the most innovative and overall better game since the old days, MW2 fails om every level to recreate what made MW 2019 so great, and becomes a rob for those who pay for it the full price.    … Expand

When COD first came out I let my boys play it without hesitation, particularly because of the quotes between fights that made it clear that real war isn't a game, but it is necessary to maintain American Freedom. It gave a small glimpse into the price my brothers paid with their lives during the actual war. As the message changed in the other direction, we stoppedDisabled vet here. Banned in my home. My boys are 26 and in the military, and I've banned this game.. I don't care if they're adults. The only American flags that can be found in this game are burning. As a Constitutional Republic with a Democratic process, we're going to get what we give, and we'll get what we deserve... and this game is a sign of tragic things to come. It's appropriate that one of the devs for this game is "Demonware". At least they're honest. No company involved with this game will ever get a single Red American Cent from me.… Expand

    Graphics downgrade, unplayable without upscaling, every lobby is filled with CoD League players, spawn system is at its worst, crashing every few games. Infinity Ward forgot how to make great CoD games and destroyed the Modern Warfare name. This literally feels like an early access game and they have the audacity to ask 70$ for this. Never going to buy a Call of Duty game ever again.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II offers excellent, perfectly toned-down multiplayer that – unlike the previous games in the series – requires good but not superhuman reflexes. Guns feel better than ever and the extremely dynamic, huge Ground War is a great mode for a Battlefield fan. Modern Warfare II is simply the best online shooter available. What’s more, the single player campaign is outstanding too. Missions in its second half might disappoint those who expect to have their finger on the trigger all the time, but amazing graphics and some really cool assignments make bearing with those gameplay experiments worth it.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is a fine sequel that checks all of the boxes when it comes to a serviceable CoD campaign, good co-op options, and a super shiny competitive multiplayer that plays well enough for most. However, Infinity Ward has played it safe with this CoD installment, leaning into the strengths of Modern Warfare (2019) while making minor improvements, but ultimately failing to push the envelope in any meaningful way.
