    This game is definitely not better than Odyssey or Valhalla. It's a very boring and repetitive game with an incredibly boring main character. It's one of those games that I can't get into and can't play, even though I've been trying for years.

    I always loved Ancient Egypt. This game makes a perfect job of keeping me interested in exploring every corner of the map. It is my favorite AC Game from the newer "AC RPG Games".(81 Hours and 100% Completion)

    Just more of the same, like most ARPGS. Not much fun. Zelda ToTK however, as a good comparison, is very innovative how to control the environment differently instead of just pressing buttons.

    Это бесконечная гриндилка лвл'а и вещей, сюжет нулевый, персонажи ( кроме исторических постатей) нулевые и не интересные, ии тупейший, бойовка откровенно слабая.
    Из плюсов только дизайн игры и взаимодействие с историческими личностями    не рекомендую ассассинс крид истоки людям, которые ценят свое время.

    Assassin's Creed Origins is fantastic to me. Egypt looks incredible, and the game's other parts are top-notch too. Bayek's story is gripping, and while the gameplay can be a bit repetitive, it's rarely boring.

    The game's near perfect. There are a lot of things to do in this big wonderful world. You have a main quest that leads you trough nearly the whole map and in almost every part of the map you have multiple side quests to do. The story elements are good enough for me 'cause my focus weren't the story. I liked to walk around and do things. Only thing that I didn't like were these three partsThe game's near perfect.     Dogturd level of optimization. Looks great, but it's already seven years old, and even modern hardware cannot handle it completely. (Probably due to multilayered invasive piracy protection, denuvo)
    I paid for this product yet I've been robbed during daylight, when a pirated version is completely stripped of denuvo runs much better with way less cpu usage, spikes and fps drops. Disgusting company.

    great game worth the money, great DLC worth the money, it took me less than 90 hours to complete the whole thing to 100% and I think that's the optimal time for a AAA game. The only thing I can complain about is the climbing mechanics, in Odyssey I played before Origins it was better

    Man startet direkt ins Spiel rein, sehr kleine Einführung ins Thema, kurze Szene und man ist direkt im Kampf und erhält ein Kampf-Toturial und man lernt nicht zehn Kämpfe lang immer mal wieder was Neues, finde ich echt spitze. Generell findet man sich sehr schnell zurecht, im Kampf, im Menü und in der Steuerung, sehr großer Plus-Punkt! Dann folgt man kurz jemandem, einem wird dieMan startet direkt ins Spiel rein, sehr kleine Einführung ins Thema, kurze Szene und man ist direkt im Kampf und erhält ein Kampf-Toturial und man lernt nicht zehn Kämpfe lang immer mal wieder was Neues, finde ich echt spitze. Generell findet man sich sehr schnell zurecht, im Kampf, im Menü und in der Steuerung, sehr großer Plus-Punkt! Dann folgt man kurz jemandem, einem wird die "Spielwiese" also die OpenWorld gezeigt und hat noch eine Storylastige Mission und dann darf man sich auch schon selber austoben, man bekommt eine Nebenquest, kann noch zwei weitere Nebenquests vom Tisch annehmen und kann entscheiden welche man macht. Es wird vorgeschalgen, dass man Mission X ab Stufe 3 und Mission Y ab Stufe 2 macht und dann kann man sie machen oder direkt ein paar Lager auseinander nehmen, d.h. Hauptmann töten und den Schatz bergen oder Aussichtspunkte synchronisieren. Man kann jederzeit mit V als Adler von oben alles auskuntschaften, d.h. den besten Eingang suchen, Hauptmann suchen, Tiere die Felle geben suchen und markieren und ihr habt für diese große OpenWorld ein Reittier, dass ihr mit Q rufen könnt und es kommt in 2-3 Sekunden zu euch vor die Füße geritten (in der Gold Edition hat man direkt 3). Als ich gehört habe, dass man nicht mehr im Anymus spielen muss (also in der Gegenwart mit Demond) habe ich direkt die Entscheidung gefällt mir mal wieder ein AC zuzulegen. Ich war von Black Flag sehr enttäuscht und habe die AC Reihe dann aufgegeben, habe aber gehört, dass es mit Syndicate wieder richtig bergauf ging und mir jetzt mal Origins angeguckt und direkt die Gold Edition gekauft, für 29€ im Sale echt spitze, man bekommt 8 Inhalte dazu, darunter ist der Season Pass mit 2 Story DLC´s und einen weiteren kleineren kann man sich mit den Ubiclub-Uplay Punkten im Ubisoft Launcher freischalten. (Den vorher von der Ubisoft Homepage ---> ganz unten graune Schrift auf schwarzem Hintergrund runterladen, installieren, anmelden oder registieren und das Spiel wird dann mit eurem Ubisoft-Konto synchronisiert, d.h. ihr habt es in Steam, spielt auch über Steam, habt die ganzen Vorteile wie den Hub, das Steam-Overlay, eure Steam-Freundesliste + Chats und ihr habt das Spiel zusätzlich in Uplay, worüber es gespielt wird, starten könnt ihr es über Steam.)… Expand

Now to gameplay, the gameplay is fine, I didn't like it at all because if an enemy is even one level above you you will get rekt but I got the game after the DLC and I got the    -The level grind is wayy too much

    ok so the story is just amazing, there are parts of it which are a bit boring tho, other times the story gets very interesting. Now to gameplay, the gameplay is fine, I didn't like it at all because if an enemy is even one level above you you will get rekt but I got the game after the DLC and I got the gold edition so I just boosted the level in the save file and did all the main missions, no grinding levels.
    The level system...ugh the amount of grind you would have to do in a normal playthrough

    Os gráficos do jogo são bonitos, cenários lindos de encher os olhos e mais legal ainda é que existe uma enorme variação deles. Os detalhes das armas, armaduras, do fogo, animais e npcs também são muito bons.     Houve alguma melhora na gameplay na movimentação, mas o combate achei muito mais chato que nos anteriores. Existe uma variação de armas, porém é muito claro quais armas são melhores que outras. Além disso existe o problema de sempre de poucas variações de tipos de inimigos pra se enfrentar. Basicamente 3 com variações de armas.

    O problema do jogo é o tamanho do mapa na minha opniao. Fizeram um mapa giagantesco, com muitos pontos de interesse no mapa, porém a maioria pra encher linguiça. È um ponto com tesouro escondido, um animal pra matar ou ponto com inimigos pra matar um líder + roubar um tesouro. Mas existem + de 600 desses pontos no jogo e + de 100 sidequests (sendo a maioria, buscar um item, matar alguém, devolver algo sem qualquer relação com as quests principais).

    A história apesar de ser divertida ela fica perdida num jogo imenso, com quests e coisas pra fazer no mapa com pouco ou nada a ver com a história principal. Demorei quase 80 horas pra pegar 100% considerando as DLCS. Que a proposito, vale muito a pena jogar as DLCs. Não tem uma história absurdamente incrivel mas são divertidas.

    Eu acho injusto uma nota media de 6.9 porque infelizmente a Ubisoft faz muita lambança nos lançamentos e hoje o jogo quase não apresenta nenhum problema. Mudou muito do estilo de jogo comparando com anteriores, mas ele é bom, divertido e mesmo podendo ser melhor em vários pontos é um bom jogo e se acha por menos de 40 reais atualmente com todas as DLCs e adicionais.    … Expand

    The Egyptian setting is very beautiful, a boring main character and most importantly. Even on a good PC the game runs poorly. Even in Valhalla, this game is still broken in 2023, while having a smooth experience at ultra.

    I kinda still liked this one. After the absolutely terrible Syndicate where it really felt like the concept of the "old" Assassin's Creed games was kinda done, I was happy to see them trying to mix things up. And I liked Origins for that, it was something new.

    The story was predictable but okay. I enjoyed it, it was mild entertainment. The levelling system however is a whole    I kinda still liked this one. After the absolutely terrible Syndicate where it really felt like the concept of the "old" Assassin's Creed games was kinda done, I was happy to see them trying to mix things up. And I liked Origins for that, it was something new.

    The story was predictable but okay. I enjoyed it, it was mild entertainment.

    The levelling system however is a whole different issue, which prevents me from giving this game a positive score. Story missions reward you with way too little XP, so you basically have to do side missions. And they are the most boring things you will ever play. They consist of item fetching from the other side of the map, killing five people etc etc. Repetative stuff.

    Overall, I think you should check this game out if you got nothing better to play. It is enjoyable.    … Expand

    this is the best game i ever play! amazing environment, physics, colours, sea battles, huge word and amazing to discover. iam into 150 hours and i just start Elysium (game pass) and that was surprise because i was start getting bored! is another game more exiting than the original! iam greek and be around greece is awesome! best game ever and i recommended to all

    Decent but unimpressive. Great looking game but the gameplay is boring. Story is OK, only the ending is any memorable. The people who created the world need a raise as Egypt looks gorgeous, those who populated it with boring side content need to get a new lead.

Сюжет стал немного лучше предыдущих частей, гринд стал более разнообразным. Но. Зачем создавать такой, действительно, огромный мир, если вы его не можете как следует насытить? То есть, конечно, заняться есть чем. Бесконечные "знаки вопроса", гробницы, аванпосты(привет, ФарКрай), святилища, побочные квесты. Это все можно, и к сожалению, нужно изучать, ведь иначе, тебя не подпустят к сюжету, ибо ты еще слишком мал уровнем, и будешь потеть как с*чка. И это изучение развлекает тебя, ну самый максимум, первые часов 10. После этого, градус унылости происходящего начинает нарастать с неумолимой скоростью. Все эти места, зачастую, одинаковы и однообразны, и потому попросту быстро надоедают. Что там по побочным квестам? Ну, я старался, но это прям халтура в чистом виде. Лишь десятая часть этих квестов может представлять хоть какой-либо интерес. Все остальное - тупые диалоги, идиотские задания, глупые истории. Ах, ну да, и в большинстве случаев, все сводиться к одному: Кто-то из властей ах*ел, и меджай идет выдать п*здюлей. Скучно, очень скучно. Вспоминаю побочки из третьего Ведьмака и рыдаю. Системы очень похожи, но в Ведьмаке, я боялся упустить хотя бы один квест, настолько они были увлекательны. Что там с сюжетом? Да норм. Ну. в смысле сойдет. Проблема тут в другом. Только 40% времени от силы, вы будете проходить этот сюжет. Все остальное время вам придется, повторяюсь, ПРИДЕТСЯ, изучать огромных размеров карту, половина из которой даже не используется в этом сюжете. И вообще хз, кого это может действительно увлечь. Что в итоге? В итоге, ставлю положительный отзыв, потому что Истоки, это определенно шаг вперед, после ничем незапоминающегося Юнити и мультяшного Синдиката. Жаль разве что шаг этот совсем небольшой, потому что Истоки, это даже не Блэк Флаг(который я, к слову, не люблю). Но, это хотя бы уже не Синдикат с Юнити. Верим в лучшее, господа, ищем хорошее.… Expand

    So, I will give a general overview of the title without going into the details of the Origins game.

    Although the game presents itself with all its flaws, I have to acknowledge Ubisoft for taking a considerable leap in the dark and successfully innovating a series which, however beautiful and appreciated, was at risk of falling into a repetitive pattern. In my opinion, the storytelling is also excellent, no longer solely focused on the assassins but also on the wider narrative of the series.

    While the various installments of the series, especially the last three, can be overwhelming due to their size, I must say that it offers breathtaking graphics that leave you speechless.    … Expand

    Just to the first moment that I started to play this game I get surprised, is a game that mix open world, very good graphics and the Egypt mythology. I give to the game a 10 because when I beat to the first boss, I get addicted to this game. Very recommendable

La historia arranca con fuerza decae a mitad del juego para cerrar de una manera digna. su principal punto debil es las secundarias a veces repetitivas. Es buen juego pero le faltó pulir varias cosas.

    Los mayores defectos que encontre fue una historia algo aburrida, realmente no me parece trascendente aunque no es mala, ademas de no tener tan buenas boss fights, fuera de eso, un mundo abierto bastante interesante, el mapa es bastante grande pero la exploracion es bastante satisfactoria en terminos del lore que encuentras en las locaciones y el loot, no se siente pesado el ir quitandoLos mayores defectos que encontre fue una historia algo aburrida, realmente no me parece trascendente aunque no es mala, ademas de no tener tan buenas boss fights, fuera de eso, un mundo abierto bastante interesante, el mapa es bastante grande pero la exploracion es bastante satisfactoria en terminos del lore que encuentras en las locaciones y el loot, no se siente pesado el ir quitando puntos del mapa, y al final del dia no es tan grande, con menos de 30 horas termine un 70% del mapa.
    El combate fluye bastante bien pero el sistema de loot me parece bastante generico, llega un punto en el que ya se vuelve irrelevante el buscar armas nuevas.
    Buen juego en general bastante divertido pero un poco tedioso al tratar de lograr un 100%.    … Expand

    Great game, a good return to the saga after two big disappointments [Unity and Syndicate], it has a good fighting system and with good animations, the setting is well done and arouses interest, but it fails in the RPG system, where basically if you have level your equipment is of no use, very large map that becomes very explorable but makes the open world adventure very difficult, Score: 7.9

It's basically all about killing scores and scores of people. There is little enemy variety, and strategy & tactics are simple. The game engine is very limited in what it allows you to do, so everything becomes repetitive. There is little item variety, so looting is largely pointless, as is discovery and exploration.

    There is this huge open world begging to be filled with content. And the world itself has a lot of variety. But what you can do in this world does not, and large parts of the map are pretty much empty.

    Midway through the game I really just wanted it to end, but I played on just in order to finish it and move on to other games.    … Expand

    What a great game, played it all the way through recently, graphics still hold up fine in late 2022, the setting (egypt) is beautiful it really gives you a sense of how it might have been, Bayec has a good character progression in this game, the story is good (unlike Odyssey) and grabs you.

    This is not even an Assassin's Creed. It's just lazy Witcher 3 clone but worse in every possible way. Compared to the previous AC games Origins have worse gameplay, worse parkour, worse clunky combat and worse story. And game runs terrible on PC.

    A Great game. The main story is fantastic. The music is soul-touching. I loved this game. Don't have much to say. Will definitely go down as one of the best assassin's creed games. Reached level 40 on hard difficulty. Looking forward to continuing it in some time.

    I hadn't done Assassin's Creed since the first opus and as much to say that apart from the graphics and the design of the cities I was not impressed.
    The game is good, but there are technical flaws including the absolutely abominable AI which greatly taints the gaming experience.
    The positive points : - The graphics are sumptuous - The historical context - Huge lifespan - A gigantic Map -    I hadn't done Assassin's Creed since the first opus and as much to say that apart from the graphics and the design of the cities I was not impressed.
    The game is good, but there are technical flaws including the absolutely abominable AI which greatly taints the gaming experience.

    - The parkour, but hey I think it hasn't changed too much for the fans of the series

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Assassin's Creed Origins, oh boy, the game that made me really confused on whether I love it or dislike it, so let's begin.
    Origins is the first RPG Instalment in the AC Franchise, and the game goes on to prove that post 2015, Ubisoft lost its way completely (Except for the rare gem known as Far Cry 5), Ubisoft still proves that although it has some fresh and unique elements, the crafting phase is where they fail often, let's elaborate, Assassin's Creed is NOT FIT for an RPG game, especially with its story progression and narrative, As a huge fan I really felt sad for origins, it had quite some potential and I can't touch the story because it was one of the best stories we've seen ever Since 2, Black Flag and Rogue, but the RPG component slams the game to the ground, and what made it worse is the entire Mythology that was injected in, I hate to be that guy to say it but I will, we moved from a game that revoked the crossbow for the sake of historical accuracy, to a game where we fight Anubis on a flaming Horse and fight with a sword from Final Fantasy XV, I may excuse the flaming horse and say it's cosmetic and was altered by the Animus like the entire Outfit element in Black flag and Rogue, and the Final Fantasy one and say it's not canon although I Can't figure a way to play that around, but in no way shall I excuse the Isu taking Avatars that are Ancient gods and slowly taking the narrative towards magic rather than "We simply came before" thing were the only abnormality was the ISU and their existence that shaped the lore of the franchise that's being broken right now, I wouldn't mind this game specifically under another title, but as an Assassin's Creed game, especially one about the roots of the creed, it succeeded yet destroyed its success with their foolishness.
    Now we move to the graphics, and I got to say it is indeed one of the best I've seen relatively to the 2016 era, it looks magnificent and I can't really diss that at all.
    The gameplay, and oh boy, the fighting mechanics will be kept out considering they went RPG, which honestly for an RPG game the fighting mechanics are amazing, the progression is simple, entertaining and rewarding, but my issue stands at the parkour, why in the heck would you abandon Unity's parkour and use some Spider-Man bullsh!t that can climb smooth surfaces, impossible mountains yet fails at climbing a relatively easy Pyramid, wow, if you're gonna suck at least do it well.
    In the end, let me put it this way, AC: Origins is amazing, and has potential, but Ubisoft really screwed up with three things, Clunky Parkour, Bullsh!t Mythology and Fantasy, and finally a completely unfitting theme and genre.
    The game takes a solid 7 thanks to the graphics, gameplay (minus the parkour) and story (Excluding any mythology, the story of Bayek is one of my favourites in the series and makes him my 4th most beloved Assassin), and as much as for the inconvenience I've found, I can still recommend it to you, as long as you ignore the entire bs I mentioned above.    … Expand

For the first time we leave the chronological sequence of AC games and we are instead thrown into the ancient Egypt in times of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. And when I say thrown into, I mean thrown into. You get no intro, no explanation, no nothing. The beginning of the game can be pretty confusing. But lets take a step back and first focus on the positives of this games. First and foremost: the graphics looks very nice, it is colorful and vibrant. But pretty graphics is just not enough on its own. I am struggling to name any other positive things about this game. Maybe the star puzzles are a pretty good idea. Of course the historical period would be very interesting and a great setting for an RPG game, but it has been mistreated and reshaped in Origins to a point where you get almost no enjoyment out of it. That is about all the good I can say about this game. Now for the bad: First of all, this game is supposed to show the origins of The Creed. I was hoping for something grandiose, something meaningful, something profound. But all I got was very underwhelming. The main protagonist Bayek, who by the way looks exactly like a terrorist, is on a warpath looking to get revenge for the murder of his son, which happens before the game. He try to tell others and himself that what he is doing is righteous and good, but it is very clear that he is blinded by rage and murders thousands just to undo something that cannot be undone. To me that does not sound like something worth founding a brotherhood for. Furthermore his insufferable bisnatch of a wife Aya is bossing him throughout the game and in the end instead of being with Bayek, she just leaves him for no reason whatsoever. Brilliant. All throughout the game, the story is very black and white, very predictable, the quest design is super repetitive and boring. In the last two AC games, the investigations very pretty fun and even challenging, of course that proved to be too much for the AC players and so this time around you just click few places on the ground and all the deductions are done for you. Next thing I got to mention is the accent, all characters speak English with an Egyptian (or whatever) accent, including bad grammar, which I kept noticing throughout the game. The game is also very prudent (for obvious reason), there is no nudity whatsoever, even your marital sex scene. The game takes obvious hints from the Witcher 3 in some areas (music, certain gameplay mechanics), but sadly it does not get anywhere near the quality of the W3. Oh and two more historical aspects that I were obviously written with a clear agenda. Julius Caesar himself is portrayed as this pathetic coward, who is ruled by his own subordinates and needs to be reprimanded and educated about the role of women in the world. Then he gets murdered by Aya, who apparently orchestrated the whole thing. Wow. And one other thing: there is literary no mention of slavery or slaves throughout the game, despite the fact that all Egypt, Rome and Greece were civilizations, that could not function without slavery as they were. I guess it must have just slipped the writers mind. Microtransaction are present throughout the game as you would expect. The SJW is present, but somehow it did not feel as ridiculous as in the Syndicate. I played on PC and it took me about 55 hours to finish the whole game without DLCs, I did not have any motivation left to play those.

    I would not say it was an outright bad game. Certainly not my cup of tee, but I thing more appropriate word would be mediocre. A mediocre game for an mediocre audience. Final Verdict: 50 %    … Expand

    Truly one of the best in the AC franchise. Ubisoft masterfully captured the Ancient Egypt setting and made the whole experience so immersive and engaging. Bayek's character development throughout the game is amazing. Easily takes 2nd place behind Ezio in terms of best characters in AC.

    Most of the people complaining about game play and the story, I think story is pretty enough for one game. Also you can see more of an origin story by buying "The Hidden Ones" DLC. Open world is not REALLY good but it is not bad tho. Some of the side missions are similar not gonna lie about it. You gotta give it a try. You are not gonna regret that!

    However, the combat was actually somewhat more enjoyable, for one reason: There was no skill that let you assassinate out of stealth like odyssey. Once you got that, it was just run around in circles and wait for it to recharge before finishing up whatever boss mob you were dealing with.

    Good game, but not great. Odyssey is a MUCH improved version of origins. Valhalla is.... a very, very slightly improved version of Origins.    … Expand

Grinding for the sake of leveling up made me explore the beautiful culture and architecture of Egypt and helped break the stereotypes that I was taught during my high-school. After playing this game I realized how beautiful Egypt truly was and it wasn't just covered in the Sahara Desert. The mountains, cities, tombs, caverns, and temples are a beauty to behold. The modern world has finally got a protagonist who we can see, Layla. She is an arrogant, rash and narcissistic character. The lore is back and exploring tombs and the pyramids is rewarding on its own.… Expand

    THis change to the formula was actuallty quite good, it destroyed the stealth gameplay, thats my only issue. The story was cool when it comes to the Assassin Narrative. It's just a shame they didn't continue right after Origins with it (going to ROme with Aya instead of Greece...)

    AC Origins is the second AC game I have played after AC Black Flag: gameplay, graphics and story are really great. Although Origins has been released four years after Black Flag the game is very similar. The only point that could have been worked out better are "thrilling moments". This is typical for RPGs with a very big amount of quests.

    The main quests are excellent and varied, as are the myriad of side quests, which give you the opportunity to explore the huge maps (ive got the addon The Curse of the Pharaohs!) and admire the huge amount of dedication and effort to bring this amazing game to the world. I could go on and on about the levelling up system (some hate..me too at one point!), or the many other options available to the player, but suffice to say it is very well balanced and encourages you to find ways to improve your equipment, skills and stats.
    I have been playing pc games since my first PC..a Pentium P60 complete with a full 8meg of system ram..wow! Awesome back in the day. Now am still playing pc games, and ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS is without a doubt the finest game ive ever played, with the finest graphics, and atmospherics in any game. Red dead redemption is a close 2nd...as is AC Odyssey. But Origins is the just sublime, its the finest experience ive ever had. I run it in 4k, on a i9-10900k with 64gb ram and a RTX 3090, all displayed in 4k on a 48in LG Oled with 120hz 2.1 HDM cable, so yes am fortunate to have a good setup...it runs around 80-90fps with everything on ultra at 100 resolution setting..With my headphones at night, Its the finest game experience ever! 11 out of 10! And well done to the developers and programmers and everyone involved in its creation    … Expand

    Four years later this game remains unplayable on PC. I get 70fps on Odyssey yet no more than 18 fps on Origins.

    Główny bohater bezmyślny i denerwujący. Powtarza to samo i sypie niezręcznymi komplementami do żony.
    Gra byłaby lepsza gdyby wyciąć z niej głównego bohatera lub jego żonę.

    Pod każdym względem nieco słabsza od kontynuacji ("Odyssey"), w którą grałem wcześniej, więc ciężko było mi się przekonać.    … Expand

    It had some issues, bugs etc, but overly i liked it. I would rather to have the abillity to replay missions and it was difficult to collect all the weapons and outfits.

    Assassin's Creed Origins was the best game game Ubisoft has made before they decided to make absolute **** games like Valhalla. AC Origins have a lot to it, it takes place in Egypt which is
    imo is pretty **** cool!

    The combat is decent, it could be better. i can recommend buying the game today 12/19/2021
    if you wish to get the gold edition for only 17$

    Last AC game I played. They tried to change the formula which I can appreciate (AC franchise was getting boring with the Syndicate) but I just don't think AC should be so "Witcher-like". The story, characters and settings were amazing but after finishing it I just felt like I'm done with the IP.

    In my opinion this is the best game in the Egypt. Maybe the story is not the best, but all these mechanics do their job. The best, however, is the arch and the views.

    First installation of the 'new' AC: it had some problems which were corrected in Odyssey, the Egypt atmosphere was really nice, personally I didn't like Bayek.

    It's a nice game with gorgeous graphics and a okish story, the world is full of things to do but it still has that old Ubisoft formula that we have seen over and over, by the end of it you're burned out of the same fetch quests of uninteresting npc's you never see again. My bigest issue with this game is you need top tier CPU to run this game at 60fps or above, the game runs great at maxIt's a nice game with gorgeous graphics and a okish story, the world is full of things to do but it still has that old Ubisoft formula that we have seen over and over, by the end of it you're burned out of the same fetch quests of uninteresting npc's you never see again.     A really great RPG, not particularly a stealth game. Writing's good. Combat's good. Boring tailing missions are absent. Modern day tie-in stuff is kept to a minimum which for me is great.

    I love acient Egypt and not only. I love acient history. AC games is right games to gain knowledge. Main soundtrack is amazing, just like other in the game. 10/10

    There is only one name left of the Assassins and the hidden blade of the main character, and therefore this is no longer the Assassin's Creed and stop shoving levels and ratings, I want to secretly kill enemies with a hidden blade, as before, and not just poke them and fight with them for half a day.

    Tanking performance to "protect" a game from being cracked is inexcusable. I will change my review after Ubisoft have decided to take out Denuvo and allow the game to be played to its fullest potential.

    The resurrection of the seemingly exhausted series was successful. Beautiful and enormous Egypt is complemented by the sympathetic hero Bayek and plenty of modifications to the proven formula. [Issue#280]

    This killer holiday in Egypt is definitely no boring. On the contrary, it is a pleasant excursion to the times, when the sphinx had a nose, and mysterious killers did not call themselves assassins. You cannot find a nicer version of an Ancient Egypt in any other game, and up to it it’s entertaining. A modest family story affects the whole empire at the end, and you will forgive a handful of bugs to its charismatic heroes, as well as the fact, that you have played the same pattern so many times, just in another scenery.

    Ubisoft Montreal managed to make Egypt not only beautiful, but extremely atmospheric. When you’re admiring the city and a mounted patrol rushes past you, you always get that urge to step aside to avoid getting trampled, even though you know you can eviscerate them all in a blink of an eye.
