    Refreshing, good storyline, funny dialogues. A must have for Baldur's Gate fans.

    96/100, a must have for enthusiasts of classic isometric RPGs with real-time-with-pausable combat. Mechanics and audiovisuals are Icewind Dale vibes, with an easy to use interface for those familiar with the Pillars of Eternity series.

    Highly recommended.

    BG really captures the spirit of the original Baldurs Gate and offers some new interesting twists, such as the greed mechanic. It is an indie title so do not expect AA/AAA quality here. The writing is solid but not exceptional, however it does convey the story nicely. The combat in the game is not challenging so select "Hard" if you have any experience in this    Highly recommended.

    I love the music, and the story is pretty good, the classes look cool, and the text is funny, although sometimes I'd like to know more about the lore. I'm curious how much the choices matter in the storyline. You can feel it's a love project.

    Great Baldur's Gate vibes. Interesting story and new mechanics not present in Baldur's Gate (Greed, Drying). Strongly recommended if you're a fan of classic computer role-playing games! It's a breath of fresh air among "modern" games and definitely the best RPG of the year for me. Should also say that the devs are remarkably responsive and try their best to improve the already great game.

    If you liked games like Icewind dale from Black Isle, there's a good chance you'll like Black Geyser too. Game is constantly getting improved and features added. Motivating story and good pacing with concise dialogues and 60+ side quests, engaging battles on highest difficulty towards the end of the game where realtime-with-pause combat finally has that rts gameplay from the IE games ofIf you liked games like Icewind dale from Black Isle, there's a good chance you'll like Black Geyser too. Game is constantly getting improved and features added. You can choose from up to 9 companions for your party of 5 who cover all bases and explore 2 cities and a couple small villages plus over 20 areas.… Expand

    I really love it!!

    Every Person that loved the Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate games and appreciates that it really gives off the same vibe will like that game a lot.

    It is a tad simpler and the companions lack a bit of personality from time to time. But if you just want a nice d&d like experience and love the oldschool charm, youll feel right at home.

    Not a very successful return to the grand old days of isometric RPGs. Black Geyser is full of nostalgia and love for legendary games of the past, but it wouldn’t be genuine to call it a finished product. There are too many bugs, oversights, missing content and systems.
