    The overall gameplay and mechanics are pretty good, and it is free. The problem invariably is that, despite only being out for a week, there are already people who have played non-stop for that entire time, are masters of the game, and will kill you almost instantly no matter what you do.     A decent game but in its current state unplayable for me, there is now way of separating players based on either skill or time played , cheaters abound, players who have been playing this non stop will kill in a second, maybe when of if they introduce a solo mode or a 2 v 2 then maybe i will give this another go, but as it stands its a cash grab and a fail!

    Update 2Y in: Two years into this game and the server issues have not been fixed. Furthermore the audio underwent several patches which resulted in an overall worse result.

    Every update makes something worse but doesn't fix core problems. Almost three years into the cycle and no patches for post 500 game loot and progression while asking players to pay mostly for every new skin (which are often reskins with paint). This has to end.    … Expand

    Another super boring BR. Played a few matches and it usually takes 15 minutes for something even remotely exciting to happen. No idea why these are popular.

    Too many kids play it that don't shut up. And you are forced to play with them on your team. There is no solo mode. So you got another Overwatch game.

    Минусы:

    2) Почему обновления выходят так редко? Большая часть из добавленного оружия просто взята из другой игры, а новые герои не выглядят так, как будто их днями и ночами допиливали до идеального состояния, мне вообще из всех добавленных после релиза героев по геймплею и полезности понравилось только 2.
    3) Звуки. Если вы зайдете в настройки аудио, то увидите 2 параметра: "Общая громкость" и "Громкость музыки". Вы можете выкрутить звук на полную, чтоб при каждом выстреле звук было слышно на весь населенный пункт, но вы все равно не услышите ШАГОВ. Вы целитесь куда то с винтовки - и тут внезапно вас убивает враг, стоящий в 3 метрах.
    4) Помню лишь один раз, когда был режим для одного игрока. Мне он понравился больше всех и я наиграл там игр 100 минимум. Очень неприятно играть в рейтинг или просто в быструю с рандомами: они забирают нужные тебе вещи, могут просто умереть за секунду и ливнуть, писать всякие гадости и орать в войсе (ну пендосы всегда были обделены интеллектом, че с них взять), но к счастью последнее можно отключить. В общем лишь мешаются под ногами у таких, как я. Вот в чем проблема: разработчики не просто убрали режим для одного игрока, так еще и сделали режим для 3 игроков основным, рейтинговым - полный бред и признак маразма у создателей ( ну пендосы, опять же ).
    5) Сервера. Не важно, насколько хороший у вас интернет, всегда есть шанс, что вы внезапно вылетите из игры или у вас будут тормоза в опасный момент. Разработчики спустя 1,5 года добавили возможность переподключится после вылета, спасибо.....
    Плюсы:
    1) Стрельба похуже чем в Call of Duty Warzone, но плохой она от этого не становится.
    2) В последнее время почти не вижу читеров
    3) Герои со своими уникальными способностями, которых может купить каждый ( хоть большинство героев по факту бесполезны)
    4) Нерфы или изменения имбового оружия, абилок героев (очень долго ждать обновлений, но это происходит)
    5) Разнообразие: на картах можно увидеть много разных локаций (но домов лишь парочка и они копи пастятся), герои придают геймплею изюминки
    6) Не детская (для таких игр она не слишком подходит), человеческая графика
    Итог:
    Есть минусы, которые сильно ухудшают игру, но играть можно. Батл рояль стоит своего внимания и до сих пор продолжает меняться, никто не знает что даст следующее обновление и когда будет последнее.    … Expand

    While you might think that since the gun damages are so low, you might die slower? No, they just shoot you like their crosshair snapped to your body and they land 70%+ of their shots from either short or long ranges; high or low places; whether you are running or idle. I believe the shooting experience is one of the main causes that made this game lost so many players after the first few months.

    Now I only play when my friends invited me to play and I have to control myself not to rage quit after a few matches because of this unbelievably bad game experience that just got worse and worse after time.

    Skilled players might still enjoy it, I'm not and I turned to play some other type of hardcore games like Hunt: Showdown and Escape From Tarkov that looks made for that kind of experience, not this 'cartoonish', unbalanced, extremely reaction speed-based game that's going downwards.    … Expand

    this game is full of bugs (especially for pc) so many features missing , gun mechanics are not satisfying , even origin has many bugs

    Battle pass is getting worse every year.
    When you already have 500 lvl and you still don't have normal skins for old characters, it's worth considering whether you need to play something that doesn't reward you for many years of loyalty

It’s simple, it doesn’t try very hard to distance itself from other BRs outside of gameplay has tons of microtransactions that unlike something like Fortnite or Warzone actually can make a solid impact how good you are at the game.     From someone that has 500-600 hours in this game on Origin, what i can tell you from my experience is that playing this game solo will probably ruin your mental health if you play too much. It's even worse then CS and his cheaters problems. Almost unplayable if you don't have a group of friends.

    I would not advise to invest money in this game until you played some hours otherwise you may be disappointed and with no chance on getting money back.
    Game idea is ok and i think better then other BRs, maps and legends concept are ok but that's it, everything else sucks in this game.
    So many weapons available in game, only 2 or 3 are decent, rest are either bugged or useless.
    Most of legends have not that great abilities so you will see that everybody plays 4-5 legends all the time, currently there are 20 legends available but most of them are not even picked by players.
    There are also some bugs in this game and they will repair them only if its a matter of money(they repaired a bugged skin in some days but 2 weapons that ruined players experience for months were fixed when a lot of pro players complained about it and this is only one example).
    For BR, there are ranked and unranked options, both bad from my point of view. Unranked it's really unbalanced and frustrating. 80 to 90% of the time if you play solo you will get worst players in the game in your team and top players as adversaries(if you play solo you will also get matched against sweat premades that will melt you in seconds all the time).
    Ranked it supposed to be skill based but as playerbase it's not that big and a lot of players are really weak and clueless, you will get matched against pro players that will melt you when you get to higher ranks.
    Cheaters, another big problem of the game, mostly in ranked, where if you don't get matched against pro players then you get matched against cheaters, they have 1 man that it's banning cheaters, that's how much they care about player experience.
    All they care is money, that's it, don't care about player experience, don't care if you invested money in this game.
    They make a lot of money from skins but they have 1 man to ban cheaters(they said that now, after 11 seasons, have a team to ban cheaters but who knows if it's true), cheaters are getting banned after a long period of time and after that make another new account and cheat again.
    People are falsely getting banned for no reason while cheaters can play, there are a lot of cases like this if you read the forum of Apex from EA. They don't care if you invested a lot of money in the game, they will ban you for no reason and after that you need to make an appeal to their team to get you account back. Guess what, almost all their costumer support are bots that will give you same mail responses over and over again with no information on why you got banned. If you are lucky or know someone maybe you can get your account back in some days, if not you will wait months to get you account back even if you didn't do anything wrong.
    Playerbase, one of the worst experience that i had in gaming in years. As game it's not that easy as others and playerbase is not that big, you will get teammates that are terrible at this game and matched against sweats that will melt you in seconds if you play solo, maybe with premade is better, i tried but for me it was the same, i don't know. And no there is no option to play 1v1, you can go and play 1v2 or 1v3 but who wants that? They refuse to implement a 1v1 in the game, reason told by them would be that playerbase would be too divided, of course, nobody wants to play 2v2 or 3v3 with players that are clueless and of course nobody would play this modes and would play only solos if it were available in the game.
    Content, compared to other games, not too much, you have BR and arenas, 4 maps in 3 years, a lot of legends that nobody plays with, and once per season if we are lucky we get a lame event that is available for some days, there were seasons with no new maps or events, if you want new content, yeah, try something else, Apex doesn't have that.
    Between season 11 and 12 a lot of developers and employees from Respawn left the company and season 11 i think was one of the worst seasons, with less new content and no events, only boring and old staff that nobody played. Probably devs were sick of how EA and Respawn handle things and just left. Devs are not the ones to blame, i want to thank them for what they did over the years in this game, i think EA which is notorious for milking their playerbase from money with dlcs and all the gambling they have in their games(if you want some event skins you need to buy a lot of packs that are expensive and have random chance to give you what skin you really want) are the ones to blame.    … Expand

    If this was a Year early i would say 7/10 it's alright you can get 300 hours no problem now and almost double the hours yeah things went down hill
    If you are a fan of the titanfall universe or player a casual or a pro or something in between you will have a different reason to give it a low score from a broken matchmaking were it doesn't work to a anti cheat that works only wen streamers    If this was a Year early i would say 7/10 it's alright you can get 300 hours no problem now and almost double the hours yeah things went down hill

    Really there is too much bad to sum in short but the good things are a much more cut up Titanfall version of the titanfall movement and really good gun play is all the good but if you are coming from titanfall 2 then that's really not a good thing also also this season 13 and probably 14 is infested whit smurfs witch doesn't make it better idk what to write more just don't play the game until it's fixed i guess    … Expand

    The game is fun and addictive, 2 major problems with it however. Cheating has gotten so rampant that it's Plagued with it. Also the servers get worse Everytime the do a new update and this last one is the worst ever. The game freezes every other game it seems. Becoming a waste of time and energy

However, the performance sometimes is lackluster, the season pass is only okay, and every time I play I have to restart my PC due to lag (it usually runs at around 100 FPS, but then starts running at 25 randomly?), which causes all of my settings to reset, which takes at least 5+ minutes each time, along with being required toFantastic battle royale, the best one out right now period.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. -Gave it 4 stars at the beginning but now it's pointless. every 3 or 4 match i got 50% packet loss and can't even go back to lobby because it won't let me. It is a miracle if i get a server with a ping lower than 100ms, then it is playable but....
    .... whenever there are 3 squads remaining, there is always one squad that gets third partied and you won't manage 2 v 4
    -There is also a significant amount of cheaters and r99 spammers where you can't really survive a full mag of r99 which has no recoil. Nobody enjoys playing against streamers masturbating the game 10 hrs a day with 5 viewers.

    Edit: 02.05.2021 went back to the game after a month and it is even worse, can't get into a match without getting a 45% packet loss and 200 ms lag. You can't even go back to lobby you have to kill the process in task manager and start the game anew. How am I to rate the game if I can't even play it?    … Expand

To me, these games feel like cheap mobile games and not really something worth investing much time in to. My friends recommended Apex Legends because they though t was "so different than the others". Now I tried it and they have tried it for a couple weeks, we still end upAnother Battle Royale... Eh ok, I gotta admit that I'm not a fan of this genre and Apex Legends is an exception. To me, these games feel like cheap mobile games and not really something worth investing much time in to. My friends recommended Apex Legends because they though t was "so different than the others". Now I tried it and they have tried it for a couple weeks, we still end up playing old and bellowed Titanfall 2.

    Visually the game looks interesting, but it feels like it wants to be cool like Borderlands, but ends up looking cheap kids game. Maybe it was made for 12-year-olds, who knows?

    Technically it feels very similar to the old Timesplitters which is already ancient game by now. It's like TItanfall 2 didn't teach developers anything about why people love it so much. Weapon control, grappling hook, jump'n slide, wall running etc. made it unique among other fps games. I can't really understand their explanations that wall running wouldn't work in a battle royale game. I think that a Titanfall 2 with large maps, with titans and wall running, might actually make Battle Royale fun even for me.    … Expand

    demasiados cheaters aparte hay que dispararle a un enemigo 100 balas para matarlo es un poco subrrealista muchas veces es muy dificil encontrar armas y lo mas catastrofico de el juego es que tiene una visibilidad nula cuando se supone que mas o menos a 100 metros delante de ti hay otro jugador es practicamente imposible verlo osea tiene fatal las escalas de distancia

    let me sum this Pos game up: you loot for 10 min, get the best gear you can find, and then you got mowed down from a corner of the screen in 3 sec. doesn't matter what Armour you have. you're gone. no chance to run, turn, or retaliate.

    The game itself is just amazing. Loved to played the game, but had to stop. Because of the massive problem, which is a f*cking cheaters and horrible servers. Haven't got recently a single matchup without a freaking cheater on enemy side or in my team... In sad times we lives, because f*cking cheaters are ruining another great game.     I got dragged in because of my friends hype. I watched trailer where we got some real fast sci-fi action in place. Wallruns, grappling hooks, jumping and jetpacking, wow that look really cool i thought! Well, from all that cool movement we got mediocre jump. Trailer overpromised and game underdelivered so badly that I already deleted this game.

    The unique nature of the Titanfall series has been stripped down, torn out and incinerated in favour of a Fortnite-looking PUBG ripoff with Titanfall's weapons thrown onto the pile for brand recognition.

    The characters -all eight of them- are totally unlikable. Emo chick, gay hologram guy, someone from a nation I can't figure out, and Lucio from Overwatch's sister are the characters you get to pick from in this travesty.

    Better yet on the cover, one of the characters is holding an L-Star from Titanfall 2. This weapon does not appear in Apex Legends, so that's a lie before you even click "go."

    You are forced into teams of three and are left at the mercy of the game at all times, I have fallen through the world several times and been "crushed" while walking around. I'm assuming it was a crush, I just kinda drop dead and it says I committed suicide. A multi-million dollar company has no room for excuses.

    In my very first match, I was dubbed "Champion" of my team, which means I am prioritised by enemies as I give more XP upon kills. This usually only triggers if you were the best-ranked of your squad in your previous match... but this was my first ever match. So that works well.

    The game has a premium currency because of course it does, with the maximum you can pay for "Apex Points" being around £79.99. While these do not allow for Pay-2-Win elements since you can't outright buy equipment, you DO have to buy two characters to use them. So yes, it is in part Pay-2-Win.

    I honestly want this game to crash and burn, it wouldn't be as bad if it released as an extra game-mode on Titanfall 3 - a game I'm not even hoping for if it's in the hands of these "developers."

    Overall...
    Take the "Titan" out of "Titanfall" and you're left with "fall".
    Exactly what this game does.

    Edit; I have recently found out that this game is held together with sticks and twine. Spontaneous crashes far into matches, audio bugging out and not playing at all, massive lag spikes... heh, it really screams "We didn't give a monkeys", doesn't it?    … Expand

    There is only 3-person parties which i dont like, cuz sometimes they can be really [not smart]. Game graphix is not iptimised at all. I have like 40-50 FPS on low settings with 1050 ti and i5-7500.

У нас есть 2 махины: пубг и фортните. Пубг - по фасту на коленке сделанный образец, который никогда в жизни не доделают до играбельного состояния, ибо бабло уже срублено. Фортните. Я бы описал его так: "Хочешь увидеть, как за секунду возводится небоскрёб? Стрельни в первого попавшегося противника." Шо имеем в орехе? В орехе имеем высокий ттк: чтобы убить противника нужно высадит рожок, а то и два. Логике не поддаётся решительно. Пример: Высаживаемся, ловим карабин, видим противника, стреляем в корпус - наносим 10 урона (!), стреляем в голову - наносим 15 урона (!). Считаем: чтобы убить противника, нужно либо высадить в корпус 10 патронов, либо 7 в голову. И это если у противника нету брони)
    Но отдельным пунктом можно выделить отсутствие контента. Поиграть можно пару недель и не более, если вы не имеете тяги к задротству. Но! вы не сможете играть, потому что буквально через пару дней (или, если вы очень наблюдательный, сразу же) заметите, что все вокруг очень скилловые: убивают моментально, буквально за 1 очередь, т.е. за 1,5-2 секунды. Что наталкивает на мысль: либо здесь читары, либо одно из двух) И действительно, если после вашей смерти вы не отключитесь, а останетесь в игре, дабы понаблюдать за противником, который вас убил, то в 80% случаев, он не будет промахиваться ВООБЩЕ. Примечательно, что вашу систему будет грузить античит, который н е _ р а б о т а е т))))))))))

So you can patch by switching out that file and no one loads for more than a couple seconds.
    Come on considering the patch didnt even remove the old trash files I mentioned earlier, it means the game is made of of 20gb legit files - 12 gb data trash and they need to replace 16gb of the legit files to affect variables in the game? Swap 80% of your game to change damage numbers - max stacks and inventory space ? An example for horrendous coding, errors like that are usually only made by coding companies overseas which undercut even Indian call centers with their rates.

    Don't get me wrong, patching for an hour because Origin can't handle a better download rate did influence me, but my main point is the impossible stupid coding that causes those fails.
    As for people with bad internet... enjoy patching for a couple days you might be able to play a couple rounds before the next patch. :)    … Expand

    The game has lots of bugs, glitches, their servers are not stable and can disconnect you regularly with some random error. they can also be laggy, the game crashes often. the matchmaking is poor in both normal and worse case in ranked mode

    No one seems to care about plenty of bugs. You will get abandon penalty for trying to reconnect or banned for no reason (not even played at this time). Also legends receive "buffs" that makes them less and less (user) skills damanding.

    And these are only the main problems, it will take forever to include every problem in the review.

    It's probably great to play in the start but the more you play the more you realize that the game is not polished, season 15 was rushed and should have been delayed.

    - The Christmas mode is the buggiest mode I could ever experience. Screen flickering and some parts of the UI disappearing. The game struggles to render enemies and due to that you cannot see them. Even a REUSED mode Respawn failed to make it polished or bug-free.

    - The normal games are horrible as the Christmas mode as well. Same as the Christmas mode, screen flickering and some parts of the UI disappearing, rendering issues and lack of optimization. Sometimes in PC, the game tabs out for no absolute reason. Constant crashes in consoles. Apex's brand or what Respawn was going for was a team based game. Which Respawn failed to do so. No updates to encourage team-play outside from new legends, you are allowed to leave mid-game with no punishments, resulting in ruining the team-based experience for others.

    Apex is special in some way. All of the bad games at least improved. But Apex didn't, instead it got worse and became less friendly to most demographics in the player base. DISSAPOINTING!!!    … Expand

    they gave the terrible guns new hops ups to make the other guns do no damage ( i was in a fight using a r99 and this guy mowed me down with a alternator with the hop up.
    Winning a fight doesn't feel rewarding because the map is so small that a another team will hear the gun fire and will come over in less then a minute and get the jump on you when your shields or health are low.
    every now and then their is at least one hacker in a game the reason why they do it ( and no i haven't cheated the game myself) is because they are put in a game with people who have over 1000 kills, and it is now almost impossible to win a game unless your the most luckiest man in the world. thats why most people cheat because they cant compete why people who play this game 24/7.
    Solo mode inst great either because again you will get mowed down in less than 3 seconds three seconds with no chance to run, turn, or retaliate thats why this game is team based.
    ranked mode was good because it put players in their skilled rank but the way they did the points system was bad because you get a load of points if you get to top 5 which it encourages camping.

    if you are a calm person this game will mess you up play the game at your own risk.    … Expand

    1. Titan combat and pilot/titan interaction
    2. Wall running, double jump, g-slide, slide hopping So it astounds me that respawn decided to abandon every core concept of titanfall, to make a battle royale. However things such as getting rid of the source engine and changing recoil patterns for guns such as the hemlock and flatline makes me disappointed. It is honestly amazing how they were able to create a game that contrasts its predecessors so much.
    I am happy that this game does not contain the word titanfall. RIP Titanfall 3    … Expand

    Seriously, they just took a lot of popular games and made a mixture of them. Characters not only copied from Overwatch, they even have similar animations. Attempt to merge different artistic styles made game visually repulsive. Whole level is made of awful brown "rocks", materials and assets lack details, overall style is inconsistent.

    The only purpose of this game is to bite off a piece of Epic's cake.

    you wander around for ten minutes, hit a guy five times with a sniper rifle, and get killed by him. there are daily challenges you can do for rewards, but it gives you challenges specific to legends you don't own. the gunplay seems fun, but the main issue is that whether I live or die is entirely up to chance, and that chance is 1 in 100.

    Sadly that is it. The server management is horrible. 60 ping in 1 game then 200 ping for the next. Its gameplay (especially in Ass Canyon and Openlympus) is either:

    1. Find nobody until 10 squads left then after you find and fight 1, the 3rd 4th 5th 69th party comes for your necks
    2. You drop hot and die early game (if you survive the hot drop it would be the same as 1, that is the peak experience for the game)

    I am so tired of the game right now that I moved to a game that prioritizes winning over getting high kills (Valorant). The game is too casual right now (its just for the kills) unlike Valorant which is probably the FPS game with the highest competitive integrity right now. I am new to the game right now and there is no agent that you can play properly without some mastery unlike in Apex a lot of legends (Octane (especially with Revenant), Bloodhound, Seer, Caustic, and Gibraltar just to name a few) are too noob friendly and also the guns (L-Star, Rampage, Charge Rifle, Devotion (especially with Turbocharger) and R301 just to name a few also). Also, there are some annoying braindead legend combinations like the infamous RevTane (its nerfed now but still braindead)

    I also don't like the ranked system. There should be no "freebie rank" in any competitive game but in Apex the real ranked experience starts at Platinum. The consequence at losing in Bronze, Silver, and Gold is just not punishing. You can troll 5 straight games hotdrop and die first then on your 6th game you win the game and every "punishment" you had gets erased. On mid elo and high elo a lot of players just hide for RP until they can get an actual good game - making the system "grind over skill". A player who rats a lot and has horrendous aim and gamesense could get to Plat while a player who has decent aim and decent gamesense could be hardstuck gold because they take fights a lot and get 3rd partied a lot in the process. The ranked system doesn't promote playing smartly. You either rat, grief others while giving up your positioning, or be the one griefed.

    Lastly, the lack of content. Dry af. At this pace, the game is gonna die.

    This game was my favorite FPS at one point but it just stinks right now. I no longer grind it. There is just no reason to. I just play it casually and occasionally. Oh about Arenas. I forgot about it just like the majority of the playerbase.

    TL;DR = Probably has the worst servers in any multiplayer game right now. Ranked system is ass. Meta is braindead. Olympus and Kings Canyon are bad maps. Worlds Edge is good for ranked but also ass for pubs. Storm Point is boring af. Best BR? Yes. By far. Best FPS? No. By far    … Expand

    Great game, cool mechanics, it's a pity to play in no way - no connection to servers, lobby bugs, crashes. The game is farting, farting, but not played. Cool game mechanics, cool gameplay, but half an hour of lobby connection? Do you want me to buy a Battlepass? **** To wait for the connection to the lobby ????     The game is fun but the servers are very bad. in arena every 2nd match is a 3v2 or 3v1 and you can ragequit however you want without punishment.

    Oh joy... Another battle royale shooter, how thoroughly dull. This time the idea is you choose heroes? That's pretty cool. It's a shame that it does very little to actually change how enjoyable the game is. Battle royale shooters are dull to play and dull to win. You'd be better off playing something else.

    The best and worst in it's genre of crappy BR games.

    Occasional connection issues and frame issues.

    Sweaty ass players, stacking clans and greasy ass veterans who only play Octane, Wraith or Pathfinder. Also if you solo queue, prepare for the worst garbage randoms.

    Forces you to play in a group of three, meaning unless you play with friends you will always be partnered with at least one person that immediately runs off on their own and dies.

    This is not a game but online casino and should be taxed as a gambling inc. The "game" as such is very bad - servers with 1 tickrate, very bad netcode, movement is very poor and TONS of cheaters. It's a cash grabbing EA scam. As per usual.

    My verdict: Stay away.

    It's nothing like Titanfall. The Titanfall series is one of my favorites.
    Just a battle royal game nothing more, very laggy servers, the gunplay feels off, only one type of game mode, you can't play alone, the network lag is unbearable, only a few types of characters, its a laggy mess, something is wrong with the distant gunplay too, poor optimization.
    No double jump, no wall run, no NPC    It's nothing like Titanfall. The Titanfall series is one of my favorites.

Certain attachments are only useful for certain weapons. Some items are only useful if you have certain other items. Instead of quickly running through and looting I    Clunky and Slow. Not a great Battle Royal.

There were problems with downloading this game, origin couldnt even download not broken files really??? And now game cant open. I wish this game could be in development of other studios.

    Apex Legends Is simply one of the best Battle Royale games ever made. What makes this game so great is ping system for easy communications, and Titanfall-esque gameplay with charismatic characters.
