Dec 24, 2010When DICE buffs up the formidable war machine that is Battlefield Bad Company 2, their star multiplayer franchise, they use every last bit of cultural and movie folklore surrounding this cruel and well-covered conflict. Polished to the extreme, Vietnam enhances all the more the fun it gives us, and those typical moments of bravery.

-
PC Gamer UKDec 30, 2010How DLC should be done. A chunk of game almost as substantial as the full release for a third of the price. [Feb 2011, p.94]
-
Dec 17, 2010Bad Company 2: Vietnam is the best option to add extra value to the best on-line action shooter this far.
-
Dec 20, 2010A lot of the usual equipment is missing, which doesn't matter too much because of the great atmosphere. But in the long run after getting all the gold medals, we'll go back to the main game.

Feb 22, 2011Visceral game changer that provides almost too much bang for 15.8591 bucks. No innovations that further the title, though. [Mar 2011, p.104]

PC PowerPlayFeb 11, 2011An essential purchase for every true Battlefield fan. [Feb 2011, p.55]
-
Jan 21, 2011A generous and competent addition to Bad Company 2.
-
Jan 1, 2011It's a solid add-on, especially if you don't care for the engineer and would just rather have solid FPS gunplay over the high-tech gadgets. It's not perfect, but the launch did go smoothly and it's a blast to play.
-
Dec 27, 2010Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam is not DLC in the current-gen sense of the word. Instead, it's more like an expansion pack from the days of early-'Noughties' PC gaming; a whole new tack on the full game experience rather than a set of maps that only serve to intermittently prolong a game's appeal. For these reasons alone, it's worth the asking price.
-
Dec 21, 2010There's a slickness to the combat, an intelligence to the map design, and a sense of atmosphere worth exploring, all wrapped up in a fast, fun, progressive experience that drip-feeds you goodies as you go.
-
Jan 31, 2011Instead of building upon ideas introduced in Bad Company 2, Vietnam rolls everything back to the decade-old Battlefield 1942.
