Absolute Drift is a simple arcade game with problematic physics that ruin a good idea.

A minimalist game that appears to have taken much of it's content's colour scheme from Mirror's Edge - which does NOT work well.
The controls are unforgiving for keyboard users, I am not sure about controller users because I don't use one.
The concept is good, but the colour scheme is really not the best for this kind of game, where being able to actually tell where you are driving is

The concept is good, but the colour scheme is really not the best for this kind of game, where being able to actually tell where you are driving is one of a few defining traits of a good driving game.
The tasks can be repetitive, and initially, for the first world at least, you'll spend a long time trying to master one skill - namely drifting, before being told to perform doughnuts....whilst I concur that doughnuts are generally performed by drifting, as someone who does drive, I can categorically tell you that the doughnuts they expect you to perform with the problematic physics they use is very unreasonable. Quick cheat to this is to just spin near where they want you to doughnut- problem solved.
This is an unpolished game in terms of physics, and logistics as far as where the car is and where it's going is concerned when it comes to performing set tasks, the controls are basic, yet utilising them is a chore - you have grind games for clicking a mouse, this is a grind game for hitting the accelerator many times over in short bursts.
This game has a lot of potential, considering it is not following the norm of other driving games out there - but it has failed to meet it as yet - with a colour scheme that needs fine tuning (the shadow work is not brought out and defined enough to be able to tell where wall and ground meet in a lot of places), some seriously dicey phsyics, and some repetitive tasks that require you to endure the previous two issues, this can be more of a chore than a joy to play.
    Needs more work.
Other than that, not bad - but not great.

This game has a great art style, maybe not super unique, but the combination of of minimal visuals and the great physics, it really suits this game's genre. It gets a little bit frustrating at times, not the easiest game and it's not very diversified, gets old rather quickly. Overall worth a play though!

Fun little racing game with a very steep mastery curve. It is very challenging at first, but with enough practice and repetition you feel yourself getting a little better. That is where the rewarding feeling comes from. But I wouldn’t say that the challenge is truly natural, some of the physics aren’t the most intuitive, but you can eventually adapt to them. But I wouldn’t say that the challenge is truly natural, some of the physics aren’t the most intuitive, but you can eventually adapt to them. Unfortunately the content just doesn’t really hook you that much. The race types and challenges tend to get a little repetitive, and there isn’t much pull to keep you going. The minimalist graphics are fine and do the job, but when the graphics are minimalist, the content is minimalist, and the gamer play is minimalist, it leaves a lot to be desired. The same company made Art of Rally, which was a far superior game. You can have a couple hours of fun with this game, but that’s about the max enjoyment. Expand

Oyun eğlenceli ve güzel fakat optimizasyon sorunları var. Bu konuda yapımcı firmanın geliştirme yapması gerekiyor.

While boredom can set in as you perform the same handful of actions time and time again, there is just enough variety to keep you entertained. [Issue#165, p.98]

Though Absolute Drift was not the drifting game that I wanted it to be, I was pleasantly surprised by what it actually was. As a relaxing and engrossing experience over the course of a short playtime, it's an interesting foray into the growing genre of alternative driving games.

A fun game, regardless of some of its physics issues and repetitive challenges.
