ArnoldW.Apr 2, 2007This is a not a game for joystick junkies. But if you like the strategy of building a team, and the strategy of calling plays and picking pitches, this is the best baseball game you can buy.

ChrisW.Apr 11, 2008This game is sweet and underrated. People give it low scores because it doesn't have any graphics. This game is for the mentally inclined that can see the game through numbers and not just some graphics. I am a die hard baseball mogul fan till the day I kick the bucket.

Stay away from this game if you’re new to the series, and try to find yourself a copy of "Front Page Sports Baseball" or even "High Heat Baseball." I would recommend High Heat Baseball 2002 for your PC baseball simulation needs. Not only was the simulation aspect remarkable, but you could actually play the game as well.

Combining the stats demanded by baseball gearheads with great ease of use, Baseball Mogul 2008 hits the ball and touches 'em all.

While there's lots for baseball junkies to manage in their hunt for Steinbrenner-like control, errors littered around the game weaken the experience. But if you're more concerned with how a player hits against a right-handed pitcher over 5'10" at dusk with a full moon, this one's for you.
