    Im so done with this game that i had to make a metacritics account just to warn others that this game is not finished and we (PC players) are still beta testing. I bought it day one and wanted to play with my friends but you could not play in a group larger than 2 at the start becouse the game kept on crashing (we tested it the whole evening). And this morning i started the computer tryed to start the game but there is a error message (something something adapter) ok ive updatedet my gpu same eror, now im starting to get mad check online for solutions (all this while not playing the game i payed 60€ for instead maintaining) direct x could be the problem, i alrdy have the newest. And this was the point i gave up if it were the first error i would be like "well yeah there are so many things that come in to play whatever i check later" but at this point i have spent so much time maintaining the game instead of playing i will ask for a refund becouse the creators of this game did not give me a proper game for my money. BRZ

    EDIT the one point is for when we could play together and and noone of us had a crash and we were able to start the game, becouse then it was good fun.    … Expand

    So buggy! The campaign has a lot of good ideias, but the execution is dreadful. The high points, like the Amsterdam part they showed in the trailer only took like 2 min tops. All the water phases with so many bugs and invisible walls, it was like torture diving and swimming through stuff.

    UI looks like a prototype. Looting is crap. soundbugs in nearly every game. many crashes in the first 2 weeks.. and loots of other bugs.     Game is complete and utter trash.
    It respawns you in front of enemies while they are shooting, it makes you miss shots that you would otherwise hit because the other player "needs to have fun too", if you have a good game as a bad player it puts you in a lobby with sweats for the next 10 matches, if you get the battlepass, the only way to use the points is by restarting your game and    Game is complete and utter trash.

    Infinity Ward & Activision get away with another game that was release half-baked. Framed as a live service game, they fix the bugs that should've been fixed prior to launch later in the game's cycle. They've also reduced their resources to working regularly on new STORE items than any new MAPS or WEAPONS. I thought it was Mario Kart when I saw three anti-tank mines coming out of an armored car in the desert. I miss the past. Ghost seems to have forgotten his name.     The game is just lacking content, took out most of what made 2019 good, for the sake of "realism" but then proceed to add wacky bundles and crazy skins. They focus more on the store than on actual content, and warzone 2 is just a embarrassing downgrade of the original.

When COD first came out I let my boys play it without hesitation, particularly because of the quotes between fights that made it clear that real war isn't a game, but it is necessary to maintain American Freedom. It gave a small glimpse into the price my brothers paid with their lives during the actual war. As the message changed in the other direction, we stoppedDisabled vet here.     Maps are terrible, auto aim is an absolute joke and needs to be toned way down, unlock system is mediocre. This is the worst CoD game I've played in a very long time. Do not waste your money.

    It's one of those games that requires your phone number to play. They are not only selling your information for free, but they are contributing to destroying the game market for their own greedy selves and are hoping you don't take a stand against them.

    the campaign is great and it has a good and exciting story. if only it was longer 6 hours is not enough i expected 10 to 12 hours. the 3 co-op missions are lackluster except maybe the 2nd one
    it seems like they toned down the realism in MP for some reason. my favorite modes, gunfight and gungame are missing, since you have to play with different guns to unlock parts for other guns(which is stupid and annoying) those two modes that you play with random guns could be helpful. I have a lot of connectivity issues on steam including update failed errors and not joining games. Update: the connectivity issues are mostly fixed after the recent update
    the optimization of the game is convincing for now but there are occasional frame drops. the file size of the game is far far better than the 150GB+ MW 2019. I hope they let you delete campaign after finishing and don't force you to download warzone to keep the file size low and i hate battle royale.
    the graphics of the game in single player mode is fascinating but not perfect. the lighting is a disaster comparing to MW 2019. MW 2019 had a natural and realistic lighting but MW II has a green/brown tint and high contrast making it a little cartoonish. even with high texture settings, some textures are terribly low res.
    the maps are meh non of them really stand out nor has it's own identity except maybe the hydroelectric map. that's because they focused too much on warzone and all mp maps are different parts of warzone 2 maps which is a terrible idea. remaking old maps could alleviate the lack of good maps.
    with more updates and making the running animations more smooth, and option for changing lighting and contrast, more optimization and fixing connectivity issues there is a good potential for this game. there is a great first person shooter experience in this game that is buried under many issues but it could turn to a great game with more updates just like MW 2019 did
    Update: the sbmm has made the game frustrating for me I'm a casual player but if i do a little good i have to face pro af players in next few matches. the better idea was to keep sbmm for ranked mode and make quick play/casual mode random just like other games do or at least show your skill level    … Expand

    This is a clear zero. For sure: 1 of 8 games game will crush. Most of the time: 1 of 4 games game will crush. That makes no fun. And it is absolutely overpriced regarding the point that I am a beta tester for a messed up game now. And I am not sure that they are able to fix it

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well at first i like the game and the mechanics. The single player campaign is pretty good but 2 missions ruined the whole experience (this tank runaway crap and the runaway crap at the end - TOTAL GARBAGE)

    The multiplayer is quite fun if you like being camped 24/7. If you want to do gold camos you have to do idiotic achievements which are not fun at all. A grind would be better. So overall 1/10 playing experience.    … Expand

    I was lost half the time, the new mechanics are not fun at all and they come without much instructions (apart from the crafting system). Difficulty is also unexplainable, there were multiple parts when I struggled even in Recruit mode, and I used to play some of the previous CoD's in    I have only played the campaign. Looks amazing but it's not fun to play. Worst call of duty ever.

    Triple AAA games, so many time from game release, and still single player is not playable, to mamy Bugs, game crashes, lighting bugs, after you died you need to restart fame a lot of situation.

    I never played any CoD game before and this was my first one. I knew it's FPS (so I didn't expect Sniper Elite or Ghost Recon) but I was really surprised how silly the game is. Do you recall Virtua Cop ? Car chase moments really remind me of that. In the lighthouse mission there are guards arriving in a car, regardless of where you hide they always walk in your direction - pacman style.I never played any CoD game before and this was my first one.     Quitaron movimientos como el slide cancel, que era en lo único que destacaba mw 2019, y ahora es mas aburrido, y genérico que ningún otro cod. Si "juegas" con mando tienes autoapuntado, me imagino que porque los que juegan con mando son paralíticops, y como no se pueden comprar un ratón y aprender a    Malo no MALO. The mechanics of the game are broken as the attachments hardly work or needed as it is much better some times to go without any attachment at all. This game is punishing if you move.     The maps are bad...I MEAN BAD. i'm not sure there is a single map that is properly designed. If you want every time you move round a corner to die from a sniper....who has his weapon mounted and keep doing this as it spawns you in the same location...then this is the game for you.
    I've played for many hours solo mostly as the crossplay is not even working properly. If you try to play with friend from PS or XBOX... GOODLUCK .. you will be able to play after 20-30 minutes and 10000 tries as every time someone is not connecting or it is stuck.
    I mean they failed to do the basics , really . I ' m so angry with this game , just when i thought Vanguard was the worst game I'm almost there of calling this one the worst in the series.
    The game is half finished , the operators are locked and then unlocked , if you change a weapon you need to reconfigure the attachments.
    FOR F...SHAKE... WHAT IS WRONG WITH GAMING COMPANIES NOWADAYS? IT IS SAD TO SEE ALL THE NEW GAMES GETTING WORST AND WORST AND GETTING MORE EXPENSIVE...
    Honestly stay away from this for a few months , if it is fixed and if they release any new good map... these ones are boring already....

    Normally I play campaign multiple times Mw2019 I played 4 times ,but mw2 story was so boring that I played once.

    Infinity ward does everything to destory this game, they removing everything that community liked. 


    My K/D with mw2 is dropped really bad,and I'm not a bad player ,playing sinds  2005 call of duty 2.


    Im now stopped playing this because its gives to much anger and stress. 


    If I realy bored than I play mw 2019. Its still fun to play.    … Expand

    The first good COD game after BO4 (even though almost opposite of BO4 gameplay wise). I would like to bomb it with 0 for extreme SBMM, crashes and missing player stats but after about 100h played I still have fun (when I am not screwed by SBMM too much) so it would not be fair. If SBMM was nerfed by half, crashes fixed and stuff like player stats brought back it would be 9/10 for me.The first good COD game after BO4 (even though almost opposite of BO4 gameplay wise). The lobbies are SO EXTREMELY sweaty that no one in their right mind would want to play this. Playing CoD casually is a thing of the past.     Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II offers excellent, perfectly toned-down multiplayer that – unlike the previous games in the series – requires good but not superhuman reflexes. Guns feel better than ever and the extremely dynamic, huge Ground War is a great mode for a Battlefield fan. Modern Warfare II is simply the best online shooter available. What’s more, the single player campaign is outstanding too. Missions in its second half might disappoint those who expect to have their finger on the trigger all the time, but amazing graphics and some really cool assignments make bearing with those gameplay experiments worth it.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is a fine sequel that checks all of the boxes when it comes to a serviceable CoD campaign, good co-op options, and a super shiny competitive multiplayer that plays well enough for most. However, Infinity Ward has played it safe with this CoD installment, leaning into the strengths of Modern Warfare (2019) while making minor improvements, but ultimately failing to push the envelope in any meaningful way.
