    If you're looking for a Battlefield 1 style game. This is not it. Take all the aspects that made BF1 a good game, and scrap them. I recently purchased this game, hoping to have a fantastic experience, like I have had in BF1, especially when I heard good things about the Pacific Theater update. But, all I experienced was an extremely fast pace version of BF1, with way less components forIf you're looking for a Battlefield 1 style game. This is not it. Take all the aspects that made BF1 a good game, and scrap them. I recently purchased this game, hoping to have a fantastic experience, like I have had in BF1, especially when I heard good things about the Pacific Theater update. But, all I experienced was an extremely fast pace version of BF1, with way less components for strategic gameplay. Next, my experience on the multiplayer gametypes was horrific. It was just a constant chain of deaths, unless you camp. But, in BF1, I'm able to pull off a 40 to 5 KD ratio. Along with the almost instant deaths, they removed the aspect of spotting enemies. Unless you're a Recon (Scout). Which was a great way to relay information of the location of opponents without having to "quick scope" and camp, like the typical Scout.

    I've learned to have a great hatred for this game in its current state. This is excluding the unnecessary Political Correctness that many others have mentioned. So to sum it all up, this game is horrible if you're looking for a Battlefield 1 experience because it's NOTHING like it.    … Expand

    SJW agenda and emptiness. Infinity Ward/Theyarch make cartoonish shooters for kids, Dice makes sjw ww2 series. 4 for engine, technical part, 0 for the game.

    Update Alright, year 2 Pacific Update made all the difference. Old huge maps, minimizing sjw stuff(while still keeping some of it, your top management are freaking sick fanatics), aerial, marine and vehicular combat. Had a blast    SJW agenda and emptiness. Infinity Ward/Theyarch make cartoonish shooters for kids, Dice makes sjw ww2 series. 4 for engine, technical part, 0 for the game.

    Alright, year 2 Pacific Update made all the difference. Old huge maps, minimizing sjw stuff(while still keeping some of it, your top management are freaking sick fanatics), aerial, marine and vehicular combat. Had a blast playing for several hours on these islands. Obvious chinese cheaters and lack of Hardcore Mode are the only issues for now i'd say. 2020 year rating is 5/10 easily(-3 for sjw stuff, -2 for abandoning Hardcore Mode).    … Expand

    Worst Battlefield ever. Its just sad to play. Buy instat BF 3 or 4 for cheap and have fun with it.

    This game is So unbalanced, crappy **** dont buy this **** and waste your nerves for that. Bf 1 was WAAAAAAAY better. New expansion doesnt change anything. I v played 4 maos in multiplayer and turned that **** off forever. My team could t even go out of spawn as an attacker. Regret buying this **** So much. Even ****ty cod MW is better than this.

    Single palyer campaign was wierd and i dont like it. Going from overdramatic to overadventurous. Being anti-war and glorifiing it. It is a great specticle but it failed to be clever and bring some message. The only good story was the last one about german tank in Berlin in the end of war. It feels apocalyptic and characters was more interesting. Not a bland heroes of first 3 stories butSingle palyer campaign was wierd and i dont like it. Going from overdramatic to overadventurous.     I've played every single Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. My favorite Battlefield was 1942, Vietnam and Battlefield Heroes. But I have spent numerous of hours having fun in the other Battlefield games as well.
    Battlefield V started off a bit bad, bugs and glitches here and there but that never bothered me that much. The gun play was fine and the damage of the weapons were fine.    I've played every single Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. My favorite Battlefield was 1942, Vietnam and Battlefield Heroes. But I have spent numerous of hours having fun in the other Battlefield games as well.
    Battlefield V started off a bit bad, bugs and glitches here and there but that never bothered me that much. The gun play was fine and the damage of the weapons were fine.
    Weapons like the MG42 did actual damage and was accurate (like its supposed to) while you were using a bipod.

    Now, a few upadates later, the game is completely ruined. Guns feel like peashooters. The damage is horrible and make the game unplayable for me. You can get killed while using an bipod on a LMG by a greasegun or sten from long distance while shooting your entire ammo at them. It makes no sense at all. Not only LMG's have this problem, Nearly every weapon that should do a fair amount of damage (like the STG for example) are wortheless.

    Until this is fixed and you don't need an entire magazine to kill someone, stay away from this game.    … Expand

    This is simply the worst battlefield I ever played. Tons of bugs and glitches, Hackers all around the map,My Internet is good and this is the only multiplayer game that I lose connection every single time in a multiplayer match, Poor Singleplayer Stories ( Except the Last Tiger ), The Worst TTK I have ever seen in a battlefield game, or just in any FPS I ever played in general, for me theThis is simply the worst battlefield I ever played.     Game was released an unfinished piece of **** and yet somehow still managed to regress from that state. At least the losers at DICE LA is breaking new grounds at how bad you can be at your job.

    Honestly, put me in coach, I don't know **** about coding either and I'd like a paycheck for doing **** nothing too!

    I love the Battlefield series, but something went wrong with this one.
    1) Constant crashes and disconnects
    First of all this is the only game where I usually get disconnected or crash to desktop 2-3 times during a gaming session of less than a couple of hours. Unacceptable because I have seen these errors in bascially all Battlefield games, and it is frustrating finally finding a great    I love the Battlefield series, but something went wrong with this one.

    First of all this is the only game where I usually get disconnected or crash to desktop 2-3 times during a gaming session of less than a couple of hours. Unacceptable because I have seen these errors in bascially all Battlefield games, and it is frustrating finally finding a great game and then get a crash to desktop 15 min into the game. Some days it happens, some days it doesn't (which is super frustrating... You knever know).

    Have tried a few fixes and the problem still persists and its worth noticing its the only game this happens in.

    Other bugs: I press I want to play a game of Grand Operations. Many times you get dropped into A) Wrong game mode B) Match almost over.

    2) Change of core mechanichs
    They changed so many core mechanichs in the game to please 'the masses' while ruining the experience for many seasoned Battlefield fans.

    Why did they remove 3D spotting? Great mechanic that I have really liked since Bad Company 2.

    Oh man, I could go on. On the positive side many great looking maps with dynamic weather and "epic feeling" when you storm enemtey positions followed by tanks and planes. But experience is quickly ruined by all the negatives (at least from a seasoned BF games POV)

    3) Oh and did I mention cheaters on many servers in PC? Encounter a few situations during the week where people are obviously using aimbot. Why is there no !voteban systems implemented?
    Why not innovate (in regard to the BF series at least) and introduce a killcam?

    Faction based guns, old school weapons, vehicles that can't be taken on very easily by foot soldiers. Recycled maps and no real anti-cheat system equal another epic EA game failure. EA has been making failure Battlefield games for about 4 years now. Time to realize you are losing your core players... Will not be risking my $$ on the next one until its a bargain price, canceled Origin Access too.

Planes are WAY overpowered, if a couple of skilled pilots end up on the same team, the other team is nearly guaranteed to lose. There are still occasional bugs and glitches in it, over a year after release, and there is still no team balancing in the middle of matches, so if a squadMeh, it's not as bad as some people say. But it definitely lacks the polish you'd expect from an AAA game. Planes are WAY overpowered, if a couple of skilled pilots end up on the same team, the other team is nearly guaranteed to lose. There are still occasional bugs and glitches in it, over a year after release, and there is still no team balancing in the middle of matches, so if a squad or two leaves when team, it is just going to be a 32vs20 game until the round ends.     Played all the Battlefield games up to date, but had to unninstall this one after 2 days.
    I must say, this game is:

    DICE decided it would be a good idea to release an update that they thought would cater to new players before the holiday break. In doing so they have alienated the majority of their core playerbase in order to make a quick cashgrab. Check Reddit/Twitter/BF Forums and you'll see how the community have reacted to this. Тут минимум нужно 3-5 челиков (А в БФ 4 можно было соло либо с РПГ 7 убить с 3 выстрелов либо с С4 взорвать если по тихому подойти)Самолеты вообще бессмертны,ибо зениток почти нет на карте,а если ты в неё сядешь то любой вафел может тебя легко в неё шотнуть.
    Мой любимый класс медика вообще засрали в говно,дали ему самые хуевые пушки без прицела(а карты то большие и как играть сука без прицела ааа сука).
    Рес за медика слишком долгий,пока ты ресаешь союзника тебя уже убьют(по сравнению с прошлыми частями рес просто конченый).
    Про ебаный хардкор я уже и говорить не хочу. Вот нахуя это нужно было делать? Это Арма или Батла? Патроны кончаются быстро,самолечения как в предыдущих частях нету,если тебя ранили то нужно искать либо медика либо медпункты,а это пздц как бесит. Вот поэтому все и тупо кемперят.
    Хваленная постройка тупо ограничена и строится можно только в определенных местах.

    Постоянные баги: привет неработающие мины,провалы под текстуры или же НЕВИДИМЫЕ СОЛДАТЫ(а я вначале думал что это такой чит). Постоянные издевательства над игроками: то ТТК постоянно меняют,то пинг скачет и падает,то на сервера не заходит из за блокировки РКН,то ФПС после обновы падает,то каждый раз новые баги после нового патча и даже старые баги из прошлых частей БФ типа плохой реги. Это просто самая худшая часть Батлы,вообще не понимаю почему у неё онлайн приемлемый,толи людям играть уже не во что. Как у фаната данной серии у меня просто бомбит от этой игры,уже некого желания нету играть в это. Еще эти гниды не хотят добавлять СССР.
    Удаляю данную игру так как больше нет желания в ней страдать,в ней плохо абсолютно все.
    Особенно ужасная оптимизация которая дает 30-60 кадров на не слабом ПК( Intel Core i7 3770,16 гигов ОЗУ,1060 на 6 гигов). В том же Батлфронте 2 у меня на средних 100-150 фпс,хотя движок у игры тот же самый.

    псс. После БФ 4 остальные Баталфилды выходили крайне посредственные и плохие и началась тотальная деградация серии. Лично мое мнение ИМХО.    … Expand

If you are looking for a quality battlefield game like 3 or battlefield I. This game definitely isn't it. As someone who has been a battlefield fan since Battlefield 2. I can tell you with confidence that this game is one of the worst. DICE basically fell into the SJWDon't look at the meaningless critic reviews obviously, this game has the worst rating in it's entire series for a reason. I can tell you with confidence that this game is one of the worst. DICE basically fell into the SJW outcry and this game is a product of their fall instead of looking at actual historical events.
    They also tried implementing the boring and monotonous "battle-royale" genre that has plagued every game to try to improve their ratings but it didn't do squat for the game.
    In conclusion go back to the older battlefields, they are years ahead of this game and are so much better it actually turns this game into a comedy more than a first-person shooter.    … Expand

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
