    Second game in a series.
Very good voicing, not hard. Story is overall better than in the Legacy, improved dialogue and music.
    Finished in about 7 hrs.

I really enjoyed this game. I felt that the first Blackwell game (Legacy) was so so and a bit broken, but this one is wonderful. The puzzles are logical and just tricky enough. Best of all, the dialogue, voice acting, story and atmosphere are excellent. I'm just sad it's over. Great game.

This is an excellent game. I totally loved it. It was the second game i played in the blackwell series (I got the bundle and played them all). Totally worth it. Great atmosphere and music. Perfectly captures the 40's(?).. Also I really loved the main character's artwork and animations. Story was short and sweet and tied in very well with the first game.

After the first chapter being a little "so and so" due to a pretty annoying character, the second game changes character and set up: we're in the past this time and our main character is the aunt of Rosangela, Lauren, which is a very different character and definitely less annoying than Rosangela, although can be a little uninteresting sometimes.

Graphically it has improved a little but not by too much, however storywise is very good and has some nice interesting twists in the end (which will be continued in the next game).

Controls have been also amplified since you can now control Joey, making some areas only passable for him.

Voice acting is still pretty good (despite noticing some imperfections now and then on technical level) and actually pretty charming too: they fit almost perfectly and don't sound too ****

All in all, if you loved the first, get this as well, as it's an important piece of story for the next game.
Don't if you didn't like the first.

Dear adventure game lovers, this is where things really started to get interesting! The music in this episode really starts picking up (and never leaves you anymore in the series) and the funny, warming and at times also sad moments give meaning to what is otherwise a convoluted and empty action packed games industry. Grab a copy on one of the sales along with the other entries in the series- it's definitely worth it! Expand

I enjoyed this one, and it's superior to the first game. Some stronger character writing is going on and the interface is much improved (although part of me misses the detailed character face models).

Storylines were more moving this time around overall. Kind of curious about the Developer Commentary although not in a rush to dive right in straight after finishing the game.

This is a great adventure game.
Beware, play all of te series or you will loose much of the story and fund.
Fair puzzles, excellent story, and, ih, the music and ambient on this one is amazingly good. I enjoyed this one more than the first one. The story is sad, but hey, it's a game about life and death. If you are curious enough, you will find that the back-story of one of the NPC,

If you can buy the pack, do it.
These are the type of games, you can play relaxed and really enjoy the story, and,
specially, the music on this one.

An excellent successor to Blackwell Legacy. You really do need to play the first game to follow along here, so anyone considering giving it a go, definitely pick up Legacy first.

Unbound was developed on a smaller budget than Legacy, and some of those lower budget aspects do poke through the edges, mainly in the graphics department character portraits are absent, the character sprites are of uneven quality, and a few backgrounds seem underdetailed. However, this is made up for by stellar writing and voice acting, a superb soundtrack, and a compelling story. The main character, Lauren, is especially well realized, and her witty, darkly humorous interactions with Joey add a great deal of depth to the game. The story is short, but well crafted. Unbound is a melancholic, witty game definitely worth a play for any fans of the Blackwell series. My personal favorite of the bunch.
