    Si eres xbox fan, este es un juego que tienes que probar
    Estamos ante un título totalmente divertido, con un diseño de niveles muy bueno y tmb tiene su parte adictiva, si no fuera por mi lesión en la mano definitivamente lo hubiera acabado en menos días.
    El primer acto puede parecer que tiene niveles repetitivos y así continúa un poco al segundo acto, pero más adelante te darás cuenta de    Si eres xbox fan, este es un juego que tienes que probar
    Estamos ante un título totalmente divertido, con un diseño de niveles muy bueno y tmb tiene su parte adictiva, si no fuera por mi lesión en la mano definitivamente lo hubiera acabado en menos días.
    El primer acto puede parecer que tiene niveles repetitivos y así continúa un poco al segundo acto, pero más adelante te darás cuenta de la variación de mecánicas y de como se hace un poco mas difícil.
    Los puzzles se sienten bastante sencillos, son mas de habilidad que de pensar.
    Hablando de dificultad, lo jugué en normal y me pareció difícil en algunos niveles, mas no la cosa imposible que era su predecesor del Super Nes, recuerden que soy manca, así que para los que quieran recordar esa época del SNes la dificultad battletoad es la buena.
    Como puntos negativos le pondría el dibujo, pero no hablo del diseño en general del juego, si no del diseño de los enemigos, que a mi parecer, son demasiado abstractos, sí, son aliens y lo que quieran, pero pudieron esforzarse poco mas en diseños mas mamalones.
    Tmb sentí que le hacia falta un ambiente mas hardcore, es que, todo se ve lindo aquí, como caricatura de cartoon network, con la música metalera que tiene un vistazo mas caricatura de MTV le vendría mejor xD
    Para terminar quiero resaltar la super genial Musica que se metieron en los niveles, sonidos metaleros bien rockerones es lo que caracteriza esta saga y la mantiene, definitivamente tengo que buscarme esas rolitas a parte

Nice and smooth graphics with some modern context (Except for the Dark Queen, oh God how i miss the old one), tight and responsive controls, plenty of achievements, some humor (Yes, since Space Toads are a so sensitive and serious theme we can't accept some humor on it, right?!). The franchiseleft aside the gloomy and dark atmosphere from the past and now it is coloured and bright, another concept, both good. If you are a fan and you are not a nostalgic (Even if you did not played the previous instalments since you were not born that time) pain in the ♥♥♥, you will probably like this one and you will enjoyed with your kids and wife and family. Highly recommend for the franchise fans and newcomers, mainly if you are a Ricky and Morty fan(Ryan Ridley wrote this one here).

    Absolutely a fun and engaging game. It captures the essence of the original with a variety of different gameplay styles. It had a more cohesive story than the original albeit silly. Some ppl complain about the style but my husband and I found it very cute and smooth especially considering how fast things wee moving on the screen.     Very good comeback that I was not expecting. Fun, good sense of humour, great graphics, soundtrack. The only con is that it's a bit too short, but you can reply in couch coop.

    Blast of a time - this game is hard! Do not let the fun and vibrant artstyle and cartoony animations fool you! The variety of game modes provide an ever-evolving challenge, and the soundtrack keeps your heart racing. Definitely worth a go, and totally the best when shared with a friend!

    Pretty funny and entertaining. Definitely not the same as previous game, but imo there is nothing wrong with it. Players need to be loosen up because the negativity around it is just ridiculous.

    Bom jogo, bem divertido e dificil, legal para se jogar com os amigos, valeu a compra o combate é bem satisfatorio junto com a trilha sonora e a arte do jogo é bonita.

    To be honest...this game in coop is a 10/10. Grab gamepass or 20 bucks and it is one of the funniest game 2020.

    Me gusto el juego, en general los exclusivos de MS no son buenos, peor aun si los comparamos con los de Sony, pero este si me gusto, es divertido, hay variados combos, la historia es graciosa y en general se disfruta. Le iba a poner un 8 pero como le han puesto notas tan bajas le pondre un 10 para promediar ya que me gustaría una secuela de este y con notas tan bajas sera difícil la realicen.

    Определенно, один из лучших битэмапов за последнее время. Разрабы дали нам то, что мы хотели, а именно боевых жаб и даже больше! Тут есть все! Нет! Абсолютно все! Классная игровая механика, отзывчивое управление, сочная картинка, превосходный саундтрек, куча месилова, экшона и юмора! В игре даже присутствуют интересные мини игры, секретики и    Ребята, это ведьмак от мира Beat'em Up'ов!

    12 боевых жаб из 10!

    Отдельно радует и вызывает улыбку на лице это то, что разрабы решили ударить с вертухи по олдфагам. Они дали олдфагам то, что они хотели: тех самых боевых жаб, от которых идет пот на кончиках пальцев, но так же решили их затроллить по максимуму: новый визуал, высмеивание олдов (отсидка в бункере 26 лет, речи про ретро игры) и Темную Королеву сделать другом.

    Это отличный пример того, как нужно делать продолжения старых добрых игр (разумеется после SoR4).    … Expand

    Initially when microsoft announced this game, I saw a lot of people with their feet behind, saying that it is very childish and that the game would not succeed, however with the game released I see that this has become the opposite considering that most of these friends are now playing the game, Battletoads (2020) is a platform game, bullethell, puzzle and finally Beat 'em up, the game manages to mix all these styles as you play without being tiring, the game has a great story and very funny, I I played this game in stream and I always saw a friend laughing, the game plays with the time without having a continuation (long 26 years) and plays with many other things in a healthy way, I played the game on the battletoads difficulty and I must say that there were some moments that I felt that the game was too difficult, but it was just me stopping for a minute, breathing and playing again that I realized that the whole stage has a trick to pass, it's not impossible, it's just a "look around that you go i realize what to do "this i say more for puzzles and bullethell levels, finally the game deserves a higher score than the current one shown, i saw with a large part of the reviews are from people who are not playing the game or just giving a negative review for saying that the game is too short or too difficult, well I will play the marathon game for 9 hours solo and I loved it, it was a great experience, the last time I had an experience like this was with cuphead, finally I played on pc, I didn't see any graphics problems, image or audio bugs, nothing that could get in the way.

    Inicialmente quando a microsoft anunciou esse game, vi muita gente com o pé atrás, dizendo que esta muito infantil e que o game não iria vingar, porém com o game lançado vejo que isso se tornou o contrario considerando que a maioria desses amigos agora estão jogando o game, Battletoads ( 2020) é um jogo plataforma, bullethell,puzzle e por fim Beat 'em up, o jogo consegue bem misturar todos esses estilos conforme você joga sem ser algo cansativo, o jogo tem uma otima historia e muito engraçada, eu joguei em stream esse game e sempre via algum amigo caindo na risada, o jogo brinca com o tempo que ficou sem ter uma continuação ( longos 26 anos ) e brinca com varias outras coisas de forma sadia, joguei o game na dificuldade battletoads e devo dizer que teve alguns momentos que senti que o jogo era dificil demais, mas foi só eu parar um minuto, respirar e jogar novamente que percebi que toda a fase tem um macete para ser passada, não é nada impossivel, é apenas um "olhe em volta que você vai perceber o que deve fazer" isso eu digo mais para os puzzles e fases bullethell mesmo, por fim o jogo merece sim uma nota maior do que a nota atual mostrada, vi com grande partes das reviews são de pessoas que não estão jogando o game ou apenas dando review negativa por dizer que o jogo é curto ou dificil demais, bom eu zerei o game maratonando por 9 horas solo e adorei, foi uma otima experiencia, a ultima vez que tive uma experiencia assim foi com cuphead, por fim joguei no pc, não vi problemas graficos, bugs de imagem ou audio, nada que poderia atrapalhar.    … Expand

    An excellent couch co-op game. Loved the cartoon style of the game which was able to bring me back to when I was 9 when my days were spent watching CN and playing my Sega Mega Drive. Agree that it should have had online co-op but I also think the game is best played as a couch co-op. Hope to see more classic game remakes as awesome as Battletoads and SoR4.

    Ответ на претензию "У Темной Королевы убогий дизайн" такой - вам ли не пофиг? Да, понимаю, полуголая женщина это то, что вы все хотите видеть, но камон, вам было лет по 9, когда вы в старых жаб играли, и, скорее всего, просто женская грудь для вас была чем-то сокральным. А "Брутальность", которой вам так не хватает, в каком месте была в оригинале?

    Игра - гипердинамичный Beat em up (ой давайте, скажите, что скорость игры на nes была выше без дэшей и кучи противников на экране, за каждым из которых надо следить, быстрее там разве что гипертуннель, который сложнее чисто потому, что там дэшей нет) которому даже не мешают все эти "ЫЫЫ ЦВЕТА КИСЛОТНЫЕ ФУУУ". Если у тебя зрение не -20, то прекрасно можно разобрать, что происходит на экране. По крайне мере у меня проблем с этим не возникло.

    Сюжетная линия интересна, с неплохими референсами на прошлую часть, диалоги очень даже. Лично меня пробивает если не на смешок, то на улыбку точно.

    Геймплей улучшился, могу сказать точно. Даже быстро пробежав оригинал перед релизом могу с уверенностью это сказать. В основном это сделано за счет пары дополнительных кнопок, которые помогают набивать комбо до 200+.

    С технической стороны тоже все отлично. Оптимизация есть, багов не встретил, все кнопки нажимаются как мне нужно, попадания регистрируются, тени удобные и помогают определять положение.

    Мини игры неплохо разбавляют катсцены и основной геймплей, давая немного передохнуть. Пусть они банальны, но все ещё интересны. Разработчики, я считаю, справились на отлично.

    В общем, не вижу смысла хейтить игру. Могу принять претензию в сторону цветов, но если вы ничего кроме темных монотонных стен не воспринимаете, то помолчите пожалуйста.

    Не могу поставить 10, потому что старые жабки были в разы сложнее. Я думал тут будет так же, но неоправданы мои ожидания.

So I’ll say it didn’t really hit any nostalgia cords for me, because it is a bit different than the original, but I did enjoy the animation and I found it quite *cheeky* which I’m sure others thought was dumb I thought was funny.     Jogo excelente, jogabilidade de fácil domínio, um dos jogos mais divertidos da geração, lembra bem os Battletoads antigos com algumas mecânicas novas, gameplay bem variado, gráficos lindos, quem não gostou é porque não jogou realmente ou não curte a franquia, nota 10 Battletoads!

    First time, playing this saga, Battletoads 2020 is an amazing game with really enjoyable characters from the three toads to the antagonists. Amazing and creative mechanics, it combines not only beat n up mechanics, but also platform, puzzles, quick time events, starship games and more in a way it's really funny and challenging. Music is amazing and the narrative is really funny. I like the ambientation, the HD sprites that remember me to those amazing cartoons that I saw from hanna barbera when I was I child.
    pros:
    -Funny story and enjoyable characters
    -Interesting and funny mechanics that are not regular on actual games
    -Good Art and style
    -Good Music and effects
    -Good boss fights
    cons:
    -Short (not too short, but the game was so funny that I didn't even want it to be finished).
    -Collectables: there are some items to be collectables, but the game could have gave more interesting collectables (maybe to unlock some powers or artwork) to make the game more replayable

    Note: A game doesn't need to be 3D, to be a good game. Sorry for **** players, stop destroying games with your painful score, let new people enjoy good games.

    Считаю, что игру незаслуженно загнобили. Отличный геймплей. Бодрый, разнообразный. В коопе раскрывается совсем с другой стороны. А не просто для галочки, как в новых черепахахю, к примеру. Увы, кооп только локальный.
    Отличная музыка.
    Рисовка, да, подкачала. Но таково время. Жабы никогда не были на серьёзных щах. Это всегда был стёб над текущим состоянием индустрии. Сейчас индустрия    Считаю, что игру незаслуженно загнобили.     With a new face and tone, Battletoads manages to reinvent itself a little bit. It produces a beat 'em up that makes all kinds of forays into other genres with a sense of humor. Just like the jokes in the story, that is not always successful. The Battletoads shine as animated stars, but the lack of co-op, the very simple gameplay, and the sometimes very stretched areas do not make them look that great as video game heroes.

    Battletoads is a stunning return for both the toads and Rare, a team that hasn't had much output recently. While it can become a little tedious to play alone, this is an excellent game to try with a small group of friends on a Friday night. Humour, variety of gameplay, and local co-op make this a great addition to anyone's library.
