Every gun you could imagine with over an amount of unlocks and attachments that only a BF game could take advantage of. Jets, helos, tanks, amphibious vehicles, jeeps, little birds, UAVs, controllable robots, AA vehicles, and so much more. It's jam packed with content.

If I didn't say this is the best game I've ever played, I'd be lying. 10/10, thank you Dice!

While the single-player campaign isn't terribly original, and there are the usual bugs that plague a Battlefield release, Battlefield 3 is simply the best multiplayer FPS on the market.

I wish I could give this game a higher score than 7 but unfortunately I have quite a few issues with it. First of all, half the maps are tiny and aren't open at all. The other half of the maps are really good and there's tons of gameplay options with all the new unlocks and whatnot. Gameplay is still solid in general but don't even both with the campaign as it's even worse than BC2's. Expand

Long time battlefield fan and I am truely impressed by the games visuals and sound effects on high settings. I feel that the singleplayer-co-op and battlelog stuff falls short and prevents this game being a 10 for me. That aside, the "main-event" competitive multiplayer is fantastic that for me this game warrants a 9 rather than a 7 or 8.

BF3 is a solid game with some of the most enjoyable multi-player to be found. I can't say much about the single player, I played about an hour of it, then switched to MP and haven't gone back. I really don't understand all of the complaining about using a browser to control the game. Most reviews seem to dismiss it outright, but for no actual reason I can find. Here are some reasons I LIKE the browser. I don't have to sit staring at loading screens anymore, I switch to another tab and browse the web. If I want to check my stats from another PC, it's all the same interface. I probably find this more appealing than most since I'm a developer and can see the sense in it. Yes the game, and battlelog have bugs. That is standard on any game of this size, it's not ideal, but it doesn't make BF3 worse than any other game I've played in the last 5 years. Nothing ships perfectly anymore, so why expect it to? So far DICE have done a good job of addressing issues, so they don't bother me. For me the bottom line is this, I don't know of any other game that can provide the same experience BF3 can, the sound and visuals are fantastic, and the game play is a lot of fun. Huge maps, destructible environments, great vehicle combat. BF3 is the only game I know of that can provide all of those, so if that's what you're looking for, there is no competition. Expand

The game follows closely with the rest of the BF series, with large expanded maps, vehicular warfare, and a reward system for squad based tactics. Every class is useful with each of their jobs and the game tries to promote a mix of classes to be a more successful squad when teamwork is being used, even in their "condensed" form. (example: assault and medic class combined into one). On the other hand, not having a Commander diminishes it's value because of certain tactics is now left out of the equation. No more are the artillery strikes, or the map scans, or even supply drops. Much of that is left with the squads and squad commanders, on a much smaller scale. That also leaves out another objective, by trying to go behind enemy lines and take the important commander buildings out. dice took that objective out and turned it into another game mode called rush. Graphicwise, it is one of the more intense sceneries to date. Tracer fire everywhere, with smoke pluming in the background, destructible environments all adds to the feel of a real life battlefield. Destructible environments alone adds to the tactical flare of the game. Can't go around a wall? C4 it and make your own door. Enemy camping in the building and you not having line of sight to the enemy? Tank with a couple of AP shells in that building will bring the building into rubble. I know there are alot of gripes about Origin, but to be honest, I see no major flaws in the system. The game loads lightning quick compared to BF2 or 2142. It will have a learning curve to use, since it is somewhat a new way to interface with the game. We could also say the same about Steam when it first was released. All in all, I find BF3 to be a refreshing departure to the CoD world of Ramboesque style, one man army gameplay, to a large scale full on 64 player war, where squad based team play reigns king. However, the team at DICE recognized the value of public opinion and immediately patched the game upon release and is still continuing to do so. The actual graphics are quite unrivalled and the technology in the Frostbite 2 engine literally makes you jump when a bullet goes flying past your head. The technology and animations are much more fluent and realistic. Still a couple of early release bugs but with them soon to be ironed out, Battlefield 3 is a serious challenger to the FPS genre and says to competitors, "Your move".

On top of that the initial load time (first time entering a match) it takes at least 3-5 minutes to load. After that load time is minimal.
