I have to admit that I haven't played a lot of it but the game is quite fun actually.

The pace is extremely fast in most of the games. Bullets flying everywhere, it's quite chaotic but still very enjoyable.

    My main complains:
Starting kits - they're terrible, so any new player is forced to grind money to grab any weapon that doesn't suck.

Exclusive weapons that came with more expensive versions of the game. Currently you can't obtain those weapons in any other way.

On top of that I'm a bit disappointed with the amount of weapons and ONCE AGAIN devs made the same mistake of mixing medic class with best available weapons, so everyone and their dog is runing an operator.

    Pros:
    * The single player campaign is undeniably gorgeous. However looks alone do not make a good game.
    * The single player characters are well established and at times funny. It reminds me of the humor of the Bad Company series. Probably one of the best attributes the sp experience has. * I felt the cash system in mp was a nice change. * The vehicles in mp are fun. * The new game

    * The vehicles in mp are fun.
    * The new game modes are great. Blood Money, and Hotwire were both worthy additions.

    Cons:
    * Atrocious UI - Particularly in SP the creators felt they had to put a disgusting icon over anything you could interact with. Even worse is that the further you are away from it the larger the icon is on your screen. I felt they were trying to create the same awful UI from the Far Cry series. At least in Far Cry they give you the option to turn almost all of it off. This is a continuing tragedy among the FPS. They treat the players of a M rated series like monkeys, babying the user through the entire experience. My remedy to this was to use ui.drawenable 0 which removed all of the UI. Guess what, I was able to complete the entire game this way with no fuss.

    * The MP experience doesn't feel like battlefield. There is an overall lack of destructible objects. The first obvious disappointment was in Dust Bowl where the walls of all the buildings are invincible.
    * None of the weapons feel as powerful as they once had.
    * Players can take way too much damage in Hardcore.

After giving the game 3 days to charm me, it hadn't, and I chose to return it. I will be waiting for a better release to spend my money on.

The game feels like BF3 & BF4 hard modes in that you take a lot of damage from bullets with new toys such as grappling hooks and zip lines you can use to maneuver about the maps to get to those key locations or sneak up on someone without using a ladder. Is this a perfect game, no but it is a very good one that often gets criticized by people that most likely do not own it saying it is a re-skin of BF4, which is not true. Same engine yes but there are multiple differences that if you play BF4 you will notice and appreciate. You get a single player campaign many people would pay $60 for alone on top of a new and improved Battlefield multiplayer experience with new maps and game modes not previously seen in the series. BF Hardline releases with a single player campaign, 7 multiplayer game modes and 9 maps. Considering most DLC costs $15 and comes with 1-2 game modes and 4-5 maps, $60 is not overly priced for a new spin on an old franchise and a single player campaign. Expand

You play as Nick Mendoza, a hot headed cop who has a really terrible partner. Really terrible. But who cares about arresting drug dealers and bland car chases!? I wanna play Multiplayer!!!!! I stepped into 7 minutes of Bank Heist, and there was so much stuff on screen, I shot a guy, got shot twice and swam in money. That is Bank Heist, bros. I thought that Visceral could make a gritty, fast paced heist mode like the one I spent hours with in GTA 5. But then again, its EA. EA announced this at E3 making it look all pretty and polished, but it appears that I traded in my PS4 copy and used the 30 bucks EB Games gave ne to get the PC version, just because I heard it looks better. I love my PS4, I get every new game on it. But not this one. So, I only used my Pc for LoL, Starcraft, Dota 2, basically every PC exculsive. Running Hardline was a pain in my ass. I upgraded my cooler and my graphics card, just to smoothly run the damn thing. And after 3 hours, success! I hate the whole Origin thing, you need it to play every new EA title, it ruined NFS Rivals, Garden Warfare, BF4 and Hardline. Servers crash 80 percent of the time on PC, but only 30 percent of the time on PS4, depending on your internet connection. So BH takes a lot of computer space, upgraded coolers and graphic cards, but it still doesnt look as good as PlanetSide 2, that uses a low graphics resolution. The frames per second have inproved, but the game has lost it charm with more loading screens and pop in textures. Overall, its the same crap on PS4, but looks a tad bit better. If this is worth a buy, is up to you, the game isnt any good, and from what I have seen it wont improve in updates as well. Expand

Well, I could not resist. I've bought every BF game released on or before the release date, and could not let my veteran status be left out of date for too long.
So I bought BFHL. I had low hopes of the game being good, so I went into this like it was bound to be bad. I fired up the single player campaign and the first interaction you have is busting down a door to bring down some drug dealers. It felt kind of corny at first, like yeah ok BF. Sure let's catch some bad guys.
Later on, after a few car chases, tutorial levels and cut scenes (which are unskippable) it drops you into your first few missions. You can pretty much tackle these however you want. This is where BFHL Campaign shines. Instead of some run and gun shoot em up non sense level, you make the calls. Every chance that came up, I would not even shoot my gun. You can sneak around every level and arrest the bad dudes, and get bonus experience/unlocks for getting people with warrants. There is also the option to shoot everyone in the face. The characters are very interesting. You learn to love or hate some.. and i mean some really piss you off. Your character also makes the "why the **** are you doing this" decisions that you see in horror movies sometimes, its subtle enough to ignore. I got to about level 7/11 for the campaign before it was 10 PM. So it does seem a little short and the sneaking around probably lengthened it for me.
    Multiplayer
Hotwire The multiplayer brings in a few new game modes. My favourite being the Hotwire missions. Basically 6 or so cars spawn around the map which act as control points. You have to obtain these cars and stay alive as long as you can to bring down the other teams points. This becomes and cat and mouse game where you are literaly evading 32+ other players. What's really interesting, is a lot of the explosive power that riddles the other BF games gets taken right out. There is one grenade launcher (I think) and an RPG you can only get out of a trunk of a car. So the random death by explosions is lessened, but still present.
Rescue The deployable zip line and grappling hook were actually used by a few players in a mode like CSGO where you had to rescue a hostage. We ziplined across a street and between 2 skyscrapers to their side of the map, and tried to bring them back to ours. In this particular mode you had one life, unless you were revived, but that doesn't seem to slow down the pug mentality.
Blood Money In this mode there is a designated area with cash, and you have to bring it back to your vault to score it. If you die, the money falls on the ground and anyone can pick it up. There is a lot of bonus points for grabbing killing and scoring the money, this could be an easy leveler mode if its what your interested in.
Heist This game mode seems a bit wonky to me, I'm not sure if it glitched or its just plain terrible. Basically the criminals have to break into a vault and get money to an extraction point twice. I'm not sure what your supposed to do after that because our team lost after completing the objective. So ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
Overall, the game runs great maxed out on my GTX 970 and an i7 4770k. I ran into no FPS drops or stutter or lag. I did not experience one crash or have any issues technically. It seems like it was a pretty smooth launch.
While the games setting may put off some people, I would really recommend you try the game despite the mediocre reviews. I think the battlefields really became a game that everyone loves to hate, despite the developers putting forth a good effort to repair the brand. While I still think there is room for improvement, this game will keep me entertained for a while and I will most likely bite the bullet to purchase it for a few friends, since the price seems to be the most off putting part for them.

Best battlefield game so far beautiful graphics and fun multiplayer. The game offers many great snipers rifle for 360 noscoping and quick scoping someone from long range feels extremely satisfying. For hardcore gamers there is even MLG 420 noscoping aswell. This otherwise fantastic game is sadly ruined by camping and hardscoping but is still fun playable if you play with pr0s.

Battlefield Hardline offers a fun single-player experience. Arresting suspects could have used some extra polish, as it's way too easy to manipulate the AI to surrender. The multiplayer mode is quite fun as well, but it suffers from lack of content and for the fact that it plays out like a stripped down version of Battlefield 4. The game's heritage aside, Battlefield Hardline is by no means a poor effort. [May 2015]
