    The game suffers from the same optimization issues that MWR had. It also doesn't feel as big of a step up as the first one did. I think the game is fine without multiplayer and spec ops but when judged as a remaster to an already existing game, it doesn't hold up.

    I also noticed that the difficulty seems to have been artificially increased on all levels, making the game a challenge on all difficulties. I wanted to play through on regular first to stop and smell the roses but it felt more like hardened. I went back to the original MW2 to check and that seemed to be the case.

    Overall it doesn't feel like a big step up from the original MW2 and I hope they fix some of the optimizations issues (but given MWR's track record I don't think that will happen.) If they remaster MW3 (I hope not), they seriously need to use their new engine (used for CoD 2019) because their old one is showing it's age.    … Full Review »

    Pros:
    - Graphics and lighting are bumped up and look really great
    - Very interesting campaign if you never played original one - It's a    Pros:

    - Frame rate drops sometimes on the PC not frequently, but still plays fine
