    The game is a huge upgrade compared to the first. The story is good, the main character is awesome, there's so much customization.

    A good story with good gameplay for the time! The soundtrack of the game is amazing!

    This game is good. Even this sentence makes you happy because first AC game was a total disaster. This game makes most things right that AC1 couldn't. Story is very good. Climax was kinda weak though. Gameplay is alright. Stealth mechanics are okay. AI is very weak. The game is not quite polished. Tons of bugs occur randomly. Optimization is very bad.     In my opinion, the second version is one of the best of all Assassin's Creed serie. Differently from the first, the history was well built. The main character (Ezio Auditore da Firenze) is considered by me the most striking.

    I played 25 hours. I'm about 98% done. I did everything possible, only the feathers remained. I was able to collect 58 of them. I wish there was something to show feathers on the map. Definitely better than the first game overall. To compare with the first game;

    Good sides; 1_) A larger world design. Various tasks to do. Historical places to visit. Special missions that we can    I played 25 hours. I'm about 98% done. I did everything possible, only the feathers remained. I was able to collect 58 of them. I wish there was something to show feathers on the map. Definitely better than the first game overall. To compare with the first game;

    Good sides;
    1_) A larger world design. Various tasks to do. Historical places to visit. Special missions that we can platform. A fortress of our own that we can develop.
    2_) Nice story and dialogues. The mystery story pieces we can find are codexes. The secrets and puzzles we're trying to solve. 2 beautiful DLCs.
    3_) Money system. Weapons, armors, etc. that we can buy.
    4_) Art design, atmosphere, music better.
    5_) We can exit the game more easily :)
    6_) Subtitled hell yeah!

    Bad sides;
    1_) conTROLS!!! still very bad especially if you play with keyboard+mouse. The reason I gave the game an 8 is just because the controls are bad. I wish I could see a better job from the first game.
    2_) Non-fluent platforming. It feels really bad, especially in Venice.    … Expand

    Эта доработанная 1 часть здесь добавили много разных заданий драки, гонки, курьер, контракты на убийство. Также можно отстроить свой город с которого можно получать прибыль. Паркур такой же средний.

    Игра которая рассказывает удивительную историю, лучшая часть серии.
    Это Assassin которого мы больше не увидим, так как юбисофт выбрала другой путь, Путь конвейера!

    Playing this in 2023. Still one of the best adventure games in every aspect.
    Although it was a weird decision to try to implement stealth mechanics in a number of missions when there is no proper stealth mechanic at all. And that menu... ugh...!

    The perfect start of an amazing trilogy. Only problem is that the pc port of this game has it's issues. Also collectibles are kinda trash just like in any Assassin's Creed game

    Assassin's Creed 2, one of the most classic revenge story of all video game history.
    Games visuality and atmosphere is fascinating. well, the graphics are outdated obviously but the atmosphere bringed by real structure and Italia's tissue is wonderfull. The map is a little bit bigger than first game. And therefore player can not be feel like their's character are bigger than city. I wish    Assassin's Creed 2, one of the most classic revenge story of all video game history.
    Games visuality and atmosphere is fascinating. well, the graphics are outdated obviously but the atmosphere bringed by real structure and Italia's tissue is wonderfull. The map is a little bit bigger than first game. And therefore player can not be feel like their's character are bigger than city. I wish they filled this empty spaces with more real life structure, but im still happy with this map design.
    Game's core mechanics and animations are nearly same with the first game. But there is some improvements and extra mechanics like new weapons, smoke bomb and few parkour mechanics etc.
    Games play time is way too much. In the first half of game, all the quests and map discovering stuffs feels enjoyable. But in the second half of the game, all the things are becoming so boring, and the mechanics are became overused. And unfortunately game doesn't channel players to do stuff except for main quests. And it is a lack of game design. The game is way too easy to beat, and the player nearly doesn't have to improve character's stuff even the game has many different way to improve stats. There's a lot of weapon and armour upgrades, but i only bought a knife and do some shield upgrades, although i was lack of upgrade way to much, i didn't find any difficult to beat the game. And the game has some pointless investment features, but i never had to use this investments.
    Game's story is one of the most iconic revenge story of all video game time. The only bad thing about the story is, the time issue. In my opinion game is about 5 hours longer then it's needed. And almost all the time i couldn't remember why i am doing this missions and what is my goal or motivation.    … Expand

    Compared to Assassin's Creed 1 it brings renewed game mechanics, telling a more articulated story, with more varied missions.
    While in the first you had to collect information with 6 missions (all of the same type), this chapter takes the player to thoroughly explore the cities visited, tossing him from one side to the other. The only flaw,    The game is nothing short of wonderful.

    The only flaw, having developed the city of Forlì little as a history.

    This game is really fun, the combat, and parkour is really outdated, but the origin story of ezio is what makes this one of the best ac games.

    Assassin's Creed 2 is a nice game with its story, concept and atmosphere, apart from that, all the maps in the game are perfect, but the controls of the game are very difficult and the battles are simple.

    Лучшая игра в серии. Любопытный сюжет гг и развитие истории Дезмонда. Геймплей, сделавший два шага вперед по сравнению с первой частью, тот же шаблон, но в который вложили много сил и принесли что то новое.

    Что сказать, игра прям дает вдохнуть свежего воздуха после первой части, всем итак все известно что в ней сделали лучше, а какие решения были спорные, но меня увлекла всего на восьмерку

    O salto de evolução entre assassin's creed 1 e são é sobre um gigantesco abismo. Finalmente temos um bom sistema de escalada, apesar de ele ser pouco polido às vezes, e temls um combate interessante, apesar de também ter suas limitações. No geral, o stelth existe para evitar um combate pouco inventivo onde você pode optar por um counter hitkill com as hiden blades, esquivar e torcer paraO salto de evolução entre assassin's creed 1 e são é sobre um gigantesco abismo. Finalmente temos um bom sistema de escalada, apesar de ele ser pouco polido às vezes, e temls um combate interessante, apesar de também ter suas limitações. No geral, o stelth existe para evitar um combate pouco inventivo onde você pode optar por um counter hitkill com as hiden blades, esquivar e torcer para acertar o hitkill ou pode passar 10 minutos batendo contra a arma do inimigo. Não tenho nostalgia com este jogo, então reconheço suas qualidades e evoluções, mas também suas limitações.
    Não há muito o que fazer no mundo aberto, o combate fica cansativo e o stelth pouco se faz importante, usado em missões bem repetirivas. 90% das vezes matar um inimigo na beira de um telhado fará ele cair, e 60% das vezes você cai junto se atacar correndo. Não é um grande problemão, mas me chateia bastante, principalmente porque geralmente você ataca correndo.

    Um detalhe que é bom e ruim: se atacar com a hiden blade e entrar em alerta, com sorte você consiga matar até 6-7 inimigos antes fo modo combate desabilitar a kill das blades. É algo que parece errado, mas pelo menos te salva de enfrentar 10 inimigos em um combate repetitivo sempre.

    No mais, história é muito boa, com personagens interessantes, em especial Ezio, mas sinto que falta um pouquinho de polimento em algumas mecânicas.    … Expand

    Assassin’s Creed II is a gem, a truly masterpiece also on PC. Developing a new economic system, and bringing more attention to combats, notoriety and context-script, Ubisoft achieves an awesome and epic experience. This sequel is far better than the first one.

    Two years later, Assassin's Creed tries again to make real those promises from Ubisoft, and prove itself as a better game than it was. The truth is that, despite the Renaissance setting, the vivid locations and the historical landmarks, the new features added don't really improve the sequel: the same repetitive mechanics remain, as the flawed enemy AI, a rough combat system and moments of frustration coming from issues with the camera and the control response in the platform sections. Assassin's Creed II it's still a good game but far from the masterpiece Ubisoft has been promising.
