Behind the Frame is one of those games that you can imagine playing by the fire on a rainy evening. For the general public, this highly accessible interactive cartoon is proving to be as sweet as it is relaxing, carried by lovely visuals and absolutely exquisite music. A touching tale to which the short duration as well as the puzzles and writing on the surface are nevertheless lacking.

An beautiful experience, but far too short. We don't have anything against short games, but the length of this one is frustrating. There was much more to tell.

Behind The Frame: The Perfect Scenery offers a beautiful blend of Ghibli-inspired visuals and light puzzling that uses a unique storytelling technique to deliver a touching tale of love. While the gameplay is a bit basic, this one is perfect for a rainy afternoon inside or a way to wind down after a long day at work.

For a game about painting, Behind the Frame surprisingly lacks creativity. [11/2021, p.69]

The best thing about it is that the art style reminds me of Miyazaki movies. It is a pretty pleasant way to spend a saturday morning.
