Jun 21, 2024Part of me wishes Another Crab’s Treasure predated the Souls games, just so we would have to refer to genre offshoots as Crablikes. The sauce is certainly thick on this one, and I’ll be thinking about it for quite some time. Another Crab’s Treasure pulls off exactly what it set out to do, and it’s going to be a favorite for many. Thanks to some of the less palatable late-game moments, it didn’t quite get to that level for me, but I very much appreciate all the shell-bound friends and pelagic puns I met along the way.

Jun 7, 2024Another Crab’s Treasure neatly combines soulslike basics with accessibility and friendliness towards novice players, including young ones. It offers a cheerful story in an interesting setting and deserves to at least be checked out.

May 22, 2024Another Crab's Treasure is a nice soulslike game and its shell system makes us love the game, but its enemies have an absurd and horrible pathing attack that frustrates us a lot.
