I find it amusing that I can run The Witcher 3 on high on a stable 60 FPS but cannot get over 20 FPS in this game. And in the few areas where I can actually get good frames, it is capped at 30.

I've seen my share of bad console-ports, but this is a huge insult to PC gamers. After Watch_Dogs, AC:Unity and more crappy AAA devs trying to sell garbage in a shiny box, this one is the next in

Concept is nice and I'm sure the console-versions are running nice and enjoyable, but the PC version is not worth 5 euros.

An utterly unplayable mess. Locked to 30FPS, but runs at around 15. Anyone giving this a positive score either hasn't played it, is outright lying, or has mistakenly left a review on the PC version Metacritic page when they in fact played it on console.

The laziest port I've seen of a game in a long, long time. It takes some going to outdo Assassin's Creed: Unity in the "did you even playtest this thing before release?" stakes, but Arkham Knight comfortably achieves that and more.

It is so unplayable that I can't actually review the game itself, as I can't get beyond 20 minutes of it before the constant frame rate stuttering gives you eye ache. It's a game that relies on fast paced fluid combat and hectic car driving sequences; both of which are an absolute nightmare at this frame rate.

    Utter garbage.

Worst PC port in a while, unplayable as it is now even on lowest settings and the 30fps cap is unforgivable on a PC game... i know that you can tweak the frame cap if you edit the ini file of the game.

I'm trying to run the game on my Asus ROG Notebook ( GTX 980 8GB, 32GB Mem, i7-4860HQ ) with latest drivers and I can't even get the game started - all screens start flickering and I get single pictures. As long as the game is in this state I can only advise everyone to stay far away (and don't even get me started on the DLC).

Another broken AAA game. When Ports were starting to get better you have this undo all the good will towards ports. Locked frame rates. Huge FPS dips to the point of unplayable, and sometimes an unresponsive bat mobile. The PC version of this game is broken to the point of unplayable. Do not waste your money.

This is by far the worst port I have ever attempted to play. There are serious framerate issues (dropping as low as 12 frames per second occasionally, and into the low 20's frequently, and by the way, this is after removing the 30fps cap that it comes with out of the box), crashes, and just all around horrible performance and optimization. As of now, this port puts "Assassin's Creed: Unity" to shame. These issues are most likely stemming from the fact that "vram" usage is reportedly going as high 5gb's and above on "Ultra" settings. What's worse, even Ultra doesn't look great by any means. I have no idea how the vram is getting taxed so hard when the textures look dated at best. In contrast, The Witcher 3 on Ultra settings would barely go over 2.5 gb's of vram even at 1440p, and it's graphics are incredible. My PC's specs perfectly match the "Ultra" requirements, except instead of one GTX 980, I have two, which believe it or not, seems to performance even worse. I had high hopes for this game as Rocksteady's take on the Batman series has been incredible and one of my favorite franchises of all time. I didn't just think, but knew it would be up to par with previous outings in the series...Boy was I wrong. Apparently Rocksteady outsourced the port to Iron Galaxy Studios, a 12 man team known primarily for console work. Makes sense now. But this flub isn't on Iron Galaxy Studios, no this is Warner Bros. and Rocksteady's fault all the way. These are both huge names in the industry and can easily afford to hire the best of the best when it comes to a pc port. But that is not what happened here, not by a long shot. WB and Rocksteady cut some corners looking to make a quick cash grab, and judging by the amount of pre-orders, it's already worked. Nvidia should be also ashamed to have their name on this piece of crap. This port is a disgrace to Rocksteady's all but untouchable namesake, and unless this game is fixed and fixed fast, you can be sure that many a pc gamer will have lost faith in Rocksteady and Warner Bros. indefinitely. Yet another bad port to add to the recent tarnishing of pc gaming. Here's to hoping this recent trend comes to a grinding halt. Unfortunately, signs don't seem to point in the direction of this happening anytime soon. Expand

After I shut down every other application, I ran the game...seemed to run find this time. I still don't know what caused it but I sincerely doubt it was due to a shortage of ram.

I got into the game, I was fully aware of the fact that it was capped at 30fps. I wanted to play it just as is first before messing with the ini file. Naturally turned up everything to the highest settings and the result was extremely poor performance, frame drops and tons of stuttering. It is not playable. I then turned down the settings which does not help it much. The astonishing thing is that even with settings turned up high the game graphically does not look good. When I went around searching for the issues on the internet, there are clear images showing the astonishing amount of detail on the PS4 version of the game and the surprising lack of texture detail on the PC version. Stuff like shadows, rain physics are extremely poor on the PC on the PC version.

I proceeded to fiddle around in the ini file to set the framerate to 60fps/120fps to see if it would help anything. Nope still broken. The game is an unoptimized mess and until it is patched unplayable.

The sad part is, the game is just as awful on Nvidia, who have worked with developers for motnhs, as with AMD who only saw the game code for the first time yesterday. I hope AMD sues both of you.

Next, the game size is too big, you're just being lazy with compression. Secondly, the minimum requirements are joke. I have a laptop whose hardware is just as strong as the PS4 and I can't even cosider running the game.

Thirdly, you've turned a Batman game into War Thunder and World of tanks. You've casualized the game with your ''press X to win combat''. Again, shame, shame, shame on you.

Once again we are shown why we shouldn't pre-order (especially on PC), and how little some companies care about their PC audience. If we were smart we would learn to avoid ports altogether, but I know what a tough pill that is to swallow. I hope this gets a fix, but I'm not holding my breath.

Locked at 30 fps but still manages to stutter, insane amount of pop in regardless of graphical fidelity, nvidia game works straight out breaks the game even on an nvida card. I cant even imagine how bad it must be for AMD users.

game runs very bad, lots of hiccups, stuttering, textures pop in, low res textures, DENUVO, wait another month or two, maybe this game will be fixed, from my experience, main reasons of bad performance:

    - streaming textures system

    - denuvo (confirmed by devs from LotF that its consuming 5-10% CPU power)

    - Iron Galaxy (12 people did this port?? rly?? u can see their names in the credits)

WB doesn't give out test copies to reviewers, cancels an expensive collectors edition (possibly because of probable refunds), changes minimum system requirements just before the launch, charges a ridiculous amount of money for season pass that you know nothing about, while also baiting you with a bazillion pre-purchase exclusives.
Did you pre-order their next game yet?

Rocksteady decided to push the responsibility of the entire PC version to a third party. And that was a huge mistake.
