    We all Know that arkham kinght is suffering of bad performances, But instead of blaming the developers of that we can creatic the game itself. This game is masterpiece great graphics, huge and very beautiful world and the best story in the series whit some mistakes what spoiled us the end, but batman and joker were great characters and have a great relationship (lol) .     Best looking game of the series. Despite being released in 2015, the graphics still don't look bad, but graphics alone don't make a game good. Gameplay and story were worse in some ways compared to other games. This is one of the most common negative opinions about the game. Optimization is not very good.

    I think its best game in arkham series. User score is low because when the game came out, had so much bug and porting problem. But they fixed them all. I had 0 problem while playing. I suggest you to play this one.

    A somewhat disappointing conclusion to one of the best superhero game series. This game adds a lot from the graphical fidelity to the satisfying and destructive Batmobile. Unfortunately, with everything the game adds, there is a catch. With the graphical upgrade came performance issues and with the Batmobile sections, repetitiveness and uninspired enemy design.

    Too much Batmobile, very disappointing boss fight with Deathstroke (after one of the best in the Arkham origins). And it is horrible that to get a true ending you need to grind boring militia side quests. Other than that, amazing game, great plot and super fun gameplay. Technically great game (fully repaired as of now), the level of details and animations quality I really miss in modern AAA games.

    They've managed to fix almost everything that was wrong in the previous games. Arkham Knight is the best game in the series while Arkham Origins was the worst.

    Batman is a lot more powerful. You have lots of villains to choose from. Batmobile is quite powerful and you can solve a couple of puzzles with it. You also have dual takedowns sequences where you team up with another character    They've managed to fix almost everything that was wrong in the previous games. Arkham Knight is the best game in the series while Arkham Origins was the worst.

    Batman is a lot more powerful. You have lots of villains to choose from. Batmobile is quite powerful and you can solve a couple of puzzles with it. You also have dual takedowns sequences where you team up with another character or batmobile. There's lots of side missions. The expansion missions are very short but nevertheless a breathe of fresh air.

    The story is great. The ending is great. They've fleshed out all characters very well. There's lots of gadgets. It's fun to beat up a mob of villains because Batman's fights are very well orchestrated. He can also cover a lot of distance between enemies in the middle of a fight which is a relief from the previous series.

    And I am happy to report that the issues have been fixed! I will review the game in its current version with all of the patches and content so keep that in mind! Pros: + Good story! + Gameplay has been refined to near    Arkham Knight, one of the most notorious PC launches in the history of PC gaming.     And I am happy to report that the issues have been fixed! I will review the game in its current version with all of the patches and content so keep that in mind!

    Pros:
    + Good story!
    + Gameplay has been refined to near perfection!
    + Batmobile brings much needed change to combat encounters in vehicle combat encounters!
    + The cast delivers a excellent performance!
    + Visually the game holds up, even to this date!
    + A lot of post launch content!

    Cons:
    - Bosses are a huge letdown compared to Arkham City!

    I only played Arkham City before Arkham Knight, but this feels like even better game. I know PC port was terribly optimized at launch, but playing this in 2023 I am very satisfied with the performance. And overall this game is just great.

    I picked this up after watching the new Robert Pattinson Batman film because I wanted a bit more content which was Batman related.

    First of all, even 7 years on, the game looks gorgeous; the lights of Gotham to the Rain on your armour, genuinely looks phenomenal even after all this time.
    The story is very good, very comic-book esque, one can tell they took inspiration from the Knightfall comics, where Batman needs to round up all the villains in one night.

    Scarecrow has proven to be a solid big-time Villain, a lot of the time we think that it has to be The Joker, or Bane, Poison Ivy, and I feel like a lot of the time Scarecrow gets pushed into being more of a side villain; but making him the primary antagonist and using the Fear Toxin in creative ways, genuinely great writing.

    Gameplay plays similar to what we're used to from Arkham Asylum, if you've played the Middle Earth Shadow of War type games you'll feel right at home with this, or even Spider-man on the Playstation.

    The Batmobile: People tend to be very mixed on this, most of the people I've seen reviewing or talking about the game seem to talk about the Batmobile negatively, I personally, quite liked it, having the walking tank and blowing up the drones. I think if you view the Batmobile exactly as what it is, a walking tank used to take down things Batman can't do on foot, and understand that Batman -needs- this in order to proceed with saving Gotham, you might view it like I do; as a good addition to the series.

    Side Quests: Gotham's Most Wanted, in my opinion, is great, the fact we can go around and apprehend other villains free in Gotham at our own leisure in their own self-contained storylines is interesting and fun to see how they play out. Furthermore I highly recommend if you buy this game to get the Season of Infamy - Most Wanted DLC, this gives you four extra baddies with their own short storylines to apprehend. But the best part about that DLC is that it blends in -seamlessly- with the main story, you don't feel like you're heading to a specific DLC area, it just all flows into what you want to do next. This is the best way to do DLC's in my opinion.

    Generally, I can highly recommend Arkham Knight, it took me around 24 hours or so to do all of the Most Wanted DLC, the Story and all of the other Baddy storylines (Except for the Riddler Trophys). It was very fun, kept pulling me back. I feel if you're a Batman fan, whether of the films or the comics, you will be hard-pressed to dislike this game.    … Expand

    I am my revenge. The storytelling is very bad. We are constantly beating tanks. Please dont. Take Arkham City for example. He's technically improved a bit, but his first release was bad. The gameplay is fluid and beautiful.

    Чем дальше - тем лучше. Я просто похлопаю, одна из любимых серий, привившая мне любовь к DC. Это очень и очень хорошее продолжение, получил колоссальное удовольствие, и обязательно вернусь еще.

    I was flabbergasted when i saw user score of this game. Some of y'all seriously need to complete some non-free iq test before typing something with your gross messy fingers in here, or just stick to easier games (in all senses) like candy crush saga (if you can figure out what you should do there ofc). Seriously, I've seen dude giving this game 0 because he CAN'T COMPLETE THE FIRST ****I was flabbergasted when i saw user score of this game. What the **** I just know that there's plenty of **** dropping 0 for this game saying that graphics is suck because they didn't turned off grain in the settings. Nah man **** is shocking.

    This game is actual masterpiece. The graphics quality, the city, npcs, story, gayplay, overall. When you remember it's made in 2015 your jaw simply falls. There's 4 billion gadgets in this game, and you use every one of them in all kind of situations. Fighting system is simply a sandbox, where you can do incredible things. Graphics and design just don't need any words, zoom anywhere and you'll find a bunch of trash, spider web or something. Design of the game overall is wow. Npcs not just standing or walking around, they talking all the time, they breaking the store window, punching some car, shooting in the air. Game contains lots of costumes for batman, plenty of em for robin and couple for other characters. Not just made up costumes, but from tv shows or movies appearance mostly. Lots of batmobile skins. But there is a lot of boring stuff on the map, like Riddler's puzzles or stels missions, but it's also done smart, firstly because you can beat Riddler's people and they tell you locations of couple puzzles, second because almost every puzzle is different. No, i mean there's a group of puzzles with the ball, couple with saving dudes from their head explosion, couple with other concept. Overall, if you played this game and thought it was bad, download miles morales.    … Expand

    I was preparing myself just in case there was some nod from Gotham Knights to its predecessor. AK has a good mix of classic Batman mythos and gritty ruthless Gotham. My only issues were of course the tedious riddler busy work for the true ending scene. Characters felt like they should be around to help Batman and they aren't helpful to the greater threat at hand. Some character logic wasI was preparing myself just in case there was some nod from Gotham Knights to its predecessor. AK has a good mix of classic Batman mythos and gritty ruthless Gotham. Some character logic was off and the bat family is an after thought when some of them can use closure. I think the thing that all games that go this open city route suffer from the most is continuing to make citizens nonexistent. It works for this game because of the destruction. However if Rocksteady can not be afraid of adding them in for SucideSquad or any other DC games it would be more immersive. If it can work for every Spider-man game it can work for a DC superhero game.

    Combat and maneuverability are good for its era, graphics set the BAR!
    I'm playing in 2022 on Epic and it runs amazing, only had 2 bugs. 1 I had to restart the game cause it froze, and 2 I got stuck leaping onto something and couldn't move out of the animation.    … Expand

    Turning up the grit to justify that M-rating, Batman's leap to the 8th generation of consoles (you know, which this PC port is based from) is matched with an even bigger map, scope, daring storytelling and addicting, polished gameplay.

    Great story and amazing gameplay, this is definitely the best arkham game. However, the only things that hold the game back from being a 10 are the forced batmobile sections and the poor optimisation on PC.

    Yes, the batmobile is quite annoying. Well, not the car - but the fact that the devs are constantly forcing us to use it.

    Otherwise, the game has held the quality of previous installments. Story is a bit basic, and the enemies are as well - but that's what DC is known for.

    All in all, worth a play - at least for the reason to finish a trilogy.

It get's really monotonous after a while, even with the harder tank variations. Finally the amazing cast of the game delivered amazing performances, from Gordon to Scarecrow and of course Conroy's Batman. Play it. It's worth the time invested.… Expand

    Плюсы:
    + Графика. Это одна из самых красивых игр 2015 года. Все, конечно, помнят дикие проблемы с оптимизацией на выходе, что    Batman Arkham Knight - Последняя часть квадралогии Arkham. Для меня это лучшая игра про Бэтмэна. Она конечно же не без недостатков, поэтому стоит пойти по порядку. В этой игре, как обычно, присутствуют минусы и плюсы. Но также присутствует и один спорный момент
    Плюсы:
    + Графика. Это одна из самых красивых игр 2015 года. Все, конечно, помнят дикие проблемы с оптимизацией на выходе, что даже издатель убрал игру из стима примерно на полгода. Но сейчас этих проблем нет, и игра смотрится просто суперски и с хорошей оптимизацией.
    + Геймплей. Это часть является квинтэссенцией всего самого лучшего из предыдущих частей. К сожалению, кое-что профукали, но в целом, геймплей в этой игре очень разнообразный.
    + Бэтмобиль. Мне понравилось кататься на нём, танковые бои и разнообразные гоночки очень радуют и совсем не напрягают, многие говорят, что бэтмобиля слишком много и он перетягивает геймплей на себя, но мне так не показалось.
    + Финал истории. Сюда входит не весь сюжет, так как он меня слегка разочаровал, а именно финал всей истории Бэтмэна. Весь этот момент ты сидишь с открытым ртом. Это очень круто, эпично, а режиссёрская постановка тянет на уровень высокобюджетного фильма.
    + Джокер. Вся психоделика, связанная с ним просто суперская. Очень круто всё сделано. Сильно описать не смогу, так как это спойлеры.
    Спорный момент:
    +- Сюжет. Он очень хороший, даже был бы лучшим в серии, если бы не один конфуз
    - Боссы. Вот это главное упущение этой игры. Во всех предыдущих частях были просто офигенные битвы с боссами, но тут все боссы какие-то однообразные, одним словом: никакие. Это печально.
    - Дополнительные задания. Их довольно много, и некоторые из них довольно интересные, но в целом, это просто зачистка точек, сбор трофеев, и повторение одних и тех же действий. Не сказать, что это прям ужасно, но могли сделать и получше.
    ИТОГ: Для меня это лучшая часть из всей квадралогии. Хоть она получит оценку и ниже, чем Arkham City, но почему я тогда считаю её лучшей? Объективно, она уступает кое в чём Arkham City, поэтому многие люди считают лучшей частью квадралогии именно сити, но для меня всё-таки рыцарь остаётся лучшим. Тут ты чувствуешь весь накал страстей, сюжет здесь намного тяжелей для восприятия, и несмотря на один ужасный момент, описанный выше, он был бы лучшим. Игра более масштабная, и несмотря на то, что я поругал дополнительные задания, мне все равно нравится их выполнять, даже унылые зачистки точек. Здесь есть всё, что не хватало сити и другим частям. Лучшая игра про супергероя.

    after 7 years it is still cool. best ending for the arkham games. side quests are so vary and graphic is perfect. details are crazy and make you observe the view of gotham city for hours

    Happy that this game is using the advantage of an open world envirovment, unlike going throuh sewers all the time, which sucked in the older games...
    The tank fights become a bit exhausting further in the game.
    Wish the other batmobiles could have been used in the story (The tumbler is armed)
    The story is good.
    Combat improved.

    The biggest weakness of all is the "tank feeling" when playing with the batmobile: too much batmobile, ugly gameplay....

The game finally lets you play around with the BatMobile. The first few missions are good and then it quickly becomes a chore making the Batmobile boring and overused.     An absolute masterpiece, loved the story so much. Batman is a badass and the combat system is just so much fun. I didn't feel bored at any point at this game. I've already played through 2 times and planning one doing one or many more. Totally recommended!

    One of the best games ever created and the most underrated one for sure, which every piece made by ultra-talented team with a passion to details. Plot, riddles, vibe of the city, complexity of levels, batmobile, few ending, tons of secrets etc. Played it a half year after release and it was pretty well optimized, also recompleted in 2020 at 100% and really wish it lasts even longer (as youOne of the best games ever created and the most underrated one for sure, which every piece made by ultra-talented team with a passion to details.     I played this game without problems when it was released so again a review bombed game which is pretty good, Batmobile gameplay 10/10 and a great closing to a legendary series of games.

    What could of been a good game is turned into in absolute mess with forcing you to use the batmobile for such a large percentage of the game. Unfortunately this overuse of the batmobile turns a good game into a bad one. Arkham Knight really shines when on foot but in the batmobile it really suffers.

In GTA you try not to deliberately run over pedestrians, unless you're a psychopath. And there are consequences for doing it frequently (cops come after you).     Arkham Knight adds the Batmobile; a really fun way to get around the world which introduces a new way of combat and puzzle solving. Overall I did enjoy what the Batmobile added to the game, although one gripe I did have with the Batmobile was how finnicky the controls could be at times.

    However, Arkham Knight feels like one step forward, two or three steps backward, as it seems that Rocksteady sacrificed some of the best parts of the previous two games for the Batmobile. Gone are the boss fights and environmental puzzles using Batman's utility belt tools are almost completely gone to be replaced by Batmobile puzzles. While the Batmobile puzzles will tickle the brain, they are never difficult enough to illicit an Eureka moment, something which the previous games constantly succeed in achieving. It is a shame that I could count the number of times I had to use tools like the line launcher in the entire game on one hand.

    Story-wise, Arkham Knight succeeds at tying a nice bow on the trilogy. The main villain, the Arkham Knight is downright intimidating right from his first appearance and provides a first in the series, an equal to batman's tactical acumen and fighting prowess. On the other hand, Scarecrow is a perfect foil to the Arkham Knight's brawn as the game's secondary antagonist. While the Arkham Knight comes off as rash and even perhaps, angsty, Scarecrow exudes cunning and control. It is a testament to how well-written Scarecrow is that he is able to illicit fear in the main characters and the audience in every single scene he is in. Overall, I loved how well the Arkham Knight's story was fleshed out and Batman's story was closed.

    Despite my criticisms about the lack of boss fights and the over-emphasis on the Batmobile, Arkham Knight is a fun game, albeit a deeply flawed one. I would still highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the previous two games. For everyone else, well, it does make you feel like batman.    … Expand

    Despite the rocky launch the game has become an absolute masterpiece filmeditie with meaningful and badass moments. The story is just nothing but amazing and the sidemissions are a blast. Great graphics also add to the gritty and dark gotham city. I have nothing but good recommendations to give about this game that everyone should experience.

    It's an amazing game and almost everything was perfect but the batmobile was overused and the boss fights were so **** bad, it made me so disappointed. I would give this game a 10/10 if it didn't overuse the batmobile and if it had good boss fights.

    I think they spent too much focus on the batmobile tbh.The game was great but Two face, Penguin and Fire fly was disappointing. It was the same side missions over and over til you got to the final one. Which was about a cinematic. To get the ENDING, i should have collected all of the reward trophies. Like bruh, that would tave take so long.

    Muy divertido. Poco mas puedo decir. Realmente te sientes en las botas del caballero oscuro. La jugabilidad es increible y la historia aguanta el tipo. Aun asi hacia el final lo acabe dejando. No se muy bien por que.

    Я не буду вдаваться в спойлеры, поэтому скажу, что сюжет мне очень понравился, в этом помогли и пару интересных сюжетных поворотов (но некоторые к несчастью очевидны). Геймплей во многом остался тем же, ты всё также отрубаешь преступников по стелсу, также ломаешь их рёбра в бою, но с новыми гаджетами эпичными приёмами, делать это ещё приятней. Ещё добавили БЭТМОБИЛЬ! Ох, как же весело было уничтожать всё и вся на нём... да... Добавили его не только ради нового геймплея, но и потому, что тебе теперь даётся три больших острова, по которым на старом добром плаще пришлось бы очень долго передвигаться.
    Возвращаясь к сюжету, многие жалуются на получение концовки, для которой придётся пройти игру на 100%. Проходя эти дополнительные миссии вы только откроете для себя ещё больше контента из игры, за которую вы отдали свои кровные. Но тут не без греха. Есть тут немного гринда. Зачистка вышек, уничтожение бомб, всё это надоедает, особенно тем, кто пришёл только за сюжетом.
    По итогу можно сказать, что БЭТМЕН: РЫЦАРЬ АРКХЕМА - это отличная игра, которая упала в пропасть из-за плохой оптимизации и трудностей с получением истинной концовки игры.    … Expand

    Лучшая игра серии Batman:Arkham от умельцов из Рокстеди, да и сама серия является образцом игр про супергероев.
    Достойное завершение трилогии о Бэтмене, ибо сюжет в игре мое почтение, очень мрачный и проработанный Готем, бесподобные погодные эффекты, годный БЕТСмобиль, хотя управляется криво до сих пор.
    Одна из лучших боевок, что я когда-либо видел, куча гаджетов и приемов, хотите красиво и эффектно устранять бандитов, задрачивая 15 кнопок сразу, то вам сюда.

    Поставил игре 9 баллов, ибо она того заслуживает.

    Siempre que hay un juego que incluya a Batman muy probablemente lo jugaré, pero este juego en la versión de PC no esta del todo bien, me da uno que otro problemilla pero es jugable, la historia es buena, las misiones secundarias también, los coleccionables, como en todos los juegos, apestan.
    Me gustó pero sin duda pudo ser mejor.
    80% recomendable.

The game telegraphs the ending from the very beginning.

    Perhaps the game should have just settled on being a car combat game, like Twisted Metal, instead of trying to force itself into the Arkham series, which failed completely.    … Expand

    The game is a amazing batman game that kind of wraps up rocksteady's trilogy of games. The gameplay is awesome because ita been refined so much and there's so many ways to take down thugs. The graphics, story, and music are all fantastic.

The story is good and immersive from start to finish. There is something that I cant spoil that makes it enjoyable and is a good twist or idea. Alone this makes the game better and I was most entertained. However the Arkham Knight was disappointing. When you have even a little knowledge you think about who he could be and make a conclusion that it could not be a certain character as it would be much too obvious, a letdown and boring. It was that character and they advertised the Arkham Knight as something special and mysterious. The addition that we all were hyped for was the Batmobile. While being firstly satisfying and awesome it gets soon boring and repetitive. After a while you want to skip using it. Then there is the true ending. You have too solve all Riddlers trophies to get it. It is a waste of time as there are over 200 and I as nearly all others don't have the patience to do this. Luckily there is YouTube for this. The gameplay is rock solid or stays at the formula of the Arkham games and the stealth and free flow combat system is satisfying. You get also new gadgets that are satisfying. Warning: Some can be missed or skipped. The graphics are ranging from good to truly awful in this game. While I am the person that defends poor graphics when the gameplay is good this time it is also a letdown. The soundtrack is O.K. Overall this game was a mess and should be avoided. You can get a far better experience on PS4 and XBOX ONE.… Expand

From boss fights, batmobile garbage, riddler puzzles, freaking rc batarang, tank battles and others it's just way too frustrating for the casual player even on easy. A trainer really helps and to see the real ending, which requires 243 riddler challenges, just go online and watch. I found theHave to say this is a pretty good, but frustrating for casual players. I found the Azrael missions unrealistic, even batman can't do what he asks az to do in the challenges, never get touched against 12 enemies? skipped that garbage. If it's on easy at least scale it to that retards. The firefly missions are ok but with the forced batmobile chases it's also a frustrating slog, the batmobile handles terribly and the game gets super laggy while driving around at high speed making it even more frustrating. Also switch to toggle mode for the batmobile battle mode to not kill your trigger finger if you're on a controller. Story is ok if very predictable at a certain point, the Joker is well done but the premise is so annoying, yes you will have losses fighting evil but does that mean it's bad to fight evil? Real people would understand instead of beating on the good guy, hopefully but there are a lot of idiots in the world. Batman is a masonic tool, just like all this superhero stuff is just masonic doctrine disguised, satan disguised as lucifer. Masons themselves are just a disguised tool of the international gangsters I can't name explicitly because of their ownership of most things in this world.

    --Graphically beautiful but very dark and muddy brown looking, could be better. Rain effects probably help this to be still a hard game to achieve 60 fps consistently. Have to really tweak the settings if you are not on the last generation or so of gpu/cpu.

    --Too much going on on the streets, it's so annoying and overwhelming.

    ---LET ME TURN OFF THE OBNOXIOUS BANTER on the streets you're forced to listen to, really needed audio options broken up, this is the same for all the open world arkham games.

    --DLC levels are mostly one level of brawling, not much substance. Even the Family DLC is not much but is the best one of the separate ones. The in game DLC with the other major super villains is worth it.

    --I recommend it if you have the patience to deal with the problems mentioned above. It is the most all encompassing game of the Arkham series but if you haven't played the other ones go for those first, they're cheaper and better. Look for this on sale.    … Expand

    Very good game which closes the Arkham trilogy, quite quick to complete (around 30 hours to finish the main quest with a lot of side quests), but overall remains very good graphically and scripturally.

    I'm playing in 2020 with a high end rig so I guess the former issues that plagued the PC port dont really apply anymore (I did suffer some fps drops quite a few times though). Nevertheless, the story and combat is absolutely fantastic. I felt the game leaned heavily on what made Asylum such a fantastic success (similar villains, themes, surprises) but that isn't a bad thing.     The end of the trilogy. The story reach the highest point of all the saga and the gameplay improve some things. The optional missions are good and interesting. The car is overused and it's not that fun, but the game make us use it for half game and at the end you can't stand that thing anymore.

    This is a Batman game that has improved the franchise's gameplay completely. The combat system is the same but constantly challenges players with new enemies and gadgets, also you can drive an actual Batmobile that can be used both in combat and traveling.

    It wouldn't be an open-world game if it didn't have repetitive locations. This game is no different, the map is swarmed with millions of repetitive question marks that feel tiring and annoying. However traveling across the map is fun thanks to the added Batmobile and an improved grappling hook mechanics.

    The story is mostly based on a comic book called Under the Red Hood, which is among the best Batman stories ever made. Characters are well presented and match their comic book versions almost perfectly but ironically Batman is the one that feels less like his comic book self, in the game he sounds like a robot and I cannot see anything else in him other than being a hero with no faults.

    Overall it's a game that lets players experience what Batman does in movies and comic books and with the amazing detailed city of Gotham I can say for sure that this is one of the best superhero games ever.    … Expand

    A sequel that went the wrong way. I played all previous games and this one is tiring. I could not believe that but I felt tired of playing it. Too much of the same and new things that are not enjoyable. All Batman vibe has gone.

    Bought it on Steam Sale after looking a long time for something which i might like and well i have most of the good stuff already so it was not easy. Thought let's try this one. Fights itself are fun, the story seemed quite good, but after the first batmobile challenge i quite and i don't think i'll start it up again. Maybe i'm too stupid to finish the challenge.     New batmobile gameplay is good, I wish it would be less frequent though, graphics are ok however I have low performance on city traveling.
    Anyway, every level is carefully designed, story is good, with too many unfortunate deaths, everything else just lived up to a good batman game.

    Story is also an improvement that explores Bruce Wayne's psyche, with an interesting ending that I enjoyed. The plot however drags a little towards the middle-end of the game, but still enjoyable.

    Back on 2015 this game was to me one of the best looking games at the time and they're still very good today. Had no issues whatsoever running this game on a GTX1660ti however the frame rate does drop bellow 60 fps frequently while using the batmobile, which is one of the complaints I have with this game.

    Combat is even better and engaging with new moves enemies and all gadgets from previous games still usable here and a few new ones. Stealth sections are also improved with bigger maps, more places to hide and more ways to take down enemies. The batmobile pursuits and city traversal are engaging but the batmobile combat is not as fun as the developers though it would be .

    My main complaints with this game are the side missions and boss fights. A lot of the side missions are very repetitive and gameplay mechanics used over and over again without any new twists or ideas which makes me believe they were designed in a "lazy" way. Boss fights are some of the worst when compared to other boss fights in the Arkham series and in any other game honestly. Lazy no fun design with repetitive ideas, excessive use of batmobile when fighting Batman villains that should be fought in regular hand-to-hand combat!

    I recomend this game to anyone curious to try it and even more to anyone that played previous arkham games, as even though it fails considerably in some key-aspects it gets pretty much right in everything else.    … Expand

    this is without a doubt a well-made game, made to make batman fans happy with all the skins and easter eggs/references. yet it could have been a little better. most of Gotham abandons the city and criminals walk the streets, but still, there could have been mom-captive civilians. not in the streets obviously, but in balconies, roofs and other secluded places free of thugs. and 99.99% ofthis is without a doubt a well-made game, made to make batman fans happy with all the skins and easter eggs/references. yet it could have been a little better. most of Gotham abandons the city and criminals walk the streets, but still, there could have been mom-captive civilians. not in the streets obviously, but in balconies, roofs and other secluded places free of thugs. and 99.99% of all goons and other enemies (not counting supervillains) to fight are men. it is hard to believe the entire normal criminal population is made up of just men. and the presence of cats and dogs would have also added more realism.

    the combat and exploration gameplay is pretty much the same as previous games, with the exception of the batmobile, which I didn't think it was a groundbreaking addition, but I was wrong, both figuratively and literally. maybe too many riddle puzzles easter eggs if you ask me.

    and finally, the DLC stories. they are great. they could release future Arkham sequels and prequels in this style, with many smaller mission maps, some being linear and others being small sandboxes, allowing for different styles of exploration and fighting. the first two or three stories are short, but all of them are worth playing.    … Expand

    That Christmas I bowed to the wife’s pressure and we got one. He loved it and enjoyed playing with it, and now I know I was wrong. That was until a month later when the batteries where low. In a scene that reminded me of the invasion of the body snatchers, it opened its eyes and screeched until it slowly died. I was scared and it was only missing a hand to raise its finger and point. My 6-year-old son screamed in terror and threw it away.

    Batman: Arkham Knight reminds me of that moment.

    I heard all the reviews all the spouting about it being a bad port but still wanted to play it. I knew the fears but still thought that I might be able to fix any technical issues, I am fair well versed so was quietly confident.
    From the beginning, I had every issue under the sun, flickering, low frame rates, mouse problems, high memory issues, and even having to sit through the introduction screen every minute as I reloaded. I tried every fix the internet gave me but nothing worked fully.
    The background flickered enough to give a blind man a seizure.
    Batman looked like a porcupine on steroids.
    And even closing the game brought issues over into my os.

    But I managed to play a little and in those small moments when the game managed to hold it together long enough. Oh what joy, speaking as batman, descending into the city and rough play with the locals as we sang and danced together. Such delightful memories!
    Fantastic levels of intuitive gameplay, the batman fighting system is so great it hard to put into words as you remember the glories of its lineages. It’s not a bad port, however, it does suffer from extremely bad coding issues, with no sign of being fixed anytime soon.
    Even still gameplay got so bad I couldn’t see the NPCs and it felt like fighting in the dark… And I cried and screamed like a frightened 6-year-old boy… I threw it all in and uninstalled it in a stroppy temper.

    The moral of the story, Rocksteady Studios is the fathers prejudiced. Blindly trying to develop the most visually stunning game that is currently possible without though of any value. Sure the graphics are fantastic but at the cost of bad coding and ostracising lower end pcs. Forgetting for a moment about the serious coding issues, this puts the whole common ethos of modern developers and clearly marks it as WRONG. It’s called PC gaming not PC benchmark testing, and sometimes in over-exuberance, they forget this and create the monstrous “Arkham Knight” effect. A game designed to look great without any thought if gamers can actually play it.

    Sadly the only thing that remains is to take out the batteries and leave it to go dusty in the attic. Rocksteady is working to fix this and it must have been a huge issue to take this long. But only time will if this will a horror movie … imagine Furby 2: The Revenge. I shudder to think.    … Expand

    Regardless of its performance on pc at its release date and evaluating the game itself. In my opinion, the best of the arkham saga. New gadgets, new outfit, the Batmobile is amazing, a good story and a Gotham full of secrets and collectibles. Recommended.

    Amazing narration. Wonderful graphics. Good gameplay.
    Despite its launch problems, it is a must-play batman game, with a lot of plot twists and some strong action sequences.

    Love this game. Best game of the whole franchise. Amazing graphics, many gadgets you can use in a fight and while exploring around, you feel what badass batman really is. Rocksteady fixed the game and i recommend it now

    Playing as Batman? Awesome. Playing as Batman through repetitive, empty missions? Less awesome. Playing as the Batmobile? Awful.

    Porting issues aside, Batman: Arkham Knight is a decent enough game. It's not the spectacular swansong we hoped for from Rocksteady, but it's another solid - if predictable - slice of Arkham gameplay, with a couple of great sections along the way.
