There are really lots of bugs and errors. This game must in alpha testing. It's hard to talk about gameplay when your game periodically crashes and you face other difficulties due to bugs. Although it is safe to say that the company is garbage.

    Performance and stability
Performance actually really suprised me. Even at beta state it was better then MW2019 and I was getting plenty of fps at high detail settings. What I didnt like, and was amazed this passed any QA this company might have (that is if they even have any) was constant crashing that was present in beta but wasnt alleviated even on release (do mind there was more than a month between beta and release so these could have been sorted out) and wasnt fixed even 4 days after release.

    UI
Yet another issue many people have with which I agree is completely user unfriendly UI in multiplayer. Its a direct copy of most streaming platforms and looks like it was developed for mobile game not a PC/Console which contributes to overall cheap look. Combine it with incredibly large amount of issues that this UI has (either bugging out or design standpoint) make it one of the biggest reasons to hold on to buying this game.

    Other
Some promised stuff that was supposed to be live on release is missing. Basic features that previous MW2019 had are missing. And lowkey nonexistant communication from devs doesnt help current player mood.

So in summary the game in its current state doesnt warrant its full (and huge) price and until all critical issues are fixed this doesnt deserve more than 5/10

On the positive side, it looks pretty good and some of the MP maps are decent.

At the moment, it's not worth a buy. If they put 6 to 9 more months of developemnt into it to fix the crashes, hundreds of bugs and terrible user interface, it might jump from a 3 to a 6 for me.
If they remove SBMM, it might even jump to a 7.

    Other than this, standard CoD.

in un game stra-perso in corso?

Except for maybe two or three misions, the rest are forgetable. There's nothing memorable in it, except for the final mission which is unbelievably bad.
Also adding cratting in this game, it's a big NO for me.

The multiplayer is absolute garbage, the maps are awful, awful all of them, not a single decent map and there's something off about them. They're all generic, with a pretty bad flow and most of them uninspiring. And that's my main issue, the maps are so bad this game cannot be saved unless they start from scratch. MW2019 had only 2 maps that were a bit a bad, but here every map is downright awful. Feels like i'm in some kid's playgrouns instead of actual combat zones or warfare maps.
Also, the MP looks visually worse than MW2019, why is that? Everything looks downgraded, more cartoony and too colorful for my taste. The textures, the foliage, everything has been pretty much downgraded for no reason.
The gameplay mechanics have changed for the worse, now everyone bunny-hops or just camps at the corner of the map. The movements have changed as well, it's clunkier.
The guns feel different, and the recoil has been exaggerated here. Also, why did they replace their real names? Visually they look like plastic, that's another downgrade.
Also, violence has been reduced, there's less gore and dismemberment is no longer there. What were they thinking?
The UI is horrendous, problematic and hard to navigate. Same goes for the gunsmith and the weapon unlock, awful.
The MP feels like it was developed by Treyarch Games and it feels absolutely bad, they make mediocre games and i absolutely avoid them. What's more it plays and feels like a mobile game instead of a PC and console game like the previous MW.
SBMM has been cranked up to the max and there's no chill in this game anymore.
The operator design are something straight out of a comic book and they're all horrible.
Also, they added bots, another big NO.
Coop missions are pretty simple and boring, nothing even close to the masterpiece of MW2019 coop missions.
Ground War and Invasion are OK, but gets old real quick. Especially if there are bots in the match.

I tried to like the game, but i just can't. The maps are too bad for me to handle, at this point i'll be going back to MW2019 real soon. There's no point in playing something i don't enjoy.
That's it, i always trusted IW over any other developer that made COD, but they dropped the ball. I think i'm done for good with this franchise. This is just a sad end.

We're probably talking about one of the worst Call Of Duty game ever created. I cannot believe i waited three years for this garbage.
The only reason i'm giving this a two is because the gun sounds are even better than before, but that's all that there is too it.

Riot shields are no longer cracked upon being shot with rounds. The campaign is uninspired, boring and generic. Too many cinematic sequences and gameplay is too linear. There were no plot twists and any missions that stood out. Graves and Hassan were one dimensional villains. AI is ridiculously overpowered and will insta-kill you from any corner on Hardened or Veteran and armored enemies become repetitive . Soundtrack is forgettable. Too many plot holes that insult the intelligence of its userbases. For instance in one mission you're waiting in an elevator with a member of the Mexican cartel and one of the dialogue options allows you to knock him unconscious, but upon doing that his body completely disappears once the elevators reaches the lower floor and stops. The game never explains why Hassan is working with Al Qatala

The UI in particular is cancer. Navigating through the menu requires unnecessary button presses and prompts and gives off the impression that you're playing a mobile game, not a $70 AAA title.

On another note, this game should have never been titled MWII seeing how much it has pissed on the legacy of its previous games and is commonly confused with the far superior Modern Warfare 2.

My honest take on MWII is it's an incredibly disappointing sequel. Let me go in objective detail as to why below.

    1) The user interface is terrible. This was creatively directed by a literal TV streaming service employee who has zero experience in game design, and it clearly shows. Most of it feels like slopped-together boxes in horizontal rows with a disorganized layout. There's a reason there's a freaking search bar to actually search for what to find. It's simply an arduous process to navigate, have to click half a dozen buttons to get somewhere!

    2) Maps are a massive failure. At least three of them (Museum, Breenburg, and Crown Raceway) have been caught in either plagiarism, or worse, considerable legal trouble. Real-life locations for 'Museum' and 'Breenburg' have reportedly threatened ATVI with lawsuits for depicting their owned areas in a "violent manner." I personally don't have an issue with the latter since it is just a video game and has been done before, but did IW's art director think this through thoroughly? What do you expect was going to happen when a company ignores copyright infringement of another since it's nearly identical to the respective locations? Overall, I feel there's no direction flow to the maps--just throw excrements on a wall and see if it sticks, which maps like Taraq and Border Crossing have hopelessly fallen off!

    3) The attachment and weapon unlock systems should be completely redesigned. This was never an issue in the past 3 Cods--they had it simple and easy to follow. MWII basically forces you to level up other guns so you can unlock other attachments or weapons. It's a very backdoor way of doing it. A lot of the unlocks are very confusing thanks to the terrible UI. One of my friends said you have to hookup a mouse on an Xbox to be able to simply hover over the unlock criteria message HAHA.

The supposed "Gunsmith 2.0" doesn't even have a zoom or turntable inspection UI widget to view your current modded weapon in the menu. I can only view my weapon on a simple left-sided camera atm--which is freaking ridiculous! How can a CoD go backwards in terms of this--why can't I view my hard earned rewards on my weapon in detail? One last thing on attachments, the cons are so apparent of equipping attachments that I'm out here using a naked gun because the base schema is seemingly better than the fully progressed weapon!

    4) Perk system. Since when did CoD completely redesign the perk system in terms of how they're activated and countered? Countering enemy perks is non-existent since it's non-user activated but time-based instead. I feel going into rounds that my character is relearning skills over and over with timed precision, thus making him/her feel like they have a serious case of temporary Alzheimer's and not a trained soldier.

    5) Campaign. I'll go painfully short on this: It has several cool moments, but it's the most disjointed campaign I've played in years. The playable characters were uninspiring as hell. One mission I got to be a mom ordering Ghost around from point to point like a toddler via camera feed—like bro, why do my homie like that? The whole campaign just felt like a brief part 1 due to the coming year 2 campaign DLC's.

    6) Crashes galore. One time I got a crash that reset my MP progression for that launch period (had to re-unlock bunch of weapons). Literally got five hard crashes in one hour. Things like this really demotivate me from playing.

In conclusion, reusing the title of MW2 should be a crime. The marketing team did a fantastic job of convincing people to buy this unfinished title for an extra $10! The only reason I'm giving MWII a 2/10 is the awesome weapon animations and gunplay once again, but those don't conveniently conceal its core flaws.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II offers excellent, perfectly toned-down multiplayer that – unlike the previous games in the series – requires good but not superhuman reflexes. Guns feel better than ever and the extremely dynamic, huge Ground War is a great mode for a Battlefield fan. Modern Warfare II is simply the best online shooter available. What’s more, the single player campaign is outstanding too. Missions in its second half might disappoint those who expect to have their finger on the trigger all the time, but amazing graphics and some really cool assignments make bearing with those gameplay experiments worth it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is a fine sequel that checks all of the boxes when it comes to a serviceable CoD campaign, good co-op options, and a super shiny competitive multiplayer that plays well enough for most. However, Infinity Ward has played it safe with this CoD installment, leaning into the strengths of Modern Warfare (2019) while making minor improvements, but ultimately failing to push the envelope in any meaningful way.
