    If anyone waited for this game to be the "last chance" they held on too long and cant be taken seriously. Expected release from CoD for any objective gamer. Expected meaning it is terrible.

    I have always loved the COD series, and the Infinity Ward versions most of all.
    So I bought the Hardened edition, had to buy a new graphics card, and 3 days later I was really looking foward to finally play the game, but what a disappointment, this is by far they worst COD ever released. The graphics are like CS, frame drops all the time, health is too low (it's like    Don't buy!!!!

    BULL!!! I rented this game at redbox and it was disc 2 WHICH WAS JUST A CONTENT PACK I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO PLAY IT!! this is complete BULL!!! I wasted my money!!!

    Most people talk about graphics and technical things like that for a game, for me, I like to think about Game play. The single player was fun but really short( finished in one session) so no points there as it it did not have that want more feeling like other games.     Disappointment. Call of duty thank you for letting us know that your games will be awful from now on. I had no expectations anyway. Even with no expectations you hate the game. That is how dreadful it is.

    The game is absolutely terrible for the PC. A match takes about 10 mins to load and by that time the game is nearly over. The lag is horrendous and you are hardly able to get a kill. Even high end PCs struggle to run Ghosts at a decent FPS. There are also loads of small annoying things such as FOV sliders and bugs that really p*** me off.     This game is awful and a waste of space and time to download. I have hated cod games and have never played them only when they were free to play on steam. This game and cod black ops 2 have spike lag issues and REALLLY crappy graphics. i can run battefield 3 on ultru 30 fps no problem. but this game with its blurry textures and awful graphics somehow spike lags and makes it impossible toThis game is awful and a waste of space and time to download.     Miserable.

    The most miserable game in the series, and the most miserable PC port in the series.
    The game can barely be run on a decent PC machine, constant stuttering, probably because of the complex fly and fish AI. Pathetic game, not even worth buying for 1$ in a humble bundle.

That's well and good but if they allow higher FOV on PC the screen shots will look too good side by side with console versions and the fanbois won't be happy to shell out for a copy on PS or Xbox and will just blame them for not optimizing it enough.

    Well screw you! My 3570K with 8GB RAM and HD7870 is waaaayyyy more powerful than that and doesn't even break a sweat on highest graphic settings with 100 FOV. Why should I be limited??

    At least BF4, with its less than entertaining single player has a FOV slider all the way to 120 degrees. And kick ass graphics on PC!    … Expand

    What a fail of EPIC proportions. Tried to play this game, got a sudden warning I needed to get more RAM! Not only did I have to buy a new laptop for this, it wasn't fun in the slightest (no new improvements on previous entries in the series, all the same old stale run and shoot gameplay) and the game didn't even end up utilizing the full 8GB I have now. What's the deal with that?

    They are trying to push next gen graphics on a obsolete engine, it will work, but it's unefficient as possible.

    Do not buy this game for PC. This is the buggiest game I've ever played. First I couldn't play due to a graphics card error which I was able to fix. Then it wouldn't unlock any loadouts for me to play the game, which is a known common error that they don't give a about.

CoD Ghosts looks on maximum detail much, much, much worse than these games and is running with 15-35 fps. And there are real bad hangers all the time, I can't really play it that way.

    Missions dragged on, cutscenes stuttered after loading was done, never really told why ghosts are the most elite team ever of all the elite teams in CoD, your grenades are water balloons while enemy grenades are atomic bombs, the dog has a fully modeled groin, story is pretty stupid and impossible to make sense of, ending is dumb, you can't    I feel that CoD should be left to Treyarch.

I cranked everything up on high and the game looked like garbage and ran terribly. I hope this is a reality check to the CoD franchise. This game is trash and they should be embarassed by their game.     Absolute Look at TotalBiscuit's review for more information. I can barely run this while I run BF4 at High 45-60 FPS. The game looks as hell, and IW just does not give a about PC gamers. Do not buy this game.

    Alright, I shelled out 60$ US for this on steam. After a weekend of downloads and troubleshooting, the game refuses to execute due to some unknown error. I give up. Activision, you have lost a very loyal customer.

    This is mainly based on the Multiplayer experience since this is what most people buy the game for. The engine has not been updated since MW1 and I believe that Infinity Ward tried to compensate this with making too many changes, changes to the maps are the biggest let down for me, they have WAY too many long corridors and fields making it nearly impossible to achieve your killstreak.     When the release day came I was like most people all excited to play, but to my utter disappointment the game had so many issues that it was almost impossible to play despite my pc specs being way above anything that a Call Of Duty game could ever require with it's engine.

    The first thing I was greeted by was Blue Screens Of Death as soon as I launched the campaign, multiplayer, squads and extinction modes and I honestly thought there was something wrong with my hardware or drivers, but no it was nothing to do with that as I launched each part of the game again and they launched without a issue.

    However what then greeted me was lag on the menu system, I mean come on how poor does the coding of the game have to be if it is lagging on the menu system so bad, that it takes 10 minutes to change a few graphical options from low to high, and to change a few key bindings.

    I pushed on though and eventually after 30 minutes from initially trying to get in to the game, I was able to get in to my very first game of Call Of Duty Ghosts and oh my what a sight!

    It was so glorious to look at a game that, was released in 2013 and see the same graphical quality of a game that was released in 2002 that I had to sit back and just marvel at the improvements that had been made in 11 years, I mean the details looked like they were made by people in there in there first year of game development school, and I must say here and now I am not a game developer nor do I have the skill, ability or time to develop a game but seeing the likes of the Unreal and Crytek SDK are available I may have to look in to developing a game, since I don't think I could do much worse than this disaster that is called Call Of Duty Ghosts.

    I played my first game though and I stunk really bad, nearly every single bullet I shot at people didn't register. I was left wondering to myself is this another Black Op's 2 where the higher the ping you have the better your experience is, and I thought it cannot be the same we are supposed to be on Dedicated Servers and Infinity Wards net coding is always better than Treyarchs, so I left that game and joined another only to find the same thing happened.

    At this point I played some of the campaign, but thanks to the crashes and the reseting of saves so I had to start the levels all over again each time I completed a level, so I gave up on that and left it alone.

    By this point I was pretty much ready to call it quits on this game, but I though no I have paid good money for this game so lets give it a try.

    I went back on to multiplayer only to be greeted by yet more lag on the menu system, bullets not registering and lag in the multiplayer games themselves, and I thought to myself wtf is going on, why are the servers lagging and then bang "lost connection to host" and I was thrown out of dreamland and in to reality, the game is not using dedicated servers it's using the peer to peer system called IWnet, the lag infested, cheating paradise with no admins to clear the cheaters out.

    I then tried another couple of games to see if it was a mistake or someone was running a hack that allowed them to host games, but no the next couple of days proved we are not on dedicated servers.

    The official call of duty forums for the pc gamers are flooded with reports of cheaters, bugs, requests and all sorts of other things, but the developers seem to not be interested in that or even letting people know they are aware of the issues instead, all you here from them is "xbox this, xbox that"

    At the moment this game is a complete disaster, my pc should be walking all over this game but no it's lagging, stuttering and crashing and with no hope in sight I think this will be the last call of duty game I buy again.

    The game by January will have less players than Black Op's 2 and that had the lowest player count of any call of duty game to date, and Black Op's 2 at this point in it's life had double the pc players that ghosts has now.

    Infinity Ward have not only released a sub par product to the consumers, but they are also not supporting the consumers.

    Infinity Ward stated this game would be the best looking call of duty game to date on the pc, but Modern Warfare 2 looks better. Infinity Ward said the game would use dedicated severs but it's not.

    All I can say is do not contemplate buying this on the pc as it's just unplayable in it's current state!    … Expand

    Game is just total **** the worst CoD I have ever played I mean seriously! The maps are too big, 6 vs 6 on current-gen console! battlefield is much better in every way! I mean how could you see one just ONE that is better in Battlefield! This game is just complete garbage... I have said enough.

The entire single player campaign is completely forgettable as the big moments are just rehashed bits of the previous games. The only 'new' feature is 'the dog". The entire single player campaign is completely forgettable as the big moments are just rehashed bits of the previous games. The PC version has some rather hefty requirements it looks and plays better than the console versions but it just isn't anything special from a technical point of view.

    The multiplayer on the other hand is just the usual stuff we've seen before with some serious 'misses' thrown into the mix. The 'aliens' bit is just a one-time affair, no reason to replay it. The new modes are nonsensical (the "you will now blow up" mode has to be the 'king' here).

    Generally speaking, this franchise just keeps on testing the patience of players with every new release just how many times can this game be re-sold with some slight changes?    … Expand

I've reached out to the community to see if there's a fix, and it seems that this blur is on purpose.     Why do i play games? for fun... but theres no fun here... only frustration. Lag compensation is terrible. You spawn, die, sometimes faster then i you can read this. I was 50 in ranking in "Kill confirmed" mode, spend lot of hours to learn this game but in the end... i didnt found fun in it.

I've cancelled my season pass on steam and am currently demanding my money back as the game is still in Beta stage...........with sound clicks, corrupt textures and game freezes.

    They are trying too dam hard to be like battlefield. i have a GTX Titan and i get under 45 frames on certain levels. When i get under 45 frames in battlefield 4 its when i'm seeing the entire map with explosions going off and high resolution trees falling and destroying buildings. BUT NO, IN COD i get under 45 frames staring at a poorly textured tree!!

This isn't an issue with these maps. They are also easy on the eyes and aren't dull gray like MW3. Next, the Squad Point System. You don't have to wait a million years to get a specific weapon, which is absolutely fantastic. Third, no gun is 'broken'. Nothing clearly OP like the Type-95 or the FMGs. Infinity Ward hit the nail on the head when it comes to weapon balance. Knifing also has a neat animation which prevents you from meleeing multiple people at a time.

    What's 'MEH' about this game? The character customization is really, well, underwhelming. Not a lot of choices or individuality. However, it is a step in the right direction merely not a big one. Guns are also very boring to look at. Not really that big of an issue, but gun models went down after MW2. Next, singleplayer. As usual, COD doesn't focus on campaign, mainly because it's a multiplayer game. However, campaign is decent and enjoyable the first couple runthroughs. Nothing spectacular ther. Lastly, the graphics and innovation. It's nothing new or groundbreaking. It's the same time-tested formula which works year after year. Is it bad? No, but is it good? Not in particular, it's just repetitive. You can't expect such a fast-paced shooter to have BF4 graphics; that would be unrealistic and frankly stupid for such an arcadey shooter.

    What's BAD about this game? Foremostly, graphical glitches. Too many times I have switched weapons to find myself with a huge polygon in my face, completely blocking my vision. This happens relatively often, but it isn't that gamebreaking. Switching weapons or restarting game fixes it. Scopes may sometimes also appear invisible, but again, not a huge problem. Second, and fairly important, lag. Oh good god the lag in and outside of the game. The menus lag, the game lags, everything lags expect for the infinity ward logo on the screen. Hopefully they'll fix it up in a patch, but it will constantly annoy you.

    tl;dr It's not a terribly bad game, although it's nothing new. Some pretty big issues with multiplayer which can easily be patched, but a lot of good things brought to the table. A few more years and maybe COD will finally learn from it's mistakes and evolve into what we have always wanted.    … Expand

    - FOV sets to 65°. No possibility to change that parameter ???
    - graphics are poor and sad.
    - Game play is very slow compare to BO2.
    - Respawn is totally stupid. (Respawn just in front of ennemies ???)

    CoD will always have an audience, but my gaming generation (and the couple of ones that have already come after myself) has matured enough out of these games.

The Extinction game mode is quite simply an attempt to gain players by reskinning the popular Zombies mode from Treyarch games, and it is probably the best part of the game, which is worrying.     The game looks disgusting, the texture of poor quality, lack of physics (the windows in the houses do not fight, pieces of walls are not crumbling when entering or explosive grenades, and so on), some models are obviously deprived of polygons, the effects look faded, and the game slows down no optimization. System requirements are not comparable to the quality of the game.

    BF4 had a beta, in the BETA it was obvious that the game ran poorly. The issues were fixed before release. CoD ghosts, it is obvious that the game runs poorly. This product was released to the public Nov 5th and that is what you will receive if you buy this game.     Coming back to the game, i didnt buy it, i torrented it out, took me 3 days to download this ovorsized over my piss poor braodband, finished the game in 9 hours and i feel the last 3-4 days was a waste.     With a name like 'GHOSTS' I expected there it to be more of a stealth FPS. But over complicated gear selection, buggy gameplay, kills are WAY too easy (2 bullets), boring kill streaks, (dogs are stupid). Overall I enjoyed Black Ops multiplayer a lot more. If you enjoy the thrill of actually staying alive for a decent period of time, driving to avoid grenades, a chance of survival in a gunWith a name like 'GHOSTS' I expected there it to be more of a stealth FPS.     Well. I decided to give Cod one last chance. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was installing all of that 30gb. I'm very curious as to what that 30gb is used for because this game looks like it was designed in the early 90's. It just looks amateurish.     Sure the action is there with cliche moments and more explosions than the all Hollywood actions movie ever made combined, but we have seen it before.

    A step back and could easily be a DLC instead of a independent game.

I even encountered a feeling that the graphics and everything else in the first Modern Warfare better than in ghosts. 2 points only because I once loved this series until it has slipped to the so-called pipeline. Shadow option on off, why can't IW simply give us pc game more leverage for in game option like shadow resolution wtf console port.     The game is above average, the story is good and it is worth playing.But the multiplayer is bad.Although the new perk system and customizing classes are good the spawn system is really horrible. But I think I will be fixed soon. I hope it will.

    Cod instead, gives you 10 maps, and then you have to pay 19$ for 5 more.

    Talking about Cod Ghosts: It looks like a major update to Black Ops 2. Seriously. The plain singleplayer plot is just stupid as hell. South Americans attack USA, because.... because... they became some kind of Nazis who want to establish their superiority? Ok sure... I think the COD developers have run out of enemys (They already used nazis, communists, brasilians, arabs, nazi-communists, europeans, nazi-communist-arabs, etc etc.)

I know that call of duty is optimized for consoles running at 60 fps on Xbox 360 that is no excuse for next gen Battlefield 4 now runs at 60 fps on both next gen consoles and is a bigger game than cod: ghosts. that does not mean it was absolutely terrible the campaign wasa lot of you can agree with me that call of duty is just the same game over and over again and just a cash grab.     This game feels like any other Call of Duty, pray and spray and after many many years of this same game, I'm sick of it. I have moved on and this game was just the end for me. Do not buy this game, it will not even run on my computer but my Xbox runs it fine. This game was just a money grabber.

The Maps are all Terrible! they have absolutely no new interesting game modes (Matter of fact, they've removed many of the funnest game modes) All Assault Rifles are a 2 shot kill and Shotguns are spammable. The Spawns are horrific and the kill streaks are generic and stupid. SupportLet me just start off with say that this game is the worst Call of Duty that has ever been released.     This game is optimized very poorly. I have a 4gb 760, which is what Nvidia recommends for the game, and i can get over 45. And to top it all off, it stutters so much, the game is unplayable, and that's not even with the settings all the way up.
