    I really dont get this negative Review score.
    BF 5 is a great game IN THE MULTIPLAYER. Singleplayer: The singleplayer is really weak. that's true, wich is btw. the reason for the Review score 8. The same thing like in bf1 except for less inspiration with the mission design. Multiplayer: DICE has made a lot of changes depending specific gameplay- and teamplay Mechanics.    Summary:

    Multiplayer:
    DICE has made a lot of changes depending specific gameplay- and teamplay Mechanics.
    And holy **** i do love these new mechanics! especialy, the fact that Everybody is able to revive in Battlefield V sounds stupid on the Paper, but in game it feels awesome.
    The Medic is still an extremely important class because of the new regeneration system, and all around the Classes seems to be ballanced on a great way. The CORE-Teamplay (Reviving, resupplying, and fighting together is working absolutely fine to me!
    Another Point... BF5 left the path of being such an expensive DLC based game.
    It will be delivering Content for Free to all players. So GG to EA! Havent seen this for such a long time in a AAA production!
    The game itself feels great!
    Now one negative Point.
    It feels like we do have a little lack of Content on release.
    Especialy to mee i just want to see more of it! but i know there might be alot of you angry about it. It is a big point.

    In General i just can Say - Good Job to DICE.
    Leave out the Singleplayer - Focus on the multiplayer and give us more of it!    … Expand

    Of course visually, for example, but the one thing they absolutely nailed is Squad Play.
    If your squad cooperates, this creates maybe the best game moments I experienced so far in >20 years of gaming. If it doesn't, it's still good, and while I personally would have hoped for a steeper attrition curve here,    This is right up there with Battlefield 3, and in many aspects, it's even better.

    Its bad game that is not worth its cost and already goes with a discount on ps and xbox stores.
    Its boring, unfun, with poor performance, ive no idea why I should prefer this over bf1 or bf4. Not to mention the SJW bs with "dont like it dont buy it" controversy... dice wants to rewrite history about how blacks and disabled whamen with bionical arms won the ww2. disgraceful.

    I've been actually playing this game for some time now (12h) so I guess im way beyond "you have to feel the game" stage. I gotta say, it's one of the worst Battlefields released so far.

    Don't get me wrong, some of the improvements are cool (I liked fortifications, visual effects, graphics, sounds) but anything else is just garbage. The big maps feel too big, with to little vehicles.    I've been actually playing this game for some time now (12h) so I guess im way beyond "you have to feel the game" stage.     The big maps feel too big, with to little vehicles. Gun play and movement are weird & clunky. Game in general feels rushed and unpolished (not to even mention bugs).

    Also I don't feel any immersion. It's not WW2, it's also not what was presented in BF1. It's somewhere....no where? And who thought about those stupid revival animations and character screaming "there's blood everywhere!"? Yeah no ***t Sherlock. In case you didn't know - teammates revive you with giving you a hand (literally). WTF?    … Expand

    Battlefield V is a great game, both on it's own and as part of the larger franchise. I have played every Battlefield game since Battlefield 1942. The new frostbite engine is absolutely stunning.     The new frostbite engine is absolutely stunning. Every session I notice new physics interactions; most recently I was amazed when a nearby explosion causes the packed snow to slide off the top of a house on one of the snowy maps. One of the - if not the - most beautiful games I have ever played, and it seems to be very well optimized.

    I do wish we had some larger maps with more vehicles scattered about. I miss that about the old-school battlefield games. I'm willing to give that up for immersion of the frostbite engine.

    The whiners that think this game would be made realistic by removing female avatars fail to recognize that this is a videogame and not a history lesson. If women (or men) want to play this game as female characters they should be able to. If you want to play a historically accurate WW2 shooter go play Red Orchestra.    … Expand

    Operations has turned into absoloute **** with the rotating gamemode. Also has women in it on the frontlines.

    Battlefield V is a good game, albeit a little dissapointing in some aspects.

    + The gameplay / gunplay is good and fun + The graphics are amazing + Sound is amazing + There are some good multiplayer maps, Hamada, Arras and Twisted Steel and fun times to be had. + They will add DLC content for free + No pay-to-win, only cosmetic items. + More squad-focused gameplay is good. + Some    Battlefield V is a good game, albeit a little dissapointing in some aspects.

    + The gameplay / gunplay is good and fun
    + The graphics are amazing
    + Sound is amazing
    + There are some good multiplayer maps, Hamada, Arras and Twisted Steel and fun times to be had.
    + They will add DLC content for free
    + No pay-to-win, only cosmetic items.
    + More squad-focused gameplay is good.
    + Some innovation with fortification building
    + The weapon specialization trees are actually a good way to customize the guns to your playstyle.

    - The content feels a bit light, with only 8 maps, and some short War Stories. Although they will add to the game later on for free.
    - A lot of the multiplayer maps are too infantry focused an miss that "Battlefield" feeling: Devastation, Rotterdam, Fjell, Narvik: All pretty small and vehicles don't play a significant role.
    - Lacks the iconic WW2 battles (Stalingrad, D-day, Operation Market Garden, Battle of the Bulge, Iwo Jima, etc.). Feels much less like WW2 than even the original BF1942.
    - The grand operations mode is disappointing: not as good as Operations in BF1
    - Chaotic interface with a lot of visual clutter
    - Too much cosmetic B/S for the guns etc.

    All in all I have had a lot of fun with this game so far, 20 hours in. But they will need to add some more content and maps soon, or it will start to feel old really quickly.    … Expand

    Very atmospheric game! But a score of 7 for:
    -Must play for the Nazis and kill the allies.
    -the developers propose to dress the fascists more beautiful. What for ???
    - there are friezes between maps.

    Das beste Battlefield seit den dritten Teil. Gibt noch ein paar kleine Fehler, die aber in keinster Weise den Spaß an dem Spiel nehmen.
    Es sieht Top aus und die Karten sind sehr abwechslungsreich.
    Das Waffengefühl ist perfekt, genauso wie das Soundgefühl.

    It doesn't matter how good the gameplay can be or how stunning the graphics is, without the proper anti cheat this game is dead to me, massive online shooter more like massive cheaters fest

    Being with the franchise as long as I have been with COD, little over a decade, it is nice to see WWII done with poetic ness and class that BF 1 did with WWI. Are there things I would change? Sure, but it is still fun. I enjoyed my experiences with the war stories and so far have not come across too game breaking in the multiplayer aspect. Just minor things here and there but overall stillBeing with the franchise as long as I have been with COD, little over a decade, it is nice to see WWII done with poetic ness and class that BF 1 did with WWI. Are there things I would change? Sure, but it is still fun. I enjoyed my experiences with the war stories and so far have not come across too game breaking in the multiplayer aspect.     I am a rabid fan of BF series and has played though BF1942/2/3/4/Vietnam/1, but I cannot believe DICE made this absolute garbage of a game. It is evident that there is no COHERENT DESIGN in this game. It is NOT WW2. IT HAS NO SOUL. the stories are junk. Multiplayer is no fun. they just re skinned BF1 and even Blatantly recycled map    This is garbage - I wouldn't' play it even it's FREE

    I didn't play, BF1 . Only the beta but I thought it was boring. This actually is fun. I bought it in consideration of that I probably would not like it. But surely it is quite fun! The graphics are insane with ray tracing and for the first time in my life, it really feels that you are hiding in a bush or grass when you are. Every branch and leaf is on its own. Who cares about if there areI didn't play, BF1 . Only the beta but I thought it was boring. This actually is fun. I bought it in consideration of that I probably would not like it.     So, I didn't like BF1 really. I bit the bullet and bought BFV finally and it's honestly fantastic. I don't care about war stories and you can change your appearance to a man or whatever you want to be anytime you want. Gunplay is excellent compared to BF1 and team play is MUCH better, also no more explosive spam. I do miss my mortar though.     Dont listen,dont care and dont read all those 0 score bots,they probably never played the game and they are just a bunch of casuals with some hours in bf4,crying like little babies. I will give you reasons of why this is the best battlefield ever.
    +The graphics are beautiful

    I actually asked my grandparents,they dont feel insulted by the game at all,and told me that everyone who thinks it's insulting, well.." they are fools and dont know what they say and ask for,it's a good thing that the game isn't fully realistic and doesn't picture it the way it was,you have no idea what kind of horrors you are forced to see nor what kind of things you have to do in order to stay alive,it is not insulting you are the ones insulting us for wanting things we don't want to see anymore" My grandfather fought in the german side and saw lot of women picking up rifles or throwing handmade grenades at german tanks in 1944 and partecipated in the occupation of the France and im 1945 he was forced to hide and escape from the allies,he told me how many people he killed and how he never forgot their faces nor their names,is this what you want? Don't buy this game for your wallets sake, if you wanna try it just get the EA Premier Access for a month and test it out like I did. You and you bank account will thank me.     AA is useless, even when you do great on an AA vs a plane they just avoid and heal and are back in the game after like 20 seconds and will avoid that AA turret or just come back to kill you and repeats this.     Worst video game purchase Ive had. Most idiotic revival system ive seen, you cannot shoot people on the ground when they are injudered and they can ONLY get injured not dead. Nazis do not exist its , USSR isnt even in the game.

    Auido is much worse than previous BF games.

    Never buy this.

    I really have no idea why everyone is giving so much bad reviews.
    I liked and enjoyed the game, its better than bf1.
    There are some issues here and there but nothing big.
    Buy this game, I loved it and I think you will too.

    Le campagne sono carine e danno un bel senso di libertà, ovviamente il comparto tecnico è mostruoso anche se avendolo giocato prima del lancio ho riscontrato diversi bug fastidiosi ed in alcuni casi invalidanti. Ottimo togliere il premium dal gioco, FINALMENTE. Non è un gioco che si può considerare storico e punta sul divertimento, quindi non vi aspettate molto da questo punto di vista.     I like the game, especially multiplayer. It's almost perfect and in my opinion one of the best ones. Try multiplayer with a clear head, it's awesome.

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
