Nov 1, 2017Tanking performance to "protect" a game from being cracked is inexcusable. I will change my review after Ubisoft have decided to take out Denuvo and allow the game to be played to its fullest potential.

Nov 3, 2017Essentially, the game is a nerfed down version of assassins creed brotherhood. they removed every good thing i liked about the assassins creed games. that includes dual hidden blades, assassin recruits, simplicity of gear, limited but rewarding missions, emphasis on stealth and above all combat system. i am not even sure to buy an assassin creed game in the future. very disappointed.

Nov 1, 2017I liked what i played, but I don't think a game which can't be played without risking your computer with well above the minimum requirements is worthy more than a 1 score.
And people who has good computers should not forgive them this fact. -
Nov 1, 2017I started an account only to write this - PC performance is terrible. You have i5? Expect FPS drops like crazy. Because of Denuvo + VMProtect used on this game you need a beast of a CPU to handle this. Up to this point there is silence from UBI on the matter of performance. DRM protections won't probably get taken out of the game so... 0. You have a i5 - dont buy this game!
-
Oct 31, 2017Two DRM layers ( 3 with uplay ) and killing that game performance, so not caring about the customer. Well, whatever is the game itself seem great, that's just a no no.
-
Nov 5, 2017well .... you know .... If this game where made by some one else with less budget ... I would say its ok .. & of course it looks great... But... When you have such a great example like CD Project Red ... With Witcher series ...Ubi makes me cry ...especially when we consider the potential power of this company ... 5/10 ....
-
Oct 31, 2017We have deal with horrible performance due to drm, first on steam, then, uplay, then Denison and then VMware, running a virtual windows environment so the game can’t be pirated. Guess what Ubisoft. We bought this game and don’t deserve to be treated like thieves!!!

Oct 10, 2022Good game, that got some usual nonsensical hate for whatever reason. Beautiful open world, solid story, lots of cool locations. Would recommend.
-
Sep 27, 2022It's actually the most thought out Assassins game since the second. Everything is well crafted and has meaning, and there is a lot of content to get into, not so much to get repetitive.
-
Sep 27, 2022Truly one of the best in the AC franchise. Ubisoft masterfully captured the Ancient Egypt setting and made the whole experience so immersive and engaging. Bayek's character development throughout the game is amazing. Easily takes 2nd place behind Ezio in terms of best characters in AC.

Sep 16, 2021It's not Assassin's Creed. Just a boring, generic, lifeless RPG with grinding and microtransaction.

Sep 16, 2019Both the open world and the combat system have seen massive improvements over previous titles. The story keeps you interested most of the time. I'm personally stoked for Odyssey, but that's mainly because I take a deep interest in ancient Greece.
-
Oct 15, 2018the best way to improve ac's gameplay. another story then the previous ones, although i think AC Brotherhood is better.

Feb 13, 2019Simply amazing! Amazingly big world, loads of quest, great story and characters and awesome skill tree. Don't listen to the enemy level sceptics, it is not a problem at all. I have played 67 hours, and have like 20 side missions left.

Nov 14, 2019Im glad that they rebuild AC formula in this game - especially fighting mehanics. Egipt looks amazing :) And suprislingly game runs very good on my Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop, which was not obvious on the beginiing.

Sep 27, 2019The most beautiful looking Assassin's Creed ever and AMAZING GamePlay. There are minor bugs and glitches, but in a game THIS SIZE, yo uwould ahve to be a complete **** to call out Ubisoft for them. By far one of the best Assassin's Creed games made, and a wonderful expirience
-
Dec 9, 2019Amazing Game, Amazing Story, Amazing Character. This game always be a Masterpiece
-
Mar 30, 2018Beautiful game, BORING world, ZERO detail, side quest farm and so on. If you want to play a real open world game rich with story and details then kingdom come deliverance is much much much better.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 2, 2018The resurrection of the seemingly exhausted series was successful. Beautiful and enormous Egypt is complemented by the sympathetic hero Bayek and plenty of modifications to the proven formula. [Issue#280]

Jan 2, 2018This killer holiday in Egypt is definitely no boring. On the contrary, it is a pleasant excursion to the times, when the sphinx had a nose, and mysterious killers did not call themselves assassins. You cannot find a nicer version of an Ancient Egypt in any other game, and up to it it’s entertaining. A modest family story affects the whole empire at the end, and you will forgive a handful of bugs to its charismatic heroes, as well as the fact, that you have played the same pattern so many times, just in another scenery.
-
Game World Navigator MagazineDec 30, 2017Ubisoft Montreal managed to make Egypt not only beautiful, but extremely atmospheric. When you’re admiring the city and a mounted patrol rushes past you, you always get that urge to step aside to avoid getting trampled, even though you know you can eviscerate them all in a blink of an eye.
