Feb 23, 2019This has the potential to be a good game, but probably in a year of content and patches. but for me, i think to drop $60 on a game with promise of future content isn't really a complete game. i would pay for a car and wait to get doors next month. so i wouldn't do it a game either. potential yes, i hope it does get good. but i would save the money now and buy it later when its on sale.

Feb 24, 2019Offering Coop mode is one thing. Games entirely online is another quite different. That's not even a game. This kind of punishment was, not so long ago, offered as an addendum - a bonus - of a main game.
Games without history, without soul, whose sole purpose is only to create a map for people to get caught up in between them -

Feb 25, 2019I'm fan of BioWare and love their games but this "ANTHEM" is unacceptable! it's so boring and repetitive... I can't believe I just can't.
-
Feb 23, 2019This game is boring, repetitive and full of micro-transactions. I give it 1 point because of amazing graphic (which was downgraded...)
Sorry EA, your greed messed it up again.... -

Feb 25, 2019This is the most boring game with a Bioware-Logo on it i have every played.
I felt asleep with a controller in my hand. Repetitive after 25 minutes.
This is fact. No hate.
EA really destroyed the original Bioware Studio. -
Feb 25, 2019Audiovisually amazing!!! it is not the revolution of the games, and maybe it needs more content but the gameplay (fly, fight, etc) and the graphics are addicting.
-
Feb 22, 2019The gameplay is fun when it works, but the more you play the more cracks appear and it's not a great launch either. I hope this will be a good game in about a month or so, but then again it should be a good game on launch. If you're considering buying I would definitely wait for updates.

Feb 23, 2019Gameplay is really good and sexy but there is so many things wrong.
Currently game lacks end game.
Overall UI is very confusing and stupid.
Biggest pain is poor technical performance, constantly lagging / rollbacking 3 secs back... Loading into Launch bay (1 room) takes longer than into Fort Tarsis... -

Feb 23, 2019Grow up! I know it's not the best game ever. But it's fun. It's a loot shooter and yeah it will get grindy! It only gets better from here. Have fun!

Feb 25, 2019No soul that you would expect from the name Bioware but all of the minimum effort you expect from EA. Absolute minimum game design essentially no evolution or progression and overpriced. This is a $9.99 game IMHO. You can put lipstick on a pig, but I'm not kissing it. This game is the pig in that analogy.

Feb 24, 2019I'm so loving this game, I don't get what people are complaining about, especially since so many of them have obviously not even played the game but are just hating because others are hating or just because it's ea. Game is fun, fighting is so cool and I like the story.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019After a while, suspicion sets in: perhaps EA doesn’t believe in BioWare anymore, and had them release not only unpolished, but basically unfinished product to cut losses and avoid another total rework. [Issue#237, p.44]

Apr 20, 2019If you want to see Anthem’s lush jungle and glistening Javelins, do it right away — this game is losing audience fast, and there’s almost nothing to do after the campaign ends. Or check it out on YouTube to save yourself some nerves and money.

Apr 8, 2019It's obvious that Anthem didn't have enough development time, but had some great potential. It's a real shame, that everything turned out this way. Even now, the game can bring out positive emotions. Hasty climbers have sudden falls. No matter how ironic this proverb may seem, it's incredibly relevant for Anthem.
