    This game as of right now in his alpha stage is just AMAZING. Compared to other alpha games it has better gameplay, features, ambience, enemies, playability and the devs are always really interactive with the community. They also release updates quite fast and when it comes to bugs it's really stable.     So I've had the game for a few weeks now and I love it. It's something between Minecraft & State of Decay or DayZ. The crafting is becoming better with every update. World generation is not added but planned.

Early Access is commonly accepted to mean you are paying the developers and funding the    So I've had the game for a few weeks now and I love it.     The first thing everyone notices about this game is the price. But what is early access?

    Early Access is commonly accepted to mean you are paying the developers and funding the game development. You are not "buying" the game but rather helping to further the development and help pay bills.

    So is the price something that should cause you to forget this game?

    Answer: Yes & No. It depends how you think about Early Access. With the description above, I see no room for complaints, you are supporting development with your wallet. As a reward you get the game free when it is released. Since you also get the game early, as in right away, you also can help bug test and report issues to the developers.

    So yes, the money is a high price to pay. Was it worth it? Yes. I would buy a second, third or fourth copy if I had friends/family interested in playing.

    Will this be the next Minecraft craze? It could be, but the price holds it back, the multiplayer in general is a disaster unless you play with friends only.

    Multiplayer is what Minecraft multiplayer would have been if there were not plugins.

    Now, the building in this game can be hard, it is what I had always hoped for in other crafting/building games. The blocks all have physics, which means buildings can fall and crush your face. But as in real life, if you provide the proper supports you wont have a problem.

    The mining in this game leaves much to desire, it's rather slow, and is based on Stamina & Tool damage points, which drain from every hit. Water refills stamina but your tools will require repairing or replacing.

    The good point with mining though, there are not caves to search, you just start digging down and you will start finding ores. Which is great, it's not realistic in anyway but is a improvement over Minecraft's mining in a lot of ways, (which was not realistic either.)

    Overall you have both Multiplayer and Single-player and both are great in there own ways.

    You have many options when starting a game and they can be changed at anytime before starting one of your saves.

    If you don't want to play with giant wasps and hordes of zombies tearing through your walls ready to eat you, you don't have too.

    Play in a war torn landscape as the soul survival or join MP and find other survivors and rebuild civilization.

    Build a giant bunker underground or a giant castle. Build a wall with many traps and defenses surrounding a small town and build a community. It's all up to you and as any role-playing game with unlimited replay-ability it is up to you to find the fun. It's yours for the taking.

    7dtd is one of those rare game that requires someone who IS NOT shallow to understand and enjoy. Its crafting , Its map making, world building, world destroying, kind of anything goes with zombies that freak out at night. It is my favorite game yet its still in Alpha state. I am a hardcore follower because there are very few games that can satisfy me. I'm a big map editor and mission7dtd is one of those rare game that requires someone who IS NOT shallow to understand and enjoy. That is what did it for me. The videos don't lie and will tell you if its for you or not. I give it a 10 because no game before it in a LONG TIME has given me this much enjoyment. I could be more critical and say it has this bug or that bug and yes some Online connection issues but I have gotten around those issues and can do what I want with the game not even finished.     Buffs, basic necessities, Unlimited World and lots of Points of Interests!
    It's still Alpha, so it's not completed yet. It's a amusing and Interesting Survival Game with close to reality Surviving. It's more Interesting with the new Random/Unlimited Generated World. The Developer going to a right way! ;) What they actually need    The Game has everything what a Survival Game Needs!

    SO MUCH POTENTIAL HERE, it is just oozing. Especially now since the price is down to 25 it is definitely a worthwhile investment for an alpha, expect the finished product to be much better than the alpha which means a lot considering the alpha has provided hundreds of hours of playtime for myself and friends. The devs listen to a lot of input from the community and only aim to make theSO MUCH POTENTIAL HERE, it is just oozing.     This is the first game I would give a 10 since I played EQ back in 1999. I LOVE this game. The first night I hid in the base I built from the feral zombies, the hair literally stood up on my arms from the scratching and moaning and crashing of the zombies trying to get to me. I LOVE the base building, and the zombie killing and the overall crafting and going into the apocolyptic citiesThis is the first game I would give a 10 since I played EQ back in 1999.     I know it's still Early Access, but this game is effin' sweet.

    I have purchased quite a few EA games, and this one is the best in terms of development, community, and gameplay. The updates are frequent and meaningful, the community doesn't seem divided by systems and mechanics like others (*ahem* Starbound), and the game has captured what I find the most thrilling parts of an    I know it's still Early Access, but this game is effin' sweet.

    I have purchased quite a few EA games, and this one is the best in terms of development, community, and gameplay. The updates are frequent and meaningful, the community doesn't seem divided by systems and mechanics like others (*ahem* Starbound), and the game has captured what I find the most thrilling parts of an apocalypse to be- the hordes, and fearing starvation/dehydration/disease.

    You have to work hard to make it in this world, especially if you're playing solo. Thankfully, there's always thousands of players playing, so teaming up or getting help is not as hard as other games.

    All the accolades this game has received so far is deservedly so. It may be EA, but it's a great game as is, and will only get better with each update leading to release.

    The most recent update brought character customization, while the previous one brought random world generators. The next major update should bring vehicles, so that should be interesting.

    Tired of DI or Dying Light being the only option for fun zombie bashing? Give 7DtD a try. It's more survival horror than many games of the same name claim to be.    … Expand

    This game is awesome, the crudity of survival horror, you can die of hungry, wellness, thirst, and you have to make a good bunker or fortification to survive in this apocaliptic world, the configuration of the game is really good, you can change very much options to make the game as you like: zombies spawn, craft time, etc.
    100% recommended if you like a survival zombie game.

    This game made me reopen my steam account ( which i vowed never to do) . The combat mechanics are excellent , crafting is fun . even on low zombie setting it is extremely difficult , although on multiplayer its a great deal easier .     Pros - Combat mechanics - Crafting - Choice - virtually bug free in alpha ! - Danger - Massive random maps- Can alter zombie strength betweenn sessions to make it harder once you get good .
    Cons - Uses Steam only - Multiplayer isnt stable - in game voice is poor (use your standard voice instead)
    Utterly addictive , just about to set up a dedicated server for some mates see you in 7 days ;)    … Expand

    This game is a wonderful cross between DayZ, Minecraft and Ark. I feel the game is an improvment over raiding in Ark, the stats and skills allow deaths to be less punishing than DayZ and so many items are crafted from raw resouces which dont take too long to harvest.

    I've owned 7 Days to Die since Alpha 6 and love it. The game has changed a lot over the years. I know a lot of people that also love the game. Yes it's still in alpha and it does have bugs and glitches, but what alpha game doesn't. The devs work on fixing the problems and giving us more to look forward to in more and more updates.

    I find myself coming back to play this game every few months because it’s just so enjoyable. Obviously this game is still in Alpha and as such, can be rough around the edges. But half of the fun is just testing what does and does not work against the zombie’s erratic AI. With that being said, this game has it all... survival, crafting, brain smashing and terrifying greatness. Think you finally have a solid grasp on combat? Think the game got too easy? Well... try to play with a horde every night. Do you just want to build things? There’s a creative mode with the option to turn off zombies. If you want to build hardcore zombie smashers and then test them on ridiculous hordes, well... you’re free to simply change your settings at any time.

    Each new release offers new things. Alpha 16 to 17 was almost a completely new game. New POIs were introduced and nearly every house now has a unique dungeon layout.

    I got this game during the Halloween sale on steam (2017) for $7.50. I recommend you do the same. The $30 asking price is worth it, if you simply can’t wait to delve into this game.    … Expand

    P.S: as a fan of survival games, I often buy games on Steam, especially about zombies. I follow new games. So far, I have not seen better than 7d. Namely survival + construction + changeable world + moderate graphics.

    5) Продуман кооператив с другом! Миссии можно выполнять вдвоем и получать в 2 раза больше награды, это радует!
    6) Система base building! Строй свою крепость для защиты от орды зомби и черт побери - это интересно !
    7) Так же каждую 7 ночь в игре происходит наплыв зомби и нужно выживать, отстреливая их! Черт он бегут за тобой даже если ты под землей !
    8) Приятная картинка глазу
    9 Система крафта ( правда нужно искать схемы и инструменты для крафта что иногда нудно)
    10) В этой игре продуманы все подходы геймплея! Каждый найдет себе занятие ! Убивать зомби ? Строить дом? Копать шахты? Путешествовать ? Строить ферму овощей? Крафт? Все есть в этой игре и она максимально реиграбельна    … Expand

    Одна из лучших игры про выживание в мире зомби. Но разработчики должны приложить больше усилий, чтобы довести ее до релиза.

    After whopping 10 years spent in Steam’s Early Access, 7 Days to Die still feels unfinished, which makes it quite difficult to evaluate. My reason tells me to tear this game apart for tons of bugs and pretty much non-existent optimization, but my heart wants to give it a high rating. After all, I spent over a hundred hours in it and had fun for most of that time.

    7 Days to Die, in my opinion, is dated in a lot of ways. Some of the mechanics feel unnecessarily tedious, the game doesn’t look incredible, and the engine is undoubtedly on its last legs. In other ways, however, the game is revolutionary, featuring a core mechanic loop that I am shocked no other games have replicated and a surprising amount of player freedom in its gameplay. If nothing else, 7 Days to Die will quickly become the next Stardew Valley or Rogue, inspiring a variety of new games and becoming the forefather of its own genre.
