I liked this game at first but the awful checkpoints and lack of variety in level design wore me down.

Подводя итог можно сказать что в целом это не плохая игра и в нее как минимум стоит сыграть хотя бы один раз.

This game has great and satisfying stealth combat. An interesting point is how all the Hud elements are implemented into the cape. I enjoyed this game but the story is forgettable. Its a fun play but It's nothing too special.

You play as a character known as Aragami, you are summoned to help collect several talismans for somebody who needs to be rescued, along the way you will sneak passed a multitude of enemies, getting scrolls to help you gain more abilities and utilizing these to best assist you when you make a mistake and get spotted which happened to me a bit...

Visuals/graphics - Want to start with this as it was the thing that drew me to the game at first. It is a cel shaded style game and I think it looks really good, not Breath of the Wild good but still really pretty to look at. There are a lot of enemies that look the same but this is just a minor thing, and to be honest, the detail of the game was never really something I was overly interested in.

Story - It is predictable in my view, but I still enjoyed it, it isn't anything overly different, it won't change your life. You get cutscenes here and there, with some dialogue throughout gameplay and flashback scenes, but they are sprinkled fairly lightly throughout and you will not be plagued with long drawn out scenes. For the simplicity of the story, the amount of it that they give is perfect in my opinion.

Gameplay - I had a good time here with gameplay, its also fairly simplistic (much like the story), you need to stay in the shadows to remain hidden, you can either avoid enemies entirely or go out of your way to kill them all. I personally was middle of the road, sometimes I would pick apart some enemies, other times I would just sneak my way through, the game is more difficult if you intend to go for the scrolls. Being detected means trouble as you die with one hit, this may sound unfair but I played on Normal difficulty and I really didn't have much of an issue with it, whenever I failed, it was mostly because I was careless, and even though there are complaints about this game with it's checkpoint system, I don't think the checkpoints are that cruel.

Abilities - You obtain about 5-6 scrolls each level that are scattered around the map, I would suggest immediately investing in the ability to be able to locate these scrolls in your surroundings as they will give you access to more abilities to have more fun with the game. Once I had this ability, I obtained every scroll in the game and when you get towards the end, there is so much fun to be had with utilizing all these skills in different ways. One of my favourites was setting a trap on the ground, calling 3 guards over by ringing a bell and then activating the trap to see them get sucked into a shadow ball of death, very cool. Some skills are better than others but it is up to you to find out what works best for you. You can obtain all abilities in one playthrough so there isn't much reason to go back and play the chapters again aside from getting a higher ranking.

Technical issues - Not much to say here other than some frame rate issues on PC, was VERY minor though. This isn't really a technical issue but you have an ability where you can create a shadow on the ground and then use that to warp to it, it wasn't always clear where you could do this, in some areas outside the shadows you could do it but other locations you just couldn't, there is definitely some roughness to the game but it is a newer developer so I give them a pass.

Music - There is some nice background music while you play and I really love the theme for this game, if you haven't heard it then look it up, it sounds absolutely gorgeous.

Final Rating - Lince Works is the developer for this game and they have only ever made Aragami 1 and 2, so you need to keep that in mind when judging the game, its not gonna be some grandiose adventure. However for their first attempt at a game, I enjoyed this one, its not perfect, a lot of the gameplay and story is simplistic but I am still impressed and mostly what I care about is having fun, which I most definitely did. Great job to them. This game may not be for everyone, but if you like stealth games and aren't expecting Metal Gear Solid levels of stealth, then give this one a go.

Довольно хорошая игра на один раз. Из-за коопа было еще интереснее. Больше сказать нечего, ведь сюжет не очень, геймплей не лучший... просто хорошо

Great old fashioned stealth built on a wonky, badly optimised game engine.

Despite some obvious limitations caused by tight budget Aragami is a surprisingly good, challenging stealth game. [13/2016, p.42]

Great stealth adventure that benefits from a funny game mechanics of making shadows and their movement hides under the cover of stylish graphic design. Pity of such primitive enemy AI, the final experience could be even better.
