Mar 18, 2023A competent, yet basic, platformer to the tune of some good music. It is mostly rhythm based platforming with a few boss stages. There's no story, no upgrades, just you, the stage that needs platforming through it, and music to complete the package. The extra levels can be crushingly difficult as you have to start the level from the beginning upon a single mistake.

May 20, 2021This game is basically an art piece. I don't think I'd classify it as a puzzle platformer, it's basically a funky sidescrolling platformer with artsy abstractness and funky techno music. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're into that sort of thing.

Apr 24, 2020Extremely mesmerizing.
Headphones and isolation are required to experience this game at its best.
Kinda wish there was more to do but completing it in a day is nice.
Wonderful game.
Amazing music. -
Feb 12, 2020I dont know what to say about this game it was very short and fine i guess.

Jun 4, 2019A great example of a low-budget game with a great idea and marvelous realization. During the game everything, starting with colors and music, is enjoyable. Ok, if you have complications with perception of rapidly changing colors, etc., it's not the game you search for. But for now 6/10 due to the good realization and low price.

Dec 19, 2017140 is a game which combines both rhythm and platforming mechanics. It has a solid colour scheme, minimalistic visuals, and a kick-ass soundtrack for each level. While the game itself does not contain much content, and could use a level editor, the content that is included makes this game stand up amidst lacking nature.

Jan 21, 2016Short, awesome soundtrack/artwork blend, interesting mechanics, fair checkpoint system.
The game filled its purpose completely and it's strangely pleasing to be played, recommended to everyone. -

Nov 7, 2015Music-drive minimalist platform game. About three hours of gaming, it never gets particularly exciting, but on the good side it is rarely frustrating. Consider it if you find it for very cheap.

Oct 17, 2015Very nice little rhythm based platformer with simple mechanisms yet pretty addictive and enjoyable to play. Mirror levels set the challenge up to the par so it ensures a certain replay value. If DLCs and soundtrack get available, I'll boost my score to 10.

Nov 17, 2013This game isn't what you call easy, but its still an indie gamer's dream. Its short, its simple, and it puts you in a different world. I disconnected from everything around me, and it felt great. There was no story line or tutorial to get in the way, it was bliss. Play it!

Nov 9, 2013This game is okay. Deferent and stunning design, with a beat that fits the game, but all in all not a very good game thats is to short. You can finish it in about 20-30 minutes.

Oct 27, 2013Surprisingly good game.. I normally avoid 'retro' games most are not retro and are just poor imitations of past glories.. but pleased I purchased this on impulse. Its simple gfx style don't detract from this platform game. The Music and beats make this game very interesting indeed.

Oct 26, 2013This game is a good experience. It is very short, but very hard.
The most interesting thing is that the rules are coming and disappear .
I personally liked this game because you can use the music, and the music it's not for background, because you use it to help you out.
The hardest thing I've seen in this game is that the orbs are moving and these are really hard to catch, but still,a good game. -

Nov 5, 2013With its beat, pounding in the head and on the skin, 140 proves once again what the indie scene is about. Jeppe Carlsen creates a wonderful experience and delivers what is more than a game: a love declaration to music and genius.

Oct 23, 2013Though the brutal rise in difficulty near the end mars the adventure, it doesn't ruin the overall mood, and the cover charge is more than reasonable for this particular night at the club. Grab a colorful cocktail and head to the dance floor!

Oct 23, 2013140 is the scientific definition of a platformer. It is cold, brutal, elegant and beautiful in a mathematic way.
