The best part of the game is the graphics and some gameplay. The rest of the game is boring and of the same type. Again Electronic Arts hurried with the release.

The story does seem to be info dumpy at places and other places too much show and no info. Though i actually think there could be a lot of depth still to be revealed which i haven't accessed yet only having about 20 hours of time on it so far.

Overall I am impressed and am really enjoying it. Will i be going back to Destiny or Diablo soon...probably not for a while. It all depends on the end game.

    ++++ :
    + Nervous gameplay
    + Feeling of power
+ a relatively large and beautiful map
    + The loot race
    + Good weapons

    - The content (weapons, challenges, fortress) is a little poor although it is worth the detour. Additional content will be added soon.

    Conclusion :
A technological monster that we enjoy playing and just waiting to be evolved and corrected on certain aspects

So, if you were expecting a single player rpg, guess what, this is not one of them.
I never really enjoyed Destiny, nor Warframe, but Anthem just "clicks" with me.

I'm in love with this game! Haven't been so hooked since many years. In my opinion the story is really interesting and very dynamic, javelins control is amazing and I FEEL the power of guns, grenades and rockets shot by my ranger.
I must be a lucky guy as I never have any of these errors that many users complain about.
You at least should try it if you are a fan of shooters or big ass mecha.

Changing the settings from Ultra to Low does nothing...
I tried every generic "fix" out there as well as messing around with windows and the hardware nothing helps....

    p.s
In BF5 we had dx12 and "render future frame" options that gave a substantial boost to performance in anthem those options are non existent and you cant even use the console commands like in BF5

There's some fantastic melee abilities like ghost projections that can autonomously use melee abilities, but those few cool things are weighed down by the inexplicable cave drawings in a far future setting and generic weapons (that are incredibly boring) a few hundred years behind javelin tech; Bioware has regressed far future sci-fi by at least a few decades.

All of this on top of bad AI, bad map design, bad mission layout and design and guns that are so broken, bullets fire up to 70 ft to the right of the target. I have never seen that in the last 1100 games i've played.

This game is an astonishing disaster and a new low for sci fi.

You have no right to have more of an opinion than anyone else. Give it a 5, and if people agree with you, it will be a 5.
At first, it seems like the game has a lot of potential. And for the first hour or so, it's great. However, the cracks quickly show after that.
The combat, while fun for a while, is repetitive, and lacking in many tells and features that make other looter-shooter games fun to play. For example, enemies rarely make sound, so they can just sneak up behind you unknowingly. Shielded enemies, which you must get behind to attack, can turn on a dime, ruining your strategy. Those are just a few things wrong with the combat.
The dialogue fares no better. It never feels like any of your choices matter, and it rarely helps you learn about the world, or the people who inhabit it.
The open world, while visually stunning, is always the same environment no matter where you are. Everywhere looks the exact same. However, I can praise the verticality of it, as that is something I wish more games did.
The loading times are atrocious. I can make myself a sandwich in the amount of time it takes to load anything.
Do I even need to bring up the Tombs mission? It's simply a way to pad out the game length by forcing freeplay. And by making all of the requirements to complete it specific per player, like "open x chests", and it doesn't count if a teammate does it, it completely goes against the very nature of these kinds of games.
The game is an unfinished mess. And don't say "Patches will fix it". Patches cannot fix problems that are so deeply rooted in the design of the game. It may be able to shave seconds off of loading times, or fix bugs, but the game is how it is. No amount of new content will change that.
The live service model was always a terrible model for a game. Not only asking players to buy unfinished slop, but then creating artificial addiction by constantly adding content, rather than creating engaging gameplay.
I will never be supporting any live service game again.
Also, looks like EA has their bots out, in hopes to raise the score.

The fort is quite nice to see the different people. Customization is extremely deep with both javelin loadouts and fashion. The only thing they need to add in my opinion is more content. The controls are pretty solid, takes a bit of getting used to, but are quite good once you get used to them. The music is phenomenal and the art design is top tier. Expand

This game is getting destroyed not only in reviews but by sales. I think the reason is the fact this is BioWare. I think the reason is the fact this is BioWare. A name that usually represents greatness in story telling, immersion and atmosphere. KOTOR, Mass Effect, Jade Empire, Dragon Age and Neverwinter Nights. I know this is EA's Bioware but that name isn't usually slapped on Triple A schlock like this. And that's exactly what it is. Triple A schlock. It's not the worst game ever. It's not great. It's meh... but the execution is what really makes me disappointed. BioWare can't do a Destiny style co-op game. You can't have high paced online action and story. You just have 4 people sitting around bored listening to dialog saying "come on already" the two styles clash so poorly together I'm surprised the game strongly recommends NEVER doing solo missions. Maybe the story might come across better if people weren't speed running missions and emoting in front of "important" critical story moments. But I doubt it.

And this game commits the biggest sin of "BECAUSE BIOWARE" I've ever seen. ME: Andromeda had some issues in this regard but that game fits what BioWare is about. We have dialog options that literally serve NO purpose. They have absolutely no effect on characters, missions don't change based off them... you don't even get a different reaction based on what you say. I tested it when my progress was reset during the trial. I picked all the different "dialog options" and the characters said the same thing with maybe an extra "well" or "yeah but" then the rest was the same. Why are they there? BECAUSE BIOWARE.

Factions make no sense... you don't pick one, you level them all up. There's no real difference between them. I've played this game for days now and I for the life of me can't tell the difference between them. Or why I level some up by doing certain things? Why are they there? BECAUSE BIOWARE.

Optional NPC dialog that usually provides some backstory or become interesting threads are just "Oh you're a freelancer cool... blah blah blah freelancer honor" what was the point of that? Was that supposed to immerse me into this city's people or... maybe give civilians something to do? I don't know but it's there to waste time BECAUSE BIOWARE.

Nothing fits well. High paced action will literally grind to halt so we can get a cutscene of our character doing something. Just our character.... not my 3 other friends I did the mission with. Like Destiny does... you see your friends in some scenes in Destiny. But here they might as well not exist in my story. Where do they go during cutscenes? Into their own personal cutscene where my character isn't in. Why? BECAUSE I actually don't know. Why this game literally forces co-op on you to do NOTHING with it in the story makes no sense. It wants to be an immersive story driven game but forced co-op doesn't make sense.

But it's not all bad. The Javelins are fun to control, flying and combat is amazing. Some boss battles are really fun and challenging. There is fun to be had here. But I can't believe I'm saying this... Destiny 2 did it better. There's more stuff to do. Characters have their own special role. The Javelins aren't different from each other and feel extremely similar all except the Colossus. And Destiny 2 goes "blah blah blah hand wave story now go kill stuff!" Here it's go kill a few things but ONLY a few things... cause you have to listen to 5 minute long conversation then get the next objective marker. Kill a few more things wait for dialog to be over and then the objective will finally come in on the map. Rinse repeat then the mission is over before you know it.

So it would be a 7/10 as it's fun but not good. However the game crashes and freezes every hour! Literally the EA servers can't handle this game. Friends drop out of missions at least twice every time. And it's like this on PC, Xbox and PS4. This game is so unstable half my friends decide to stop playing through a mission cause they can't stand being kicked so often we just end up playing something else.

This isn't BioWare... it's EA's BioWare. And it shows.

While out exploring the world, I’ve found three separate instances where it’s obvious they have planned DLC ready to open up should Anthem do well. I acknowledge there have been a few kinks in the system due to releasing the game a month or two before it was actually ready for lunch, but this is an industry wide problem. It seems like Anthem is the straw that broke the camels back for a lot of people, causing the unwarranted extreme negative opinions. Give it a shot, download the demo. The campaign's ending was a huge killer to the narrative and is such a letdown. Everything about its gameplay is BORING and utterly repetitive. New games today keep looking better and better, but for some reason, they keep leaving optimization and bug fixes to after release date. Anthem is one of these games with multiple serious bugs, optimization problems, connectivity issues, constant crashing, lack of content, a small map with just a couple unique places and another loading screen after another,

My first day felt like I was being pushed to go and shop items in Vanity Store constantly. What is hilarious is that there isn't even much to buy in there. $10 skins for a game which costs $60 is just one of the disgusting things in this game. Some Bioware loyalists keep defending this by saying "you can buy them with in-game credits". Yes, you can by grinding around 5-20 hours for them. None of these armor parts are lootable or be gained as a reward from missions. Is game basically is just a looter-shooter, then why there is no great loot to be gained anywhere? Weapons are just the same with a different name and colors. None of them has anything unique to them and other loot like parts are just to build stronger versions of these weapons and other invisible mods to your Javelin.

The world of Anthem looked great in the E3 trailer. It really did and I was excited to get in there. I just didn't expect the whole map to be more of the same seen in the trailer with a huuuge downgrade. In the trailer we see these animal running around, birds flying in flocks, those big walker things walking around while one gets destroyed with amazing fireworks. You know a beautiful dynamic world like many other games are starting to have now. None of that is in the actual game we got. Bird respawn mid-air front of your eyes and does only have one flight pattern which is forward and honestly, they don't look great even from a long distance. Those walkers are just lifeless unanimated objects and even those beautiful fireworks are gone.

Actual flight distance has been also downgraded. Now we need cooling around half the time that Javelin did in the E3 trailer. Overall flying is the best thing in this game and for that, I'm giving 2 out of 10 and not 1 out of 10.

Briefly, this game has a lot of great ideas, but terrible execution.
