    This user score should be way higher, 7.1 is absolute BS. Anyone seriously thinks Mafia 1 remake was better than this? Game that had absolutely empiest open world ever? Hell no. And by the way i like Mafia 1 for what it is, but it's not even comparable to AC Valhalla.

    I think i know what it is. Not that many people really cared about mafia, so it didn't attract that many haters and it was easy to get mafia user score to normal, but AC is very popular, so of course it attracted haters. But it's absolute injustice, because this game is very good and it's literally ONLY ps4 game as of right now that is ACTUALLY GOOD, but has low user score. Every other ps4 game has normal scores, so it's very important to get this user score to normal, because it's one of the best games of 2020. For sony it's easy, i literally witnessed how fake asian reviews got Demon's Souls Remake to over 500 positive 10/10's in one day.
    But ubisoft and other companies doesn't have that asian army that upvotes their games, they rely on actual fans.    … Expand

    Hands down best video game of November 2020. After playing it over 30 hours i could actually held debates about why it's so good and i would win each one of these easily. Nothing beats it from November line-up. But not only that, it's good even in general 2020 gaming terms. To me it's in same boat with Doom Eternal and Final Fantasy VII Remake, all very different games, but i have veryHands down best video game of November 2020. After playing it over 30 hours i could actually held debates about why it's so good and i would win each one of these easily. Nothing beats it from November line-up.     There were many hateful nerds on youtube making hate videos on this game and were hoping it to fail and they had most iditotic reasonings ever. Like one youtuber said that choosing between male and female character is not enough? Kidding me? You should be happy you can choose your character. If anything you should whine about this stuff to Rockstar not Ubisoft. Oh wait?     Assassin's Creed Valhalla plays best on PC, but i'm sure it also runs well on next-gen consoles.
    I personally own only PC and PS4 versions. Very good game.

    One of the best games i have played in 2020, it has two big maps and then some more, but i don't wanna spoil. It's worth it.

    What a great game, it has been so fking long when i actually enjoyed a game, specially AC game lol. Odyssey was trash, but this is good. More of this please.

    I'm blown away by graphics and variety of locations this game offers. Honestly might be one of my favorites of 2020. Hopefully dlc's are good as base game.

    Great game, but just a reminder, YES you can play it on 2013 consoles, however....
    You can't expect best graphics/fps, etc. You just can't, it's 2020 game, i'm sorry to break it to you, but it's time upgrade. If you really wanna play it on ps4 then ps4pro is your best option.

    Surprisingly very good. Better than Odyssey, and just as good as Origins imo. Ubisoft combined some aspects of the old ACs and the new ones, and it works nicely. Great game, very nice :)

    Very good Ubisoft, more of this please! Finally Assassin's Creed that feels like Assassin's Creed taking elements from Black Flag, Unity, Origins and then making it something new at the same time. Hell yea.

    Norway and England are nice, other locations took me by surprise because i thought that it only had two big map, but there's more. Very well done.

Now, if you are someone who has not really enjoyed any AC games since AC 3, take my advice and i mean it, please just give up this series, it's clearly not for you. But to other millions of fans who have played and enjoyed this series past 7 years i would recommend this! All the classic elements like hood, hidden blade, one shot assassinations are back. They removed all the grind from Odyssey, you get 2 skill-points at the time and it's very easy to get them. Story is interesting, characters are likable, graphics look incredible.     in 2011-2012 i always knew that something called "Assassin's Creed" existed, but it never really interested me, i simply didn't care about it. My favorite games were GTA 4, Max Payne 3, Alan Wake, Skyrim, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Red Dead Redemption, stuff like that. But when Assassin's Creed 4 came out late 2013, that was first time i actually got interested. They innovated so much within 2011-2012 i always knew that something called "Assassin's Creed" existed, but it never really interested me, i simply didn't care about it. More i played it, more i liked it, i started looking up historical facts about that era, etc. First time ever I really liked Assassin's Creed game and from then on i have been huge fan. Yeah Unity had awful launch, but they pretty much fixed it in first 2 months and i almost hate that people bring it up all the time, because so many games have had absolutely awful launch, but they never get so much whining, maybe it was because AC is so popular idk. Either way Unity has best parkour of the series and graphics that still impress me today. Odyssey was kind of mistake imo, because story was meh and it grindy. Now Valhalla fixed it all and bring back stuff i loved from Black Flag and parkour elements from Unity. Overall Valhalla is very good AC game and better than last two.… Expand

I think any reasonable person would do that before paying 60 dollars. I would never but Marvel's Avengers, already knowing that i will hate it and then gonna give it 0/10. Makes no sense.     Positives so far: Graphics, Story, Likable Characters, Open-world, Variety of Enemies, Secrets, Classic Assassin elements are back.
    Negatives/Could be better: Needs some improvements, but overall very solid, specially after patch 1.0.4 that fixed lots of issues for me.

    Can anyone get more bitter than someone who played Assassin's Creed back in 2012, haven't cared for past 7 games and still tries to hate it and pretend that he/she is actually fan?     Story - 8.9 /10 (depends on missions, some are really good, some are meh, just like in any other video game)
    Main hero/Voice acting - 9/10

    Never cared for Odyssey, Valhalla is so much better. No grind as far as i can tell and game is actually interesting this time. You get 2 skill points for basically every mission you complete. Power level goes up fast enough. If someone think this is boring, i'm sure you will your "FUN" out of games like last of us part II.

    I finished Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate and Origins while preparing for this and it's so enjoyable so far. Story hooked me from the beginning and i love sailing in Norway, super relaxing. Combat is very brutal this time.

    This game has been massive success and most real AC fans seem to like it very much, so it's kinda hilarious and sad at the same time to read comments like "this game sucks, why is this user score so high" or some similar nonsense that someone who only plays last of us 2 could come up with.     Norway / England have been created pretty well in this game and some other locations too.
    So far 50 hours in and i love it.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
