Baseball Mogul 2008 hits a homer for gamers who sit in the stands with a scorecard and keep track of every foul ball. However, unless they're part of that very specific group, which there are legions, this baseball sim will likely be as much fun as watching the infield grass grow.
-
While there's lots for baseball junkies to manage in their hunt for Steinbrenner-like control, errors littered around the game weaken the experience. But if you're more concerned with how a player hits against a right-handed pitcher over 5'10" at dusk with a full moon, this one's for you.
-
If you are someone like me, who takes baseball really seriously and follows their favorite team closer than anyone else you know, then I would strongly recommend this game.
-
The game promises the a lot but in the end, absolutely fails to deliver any kind of entertaining experience.

ColinM.Feb 13, 2008Much easier than rivals. A good introduction to the baseball GM genre. Troubled AI can make the game easy however.
