    Actually im not fan of indie games but blasphemous really shocked me. Every thing in this is fantastic and its addicting gameplay and magical art style are really sth i can not describe with words. Every thing perfect but we have some problems :
    1. The game is short :((
    2. Its lore uses hard word and vocab and if you want to undrestand it fully you should be an expert in english :D 3. Lack    Actually im not fan of indie games but blasphemous really shocked me.     - good atmosphere
    - engaging story ( inspired from inquisition era)
    - interesting characters
    - good art and design
    - top notch music
    - souls and castlevania inspirations done right
    - tight level design (interconnected areas)
    - challenging combat
    - coherent ennemy and boss design

    Hats off, game of the year material.

    Awesome indie game! Incorporates a lot of good stuff from both Castlevania and Soulsborne games! The artstyle and atmosphere is extremely good, buy it and enjoy it, it is worth the money.

    There are a few reviews saying that Blasphemous is just a generic metroidvania. This is not true at all. Blashophemous is creative, dark, fun, and open. When it follows a formula it does it right, and what is new feels polished and deliberate. Great job game kitchen!

    A metroidvania on dark steroids! MASTER PIECE! If you enjoy Metroidvanias, good writing AND storytelling, you can't go wrong with Blasphemous

    Blasphemous is an absolutely gorgeous game, the art style, characters, world design, and gameplay is amazing. Can definitely see this become one of my all-time favourite game! Beautiful!

    Godawful controls and level design. Refunded after 2 hours with it. Blasphemous indeed.

    Blasphemous is just a generic metroidvania garnished with an overly pretentious presentation that doesn't add too much to the mix. Controls feel unresponsive, exploration is a chore and the upgrade system won't keep you engaged for long, even with a thick coat of deep (and boring) lore that tries to flesh out a world that is fundamentally uninteresting.

    Technically speaking cutscenes    Blasphemous is just a generic metroidvania garnished with an overly pretentious presentation that doesn't add too much to the mix. Controls feel unresponsive, exploration is a chore and the upgrade system won't keep you engaged for long, even with a thick coat of deep (and boring) lore that tries to flesh out a world that is fundamentally uninteresting.

    Technically speaking cutscenes and art direction are top notch, but some environments and regular enemies fall under the "ugly game from the 16 bit era" kind of style, and not in a good nostalgia way.    … Expand

    A gore-laden feast for the most barbaric among us, Blasphemous truly is a punishing game in the best possible way. I just wish it had a more gripping story to go with it.

    Despite being a bit tedious, Blasphemous offers many satisfying moments like being able to find a shortcut or a shrine when you most need it. Some of the quests are really interesting and even if they're not mandatory to finish the game, I would strongly recommend trying to finish as many of them as possible. The way the story is told (or rather discovered), the amazing artwork, and the fast-paced combat are aspects of the game that grabbed me throughout my playthrough. You'll indeed have to do a lot of backtracking if you want to complete as much as the game as possible, but the rewards are worth it.
