Nov 19, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a genuine epic-action single-player experience with a campaign that’s not only the longest in the series’ history at 10 hours, but also full of Constant surprises. In addition to its thrilling action, the strong acting and the sometimes truly congenial mission designs are also impressive. Ultimately, Black Ops 6 delivers what we’ve been missing in recent years, complete with intelligent, emotional, and smart storytelling, well-written characters, and truly epic action that could well be a Game of the Year candidate.
-
Nov 4, 2024One of the most enjoyable Call of Duty experiences in years.
-
Dec 10, 2024Somehow Treyarch surprised us, and when we all thought we had seen everything Call of Duty had to offer, they brought us something new and exciting, yet familiar. I hope the other studios in the franchise follow their lead and innovate as much as we've been shown here. Forgive me for being a cliché for a moment, but this is the best Call of Duty in a long time, and I'm excited for what Treyarch does next.
-
Oct 31, 2024Black Ops 6 is a stellar entry to the Call of Duty franchise, and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s coming in future seasons. I’ve had a ton of fun playing multiplayer and zombies with my friends, as well as running through the campaign. If this is how the expectation of quality is set for how the series should continue, then consider me hopeful for the future.
-
Jan 29, 2025Simply put, the best Call of Duty in recent memory.
-
Nov 12, 2024A massive return-to-form and a huge step forward for the annual series, Black Ops 6 is the best that COD has been this generation by quite some way.
-
Nov 13, 2024Black Ops 6 is a Call of Duty unlike any other: smarter, longer, better thought out, offering far more options and playing with all sorts of genres. A successful redemption after the flop that was Modern Warfare III.
-
Nov 6, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the best entry in the series in recent history. With its impactful campaign, tense zombie mode, and highly addictive multiplayer. It's easy for me to see why Call of Duty is the king of multiplayer gaming.
-
Nov 5, 2024When I play COD campaigns, I tend to do a one-shot veteran play through and then call it a day. I’m not keen on replaying the campaign beyond the story itself, and it's Multiplayer and Zombies where I spend most of my time. It's those modes where Black Ops 6 shines the brightest. I’ve had an incredible time playing Black Ops 6 at launch. So much that I could easily have been content with the multiplayer maps and Zombies gameplay offered at launch all the way up until whatever Call of Duty 2025 turns out to be is announced. Yet somehow, I get to sit here and know that there are going to be around 6 seasons of new content heading our way in the coming year. More maps to explore, new weapons to try—and that’s without even considering Warzone integration, which is merely weeks away. I couldn’t be more excited about the future of Black Ops 6.
-
Oct 31, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 stands tall on its reputation while delivering on expectations. World-class gunplay throughout, the incredible campaign, superb multiplayer, and excellent Zombies mode reach the heights you’ve come to anticipate from the Black Ops series. Treyarch, Raven, and all the studios behind it should be proud; this shot will be heard around the world.
-
Oct 30, 2024First of all, its campaign: exceptional and very long-lasting, the developers have succeeded in mixing gruffness and subtlety, and we're not in a race for action at any price. The HQ system is a nice touch, allowing you to learn more about past history and characters, and the storyline is admittedly out of the ordinary. What's more, the work done on the environments is quite insane, and on PS5 we had no texture problems whatsoever. As for Multiplayer and Zombies, there will certainly be some happy and some unhappy players, but as far as we're concerned, there's not much to say except that we loved them! They both have a lot of potential, and the changes like TTK and the new maps are great. It remains to be seen whether the developers will support them in the future.
-
Oct 29, 2024Overall, we got a surprisingly good Call of Duty this year, and it's exactly what the series needed after the last very weak Modern Warfare III installment. It offers a very impressive campaign with some unique missions, but also a nice return of the zombies back to the basics of attacking in waves, and the massive multiplayer part has been brought to life nicely by omnimovement.
-
Oct 29, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a return to form and gives a great blend of action, intrigue, and beautiful chaos. It is exactly what the franchise has been missing and is a wonderful continuation of the Black Ops storyline all while setting the stage for the story to continue.
-
Oct 29, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may lack the innovative gameplay and changeable pace that the Modern Warfare series is known for, but in an era where developers big and small chase novelty and change, it stands out for its commitment to stability and tradition. Ultimately, it delivers a solid entry in the Call of Duty franchise that fans will appreciate.
-
Oct 29, 2024Black Ops 6 is CoD at its most fundamental level: smooth, fast-paced and extremely cool, but definitely not visionary.
-
Jan 15, 2025Black Ops 6 makes up for the disaster that was last year's Call of Duty. Almost everything works here - the game is pretty, the campaign has some surprises, and omnimovement makes multiplayer feel fresh. This installment joins the best CoDs on the new engine (Modern Warfare 2019 and Cold War). But please fix the launcher!
-
Nov 4, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 proposes many good contents for everyone and goes on the safe side, but it does so damn well and with such self-confidence that it mesmerizes.
-
Nov 1, 2024Building on a rock-solid foundation, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 manages to sustain the world's oppressive expectations with disarming ease. Solid gunplay combined with gameplay refreshed with new features and many tweaks aimed at optimizing the user experience give us one of the most entertaining CoDs in recent years. And that's just the beginning.
-
Oct 30, 2024After an excellent campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 signs a multiplayer and Zombie just as successful. These are even the best online modes for a long time, carried by a new movement system that will stick to your skin. Everything, absolutely everything has been the subject of the care of the Treyarch teams, from the gameplay to the maps, through the progression system and of course, the legendary Zombie. It's been a long time since we've seen Call of Duty in such shape, and it's great fun. An episode not to be missed, that's for sure.
-
Nov 4, 2024With a wonderfully diverse campaign, hyperactive multiplayer, and a super replayable Zombies mode, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a brilliant showcase and the best franchise entry in a while.
-
Nov 20, 2024Black Ops 6 is a triumphant return to form that blends nostalgia with innovation. Whether you’re a die-hard Zombies enthusiast, a multiplayer grinder, or someone looking for a thrilling campaign, this game has something for everyone.
-
Nov 7, 2024After a shaky few years for the beloved brand, I am happy to say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 returns this series to a fairly high place in the list of the best FPS games in the industry - the campaign is excellent, the multiplayer is full of action, and even that all the good things are wrapped up in COD HQ that makes the experience very difficult. At the end, almost everything that Black Ops 6 tries to do it does great, and whether you are new to the series or not, it is one of the best games it has ever known.
-
Nov 4, 2024An extremely strong comeback from the series that hit rock bottom with MW3 last year.
-
Nov 4, 2024Outside of several standout missions, however, I wasn’t impressed with the campaign, but I’ve begrudgingly come to accept that campaigns just don’t matter to the wider community at this point. The real value is in the multiplayer and Zombies; in that regard, Black Ops 6 is a strong return to form.
-
Nov 4, 2024I’ve avoided the Call of Duty franchise for years. Long before the gameplay outgrew me, I outgrew the gameplay. I came into BO6 with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Despite some faults, the campaign has more good than bad. Zombies is a fun mode, even if there’s nothing there for me personally. Multiplayer, however, is where the magic happens. The fact that I’m enjoying playing against people half my age who can kill me before I can squint to see them is testament to that. Okay, so I’m clearly exaggerating, but even when I’m getting rocked, there are always tools at my disposal that ensure I’m having a blast. Grenade away!
-
Nov 1, 2024COD: BO6 presented its own answer regarding the direction of the single-player campaign that had continued for several years. While I'm quite satisfied with it, the narrative within feels lacking. It may not be the best Call of Duty, but it has the potential to be the best among its predecessors in the series.
-
Nov 1, 2024The new Call of Duty has hit the mark. The campaign is longer, with varied missions that often bring more freedom and multiple ways to tackle objectives. Unfortunately, the story stumbles somewhat with unnecessary hallucination sequences and other distracting elements. The multiplayer may not have a ton of new features, but it remains a finely-tuned, time-tested classic, this year enhanced by fresh movement mechanics that feel invigorating. Zombie mode also makes a return, ensuring engaging gameplay for long nights. This entry benefited from an extended development cycle—just don’t expect anything beyond what it is: another Call of Duty.
-
Oct 31, 2024The high level of variety and flexibility of the missions makes Black Ops 6 the best Call of Duty campaign in many, many years. Added to that is a strong multiplayer and entertaining zombie action.
-
Oct 30, 2024Strong campaign, solid zombie mode and a multiplayer mode with potential: Black Ops 6 is a strong package overall, although more could have been done.
-
Oct 30, 2024Quotation forthcoming.
-
Oct 30, 2024The Coca-Cola of shooters entertains with a lively new movement system, strong maps in multiplayer and a fun, if bonkers, campaign.
-
Oct 30, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a familiar Call of Duty experience, albeit improved with a unique new setting and incredible gunplay. Fans of Black Ops’ campaigns, multiplayer, and Zombies modes all have something to get excited for in this latest addition to the franchise.
-
Nov 4, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 stands out as one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences this year. It delivers nonstop entertainment with an engaging campaign, the return of the classic Zombies mode, and the always-popular multiplayer. However, it doesn’t break new ground and still feels very much like a traditional CoD title, Treyarch and Raven Software have created a refined and authentic Black Ops experience that’s a must-play for fans of the series.
-
Nov 4, 2024The multiplayer has the potential to be one of the best in a long time. However, some weaknesses massively ruin the gaming experience.
-
Nov 4, 2024Call of Duty's strongest multiplayer offering in years is dragged down by a tedious campaign.
-
Oct 31, 2024With a campaign that takes a swing, the return of secret-packed, round-based Zombies, and multiplayer that makes some genuine improvements over years gone by, Black Ops 6 is a solid package that will please longtime fans and entice more than a few newcomers.
-
Oct 29, 2024Call of Duty Black Ops 6 doesn't reinvent the wheel nor does it rise to the genre's greatest heights.
-
Nov 4, 2024This is just another failed attempt to take the Black Ops saga back to its roots by adding things that nobody asked for. Even with three different ways to play it, you can't get 50 hours of gameplay without getting bored in every way possible. It's just another game in the franchise that misses the opportunity to impress the traditional gamer who is just looking for a decent game to enjoy for a while.

Oct 29, 2024The return to the origins of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 does not fully meet expectations on all levels, but where it does, it proves to be an absolute genius that is hard to put down. With a campaign whose pace falters too often and zombies that are as valid as they are uninspired, the multiplayer ends up saving the day. Not only is there nothing to criticize about it, but it also manages to transport us back to the time when Call of Duty was the absolute king in this segment.[Recommended]

Oct 28, 2024With Black Ops 6, Treyarch and Raven Software have taken almost everything I love about the Call of Duty multiplayer experience and given it a beautiful polish. The maps are excellent, built to please almost everyone's favorite gun styles. The meat and potatoes – moving quick and dishing out firepower – is aces this year; it's fast without feeling too twitchy, and the weapons dispatch your opponents in exactly the way you expect them to. The Omnimove system is fun and flashy, which makes for some great highlights but doesn’t completely take over as the best technique for every situation. I do wish there were more new and innovative modes to explore, but that’s about the only thing I feel draws fire other than the initial lack of goofy skins available. Overall, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 shines because although it plays a lot of things safe, it does the fundamentals of multiplayer combat in a way that feels better than it has in a long time. I am having an absolutely awesome time with it. [Multiplayer review score = 80]

Nov 1, 2024All in all then, I'd best sum up Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 like this: it's like Call Of Duty. A good one, I think. Not a bad one. If you like Call Of Duty, you will like this. If you don't like Call Of Duty, you will not like this. If you haven't played Call Of Duty in a while but did like Call Of Duty in the past, then you will probably like this. Now imagine me, as I step back into the fog with my M4A1 and disappear into a lobby filled with the wet squelches of a man passionately eating a lasagna too close to his mic. [Multiplayer Review]
