    All the MW series that came out in the PS3 generation for me are one day better cod's because most that came out PS4 are bad. I didn't particularly suffer any moments with the MW series as my focus was only on the campaign and not the multiplayer

    The final part of MW, the plot is on top, a well-finished MW series. Nothing superfluous, all the characters showed themselves and this arch looked colorful throughout the whole plot.

    Still don't know how Activision managed to create 3 beautiful actions in a row and just went into town after that releasing a bunch of **** like each year. It's not the best among 3 original MW, but it's still good.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Call of duty modern warfare 3. This game is amazing. Epic missions, memorable characters. This is the last part of the game to be done well. But there is one but. Outdated graphics. No, I'm not talking about today's time, but about 2011. For the same Battlefield 3, the graphics were much better, and even now they are amazing. But in call-of-duty the graphics were outdated. That is why you see such low marks here. But I see no reason to give a bad rating from the graphics if the game has an amazing story mode. A lot of epic, such as in a mission in the London Underground where it was necessary to stop enemies on the way on the train and the train smashes a part of the tunnel. Or a mission in Paris where the Elven Tower falls. It was especially sad when Sope Maktavish died of his injuries after the explosion of the building by Makarov. In the first modern warfare, the story mode was pretty boring but not bad. In the second part, the story mode is at the intermediate level and it is also not bad. But the third part delighted me. Conclusion: the best call of duty I've played. Cons: call of duty turned into a conveyor of the same type :( P.S lowered the rating because of the graphics, and so the game is an underestimated masterpiece… Expand

    Я играл в колды со 2 по 11 включительно, кроме гоуст. MW3 однозначно самая сбалансированная и глубокая из всего этого списка. Разделение наград на 3 ветки - лучшее что случалось с мультиплеером колды.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is where the overall hate series began. The game was great, but it lacked some news. When we compare the previous parts of Modern Warfare, we immediately see the difference, but this is no longer the case here, and the third Modern Warfare looks more or less like the previous ones. The graphics haven't improved much. Multiplayer is almost the same, evenCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is where the overall hate series began. The game was great, but it lacked some news. When we compare the previous parts of Modern Warfare, we immediately see the difference, but this is no longer the case here, and the third Modern Warfare looks more or less like the previous ones. The graphics haven't improved much. Multiplayer is almost the same, even worse. The maps are not nearly as memorable as in the second Modern Warfare and the killstreaks here were ... bad for me. They didn't fit me very well. But where the game does not lag behind is the single. The story is great here. It connects the previous parts very well and makes sense. Overall, I think that the developers were able to find a kind of limit when to throw us a proper action and when, on the contrary, quiet stealth, because in the previous part it was the action itself, until the game did not let you breathe. Here it is balanced and you will see both a proper action and slower parts in the form of flashbacks, which, as I mentioned, explain the events of previous parts. The locations are perhaps the worst and do not have the previous parts, so they are not bad at all and overall Modern Warfare 3 is mainly driven by the campaign, which beautifully closes the Modern Warfare trilogy. So if you buy the game only through singles and you played the previous parts, you will be more than satisfied in my opinion. However, if you are not interested in a single at COD and you jump to multiplayer right away, you may be disappointed and you should rather avoid the game and stay with MW2, which is almost identical in MP and especially better. But I didn't play the mulcher much, because if I wanted to, I went back to the already mentioned previous part of Modern Warfare 2, but I enjoyed the story and I think it's more than a good ending. For me, a great game that beautifully closes the trilogy and I recommend it mainly because of the single.… Expand

    Had an awesome time playing this game both in single and multiplayer. The story is awesome and the multiplayer maps were awesome too! it's more call of duty on the ground without people jumping around with ridiculous looking skins! you can't go wrong!

    The game actually nice, the story is very good and multiplayer support, however, the producer forgot to add the LAN system they promised.

    I judge the game as they are, proportional, not like "haters" who hate the game
    anyway, score is 8 except there is LAN support.

Modern Warfare 3 stand a tad better story to Modern Warfare 2, you discover more and more once you progress in the story. The only problem ... the game is very short, I one I finished in 5:30hours. The map design isn't too bad, some maps are bad but other maps are great. In general the maps from MW3 are better than the maps from black ops 2 and ghosts. The downsides are familiar to CoD players: the lag compensation which causes a bad connection, the fps isIt's a solid an fun CoD title with some downsides every CoD has. In Mw3 you just: pick up your controller and play. Not get baseraped, not be able to use 10% of your guns because admins want it, get killed by a chopper 30 times in one round, and so on... I think it deserves a good rating for a game, thatIt's my first CoD, but i thought it was really good at the time i got it. It's still my favorite game for Ps3. I own Bf3 Premium, but it was so boring. In Mw3 you just: pick up your controller and play. I think it deserves a good rating for a game, that was made in half a year. And to everyone who never played it and only plays Bf3: Battlefield 3 DOES NOT have better gunplay. I don't know where you got that. Bf3 has better graphics, but the textures suck. The controls are better and the game is more skilled in mupltiplayer. Not that Bf3 players are bad but me being a newbie on Bf3 servers and getting 5 people knifed instantly. That's just lame.… Expand

    Sure it's like mw2 and mw1, but its still tonnes of fun. I'd recommend buying this game on sale on steam when on sale. Don't get blops 2 because that's complete trash.

    I'll break this review down into three parts, singleplayer, multiplayer, and overview.

    To begin with, the singleplayer was good. I like the storyline, as I liked the MW2 storyline and it basically picks up from there. It's really similar to the MW2 storyline as the missions don't really chance all that much (go around shoot bad guys and follow the waypoints), but you know I don't mind    I'll break this review down into three parts, singleplayer, multiplayer, and overview.

    To begin with, the singleplayer was good. I like the storyline, as I liked the MW2 storyline and it basically picks up from there. It's really similar to the MW2 storyline as the missions don't really chance all that much (go around shoot bad guys and follow the waypoints), but you know I don't mind that style all that much. The characters have personalities and the mission was easy to follow. There were some plot twists that while painful were actually well placed. The singleplayer was just great. Not the mention the Spec Ops missions which are fun, HOWEVER, multiplayer Spec Ops is terrible. I would be playing with a friend on Survival and it was as if we were in two different instances of play. I got eighty kills on one round, while he stood in a corner and didn't get any, while on his screen he got seventy kills and I only got two or something like that. The connection system is broke as hell.

    As for the multiplayer, it had so much potential it's not even funny. The multiplayer brought in the strike package system, where you could either earn assault streaks, support streaks, or specialist streaks. This was truly innovative in my opinion, as compared to previous Call of Dutys you were pretty much stuck with one set of killstreaks. The guns were balanced for the most part with very few exceptions, such as the MP7. The maps were beautiful and just overall well made. The issue with multiplayer, as is with every COD game since COD4, are the freaking hackers. Towards the middle and end of MW3s life, you had a one in five chance of entering into a game with a hacker. It's really quite annoying, and to make matters even worse, Infinity Ward just says "screw you" to us and doesn't fix it. Hackers ruined multiplayer for me.

    All things considered however, I never regretted purchasing this game. I didn't buy a single DLC, because that's just stupid in the first place to pay $60 for stuff that should have already been in the game. This game is still purchasable, as not EVERY lobby contains a hacker and the singleplayer is still worth it. Disregard all of the low ratings for this game as they never gave it a chance. I've played MW3 for about 300 hours and still liked it.    … Expand

The multiplayer is full of hackers, the CoD support is bad, they will make their work better. Next bad is akimbo and overpowered guns, I hate FMG9 akimbo, it's too strong, but other guns is better, graphics is bad, it needs more work on it, maps is good, I like lockdown, because it's map from Czech republic and I live here, best is hardhat and dome for me, but maps like downturn, interchange etc. is really bad. MW3 is good game, but can be better, I hope the MW4 will be better.(sorry for bad english, im not best in this language) -Tukan… Expand

    I do not know why are people hating on this game..Oh wait I do know why are people hating..cuz about 95% who gave negative reviews are little battlefield 3 fanboys..ok lets cut to the chase..the campaign is short...really short but almost nobody played the campaign all to the end...cuz everybody plays the multiplayer and thats the important thing..     Singleplayer was average. The compaign was repetitive and unoriginal, Spec Ops missions were better, but nothing overly special. Survival however, is amazing. And makes up for the weakness of the rest of the singleplayer experience. And then there's multiplayer, which had it's unoriginality, but with that aside, was amazing.     Great game. Interesting story and good multiplayer. Always loved the game from Infinity Ward. I hope that the next part of the Modern Warfare franchise will only get better

    MW1-MW2-MW3, i liked all the games very much. Though MW1 is the best, others are not so bad at all. We hope the next one will be more attractive than this one.

    Positives-The addition of new weapons, althought not very many new weapons. The addition of Survival mode. Survival mode contains new content and a new way to play. Survival mode allows you to play the way you want, choose which weapons to use, and choose how to play.

    Great game. Compare to blackop the graphic are really good. Run smoth on my computer. Best graphics I have seen in my life.
    Nice sound.

    I did not play much the sp, but for the time I played it was good.

    The mp is great, some problems with the netcode but most of it run pretty well.

    Game is a game which good players can shine and stomp entire teams. It is what people ask for when they ask for skill based. Totally worth the money although expansion isn't worth getting since BO:2 comes out.

    Call of Duty 3 is a shooter game about invading Russia like in world war 2. You play as american soldier who fight in historical battles like stalingrad and gettysberg. once you kill enough russians you have to fight vladimir stalin who is boss of russia like in real life. This is very good game, I recomment for history buff or war veteran 10/10

The single player is the usual fast-paced, action packed campaign that you'd expect from call of duty. It is much better than the battlefield 3 single player (I love both games). While it is a great tutorial for the multiplayer, playing it through on veteran is a rewardingThis is a great game and it sure as hell does not deserve a 2.1 user score that it currently has on metacritic. The single player is the usual fast-paced, action packed campaign that you'd expect from call of duty. It is much better than the battlefield 3 single player (I love both games). While it is a great tutorial for the multiplayer, playing it through on veteran is a rewarding challenge in its own right. The special ops mode is similar to that of modern warfare 2, with the exception of the newly added survival mode, in which waves of enemies come at you from land, air, and canine. Special ops can be played online with a friend or with some random online player. Multiplayer is very addictive and fast-paced. It is more run and gun than Battlefield 3, with less strategy and team play, but more "action." You can level up you weapons as well as your soldier of course, which is definitely needed to compete. The biggest disappointment I see with the game is the quantity of cheaters/hackers in the multiplayer. In Battlefield 3, this is not a problem. In MW3, a game is ruined the moment a player with an aim-bot or with the ability to see/shoot through walls enters the game. You can be having a blast playing and then the cheaters/hackers ruin it for everybody. This Really Needs to be addressed in a game update or something. Again, I love both MW3 and BF3.     Multiplayer itself seems to be good, but sadly there is already a whole whack of hackers who have silently modded their game and it simply take the fun out of it for me. That aside, Multiplayer does have another whole set of different gameplay modes- you'll certainly not get bored with it anytime soon.

    The audio was a bit of a disappointment, as they seem to have directly followed the MW2 idea, but have changed voices to the point that it does not feel like a continuation, rather a new version. Melee distance in my opinion is quite inaccurate. Combined with the 'stale' audio, the melee issue is my only other negative note. 8/10 on my scale!    … Expand

    MW3 is a great game, I really enjoy the always fast pasted gameplay CoD has given to us. It runs great on PC, and the graphics are better than I thought it would be. Multiplayer is the best in MW3 the new leveling and killstreak system really makes the game alot more fun! Spec Ops survival mode is awesome, and Campaign is O.K. So overall MW3 is a great game, I highly recommend that you buy it.

    Great single player although it was a little confusing at some points but I enjoyed it. The graphics is not the best but it is for the best since not everyone have awesome gaming computers and the attempt to make the graphics better in black ops was just a joke. I rather play MW3 on best graphics with no lag than play BF3 on lowest graphics just to get rid of the lag. When I play online IGreat single player although it was a little confusing at some points but I enjoyed it. The graphics is not the best but it is for the best since not everyone have awesome gaming computers and the attempt to make the graphics better in black ops was just a joke. I rather play MW3 on best graphics with no lag than play BF3 on lowest graphics just to get rid of the lag. When I play online I rarely have any problems with connections ,maybe once every 20th game with new host, so they improved that a lot however that there is no ranked dedicated servers is bad but as most know... there is a lot of cheaters out there so I bet that there could be xp cheats and stuff on dedicated servers which will make the game ruined as MW2 was with all cheats..… Expand

    the game runs smoothly on a low spec pc. but still has really good graphics. i love this fact about it. the story picks up from the prequel to modern warfare 3 (mw-2). real intense storyline. you will play two new characters.

    A Metascore of 2.1? Of course. BF3 fans are spamming. I've only played the 'Gun game', 'Survival' and 'One in the Chamber' gamemodes locally, and I can already tell that the game is not the same. Of course, some of the weapons and perks are the same, but why fix what's already great? Besides, it's an FPS. They're all the same.

Since MW2 my love for call of duty has gone downhill, but when i was told by many people how good MW3 was, i just had t ogo and get it. and to my complete and utter surprise, i found it was actually quite good. the single player was tight, bug free and apart from the COD 4 story, was wonderful, bringing back some amazing moments.
    as for the multiplayer, well i haven't touched    first off. It is nice to see the ending of this Single Player story. And the multiplayer is just fun. I like fast-paced gameplay, and I was pleasantly surprised when they even announced they were adding free stuff (new gamemode -> DropI do actually like this game.     Campaign was short but still I'm with the side of Call of Duty franchise. Nice story with a nice ending. Multiplayer, have the same graphics but still added features to give the gameplay a twist.

    Thus, I can't recommend buying this unless you (still) like the fast pace, the customizable weaponry and the short matches, of about 10 minutes each. With the very important mention that, essentially, nothing has changed.
