Loved the game on table top and was gutted when GW discontinued it. Was overjoyed when I found out it was going on PC. I love the game because I love the universe of 40k and always thought the battleground of void combat needed to be explored (after all, if you can't control space it isn't much good having an army of super warriors). Really amazing tactic RTS game. It isnt normal RTS just like AoE II etc. No, it is "board" game, that you can play on pc. And it would be maybe the best Warhammer 40k game, that i played. Really. Great game - Ships feel good, models are nice, setting is great; A good game. However, the difficulty can be a bit... discouraging to some. Just take your time with the game, maybe look up a guide if you have trouble, and you should be fine.

I love the concept of the game. It is on of a few Real-Time strategies with RPG elements (e.g Homeworld or Star Wolves). I am great fan of Dawn of War series and this one has very similar feel.

The gameplay is well thought-off. Most of the time you command only couple of ships and you have an ability to use "tactical cogitators" and slow time so you can properly manage cooldowns and movements of your ships.

Now to conclude I have to say that I was inclined to give the game even higher score. However constant crashes and various nasty bugs - like the one when a ship suddenly decides to refuse moving forward for remainder of a mission forcing you to restart - prevent me from doing so. Feel free to add one point in case you don't mind these bugs or if you are willing to wait until those are patched.

A very good and original tactical RTS ! Good graphism I did not encounter any bugs or problem and I enjoying playing the campaingn. I hope that other campaign are coming in future DLC as it is a bit frustrating to only play an imperium campaign.

Overall a pretty good space-RTS game and as Warhammer fan i am pleased with it so far. The graphics are great they perfectly resemble the dark and gritty atmosphere of the Warhammer 40.000 Universe as about the gameplay it is a bit unbalanced (for example the Eldar feel a bit overpowered but you should not forget they are one of the most technological advanced races in the game universeOverall a pretty good space-RTS game and as Warhammer fan i am pleased with it so far. There are also some small bugs but i have not find any serious flaw so far. I hope they release an expansion in the future and add more playable races and more stuff Expand

BF:G is a niche title and far from perfect. Initially i had hoped for another type of game and needed quite a few hours to get accustomed to it. What me caught in the end was the very enjoyable multiplayer. It has its balancing issues, but i'll take that over a homogenized approach on gameplay that provides everyone the exact same experience at any time.

    BF:Gs multiplayer will punish

BF:Gs multiplayer will punish you for doing it wrong but gives you the tools to come up with a strategy of your very own.

The campaign is fine and captures the spirit of WH40k very well. Some of the cutscenes like the orks intorduction are pretty awesome.

Overall, it's very solid for what it is.

The games itself seems to be quite a good "conversion" of the original boardgame.
Unfortunatly it's still a bit unstable and seems to crash quite often.
I'ìm giving it an 8 assuming they will fix these crash issues.

It's basically a real time tactical RTS.. The campaign has great cinematics and storytelling. I'm not fond of data retrieval or convoy missions though.

It may seem like the map is being taken over and you can't do anything but its part of the story and you'll see when you get to that part in the mission. Some things that you do or don't do also will affect later missions.

Very fun. Never played the table top, (or any table top tbh.. oh wait Monopoly until I threw the board at the wall and burned the paper... in the kids version. [yes I used matches and hair spray])

A lot more complexity than first glance would suggest, as well as depth. Until level 5 I was thinking maybe I already have seen most of the stuff..... then suddenly, no spoilers ---- ****

**** gets real. as in, you have to actually think, and prioritize. Not just TARGETS in a "map / match / engagement," but BEFORE, and after....

Lots of fun things and I cant tell where the generation a tad older than me really got into the dice type games, ala E.T. (the movie ....DnD? lmao)

Hit me up for any info or to watch me play thru steam.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is really eager to eat your time, and, since this game is chock-full of micromanagement, it can be too overwhelming at times. It can also be a lot of fun when you play online with actual people, so pick it up if you're looking for fresh multiplayer experiences.

It’s not just the best game set in Warhammer 40,000 universe we’ve seen in years, but also the best modern space strategy. I need to warn you though – it is brutally difficult. [06/2016, p.48]
