Aug 22, 2012First of all, I absolutely love this game, in fact it is; in my opinion the BEST GAME EVER! If you are thinking about getting this, I highly recommend that you do! You should only rate on the actual game. Best game ever. 10 out of 10.(Rating on the game itself) The PC controls are annoying because it shows you signs.

May 13, 2013Simply one of the best games I have ever played. Great, engaging storyline, superb combat and gameplay, witty dialogues and a charismatic lead. You can only love the great assassin Ezio Auditore. His story brings evokes great emotions in the player and that is a highlight of a well made game.

Nov 23, 2013They took everything that was wrong in AC3 and made it right, unbelievable game play, graphics and content. 10/10. Hands down the best game I've played this year.

NickMar 12, 2010Any game that treats you like a criminal simply isn't worth paying for, and isn't worth playing. The draconian DRM ruins any fun I might have had, since my spotty internet connection means I keep getting booted out of the game.

Oct 4, 2011Great game, successfully built upon the first title, improved what was lacking, added a lot of potential and overall quite a satisfying game.

Sep 9, 2016Best game in the franchise. Period. The original Assassin Creed was great but repetitive. I loved it though because of the Crusades Jerusalem setting. The sequel, while less attractive as a setting to me, was a much better game, with richer gameplay. And the story, although not the best in the world, was enjoyable and not totally retarded like it became in future installments.

Jun 20, 2013The story kept me interested, but the gameplay was not interesting enough to keep me wanting to play more of it, meaning, the controls worked really hard against me, even using a controller, and the camera aswell. Other than that, it sometimes felt the story stretched on a bit too much, it could have been shorter, and so would have been better.

May 7, 2013Awesome Game, beautiful artwork and game design but holy crap the controls are just rock bottom.
It would be a 9 out of 10 if it wasn't for the bad controls. -

Apr 26, 2013That game is an upgrade from the first. Now you can swim, The fights are more complex and fluid.
Ezio is so much charismatic, the ambient of Italian Renaissance are SO amazing. -

Jul 2, 2017The magnificence presented in Assassin's Creed II is more than enough to impress any gamer, despite the lingering bitter taste of DRM that will haunt Ezio until the end of his journey.

Feb 21, 2015It's a beautiful game, with great story and great action. But I have found it too easy on many occasions and as far the story goes it didn't give me a satisfying ending.

ChrisMüllerJun 6, 2010Honestly, Ubisoft, what are you doing? As other games already described I also have an incredibly spotty internet connection. That's why I prefer to play singelplayer titels and offline RPGs or action games like Assassin's Creed The fact that I spent

Assassin’s Creed II is a gem, a truly masterpiece also on PC. Developing a new economic system, and bringing more attention to combats, notoriety and context-script, Ubisoft achieves an awesome and epic experience. This sequel is far better than the first one.
-
The PC version of last year's beautiful action adventure is lots of fun, but you'll have to overcome its online-only copy protection and high price point.
-
Two years later, Assassin's Creed tries again to make real those promises from Ubisoft, and prove itself as a better game than it was. The truth is that, despite the Renaissance setting, the vivid locations and the historical landmarks, the new features added don't really improve the sequel: the same repetitive mechanics remain, as the flawed enemy AI, a rough combat system and moments of frustration coming from issues with the camera and the control response in the platform sections. Assassin's Creed II it's still a good game but far from the masterpiece Ubisoft has been promising.
