    Great "game" about game creating studio. 3/4 of time is like watching a series. full of humor and action twists. 1/4 is exploring and mini-games. each episode is about half and hour. certainly it's a good and fun piece of art, worth experiencing.

    It's funny and enjoyable. I do wish the story would move a little faster in addition to the random tangents of each episode, but that doesn't matter too much honestly since all of it is quite engaging.

    I'm really surprised this game doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. It's so well made! The sense of humour of this game is on a completely different level. I got this game on Epic Games in the form of separate episodes instead of the entire Season 1. So I had to download and play each episode separately. And trust me, it was worth it!

    3 out of 10 is a game that is based around Shovelworks, an indie gaming studio that never makes good games. None of its games have ever received a rating higher than 3/10. They even have a board in their office entrance which predicts the score of their next game. It's always stuck at 3/10, except in some instances where it goes to either 4 or even 2. The studio consists of 8 members - Jeb the dumb CEO, Midge the confused animator, Kevin the stubborn lead designer, Viper the aggressive VFX artist, Joan the nice old lady, Ben the bored artist, Pylon the green guy and Francene the annoyed HR Manager. All the employees hate each other's ideas, because of which they end up making a Frankensteined game called Swimming With The Sharks, which is supposed to be their magnum opus. They do get their interns, but they use them for a purpose I don't want to reveal.

    Every episode is very hilarious. The sense of humour used in this game is absolutely new. If this were a TV show there would have been a laughter track after every joke, and that's why I don't like to watch sitcoms. Occasionally between the cutscenes we get a gameplay from one of the arcade games that we have played previously. There are callbacks to DOOM, The Legend of Zelda, Death Rally, Midtown Madness, Snake Game etc. There is a retro console in the Shovelworks studio on which there are absolutely mediocre games that have a very complicated story but a simple, if not a terrible gameplay.

    My favourite character in this game was Viper. Every time he is on the screen you know something funny will happen. I like how he always replies about everything in context to blood and gore. He is like a more extreme version of those people who want to see violence and profane language in every piece of entertainment they find. But don't worry, there is no foul language or violence in this game.

    At the time of writing this review Season 2 just came out a week ago. I have completed both the seasons. I really want to keep seeing everything the game has to offer. This is such a unique concept, I think it deserves a lot more popularity than what it already has.    … Expand

    I wasn't sure to enjoy it, as I am mainly a point'n'click gamer, but I got hooked quite soon.
    Original gameplay, original characters, original plot, original humor, original graphics and animation, original music, original settings. Everything is perfectly conceived and you can feel the love and    3 out of 10 is a brilliant experiment mixing many genres, design techniques and concepts.

    Characters are incredibly characterized, there are so many details and references scattered all over the place, it is a pleasure for the eyes and the spirit.
    I loved it, can't wait for next season!

    it's a very creative game, at first I was a little apprehensive but I ended up loving the characters, the gameplay and the plot, it's worth playing.

    I love this game. The artstyle is charming, the characters are interesting, the minigames are individual. The story is crazy, with jokes you would never think about. Just play it. It's free.

    - Some of the mini-games are a bit too difficult. I just can't get all 5 stars in many cases. It's not a big deal, because you can keep going to the next story sequence if you get too frustrated
    - The mini-game of wandering the office is not super interesting.
    - This being essentially a TV show, there's certainly no opportunity for player agency

    The Ugly:

    Really good "game".
    Full of various funny mini-games
    The only thing I would tell in negative is the absence of translation.
    Is hard to follow what happen on screen when you have to read and "translate on your mind" what they say

    3 Out of 10 is an outstanding mixture of cartoon and game, which gives an ironic look at the video game industry. It's a genuinely funny title, which at the same time makes use of all of the power of Unreal Engine 4 and manages to handle serious subjects. The season ends with a huge cliffhanger, which isn't bad at all. But there's a flip side to that coin, though, since I cannot wait a year to see more misadventures of my beloved characters.

    What makes 3 Out of 10 work is that it’s just plain enjoyable, mixing smart commentary on the gaming industry with a great cast that can weather the madness of their world. Like most TV series it takes an episode or two to fully establish itself, but I played these as they came out and caught myself looking forward to the season finale. The needs of a game are different than those of a TV show, but 3 Out of 10 does an amazing job of fusing them together into an episodic adventure that demands a hopefully-quick turnaround for Season Two.

    If you are looking for an escape from the craziness that is life then 3 out of 10 is the game for you. It offers something different for everything between the mini-games, the story, and the humor. Your adventures inside of Shovelworks Studios will take you all over the office and even into some outside areas. Video game development can be a cutthroat business and you will watch how the team interacts with each other as you play through the story.
