StarfireOct 23, 2007An amazingly relaxing experience- the music, the sense of flight, the changing skies and weather. I have yet to see anything match it, as even though I don't like simulators, I love flying this way. It shows just how revolutionary the N64 was, I hope more people get to try it, maybe on the Wii.

unMournedSep 25, 2004Played this game when it came out--and still think of it to this day. Great graphics, GREAT simulation...what a great flying experience. I'd buy a N64 just to re-live this experience. No flying game this good has been recently released for a console or PC.

May 20, 2014This was a great game for the time like the SNES version it was very fun and the replay factor was very good too. Today is hard to find a game like this.

May 29, 2012Very strange game, the goal is to pass a series of flying tests with your pilot. There are some interesting scenarios and the music is good. Aside from that, the game gets boring very fast because of the lack of objectives in the game.

Jan 18, 2014A great game if you just want to chill and fly like an eagle. A little hard, not that long, but the ideal cartridge to enjoy sometimes, between two Zelda games for example. Music is certainly the greatest thing in it, really peaceful and appeasing, especially if you just take the time to fly around and admire the N64 ability. But if you go deeper in the game's records, that's a tough one.

A consistent and solid game. Not my gender and gameplay it´s not as good as it should be. Sounds great and peaceful. -

Jun 4, 2023Underrated, yet quite good. "Pilotwings 64" is full of life and feels like a full game rather than feeling like the tech-demo the original was.
-
Oct 24, 2022give me a sequel! this is pretty good game for the system and would be perfect for a new version now
-
Jun 10, 2023Following in the footsteps of the original chilled out, challenge-based flight sim on the SNES, 64's main improvement is in its 3D modelled environments...otherwise it plays pretty much the same. By today's standards it's a little limited as there's no attempt at a "story", which makes it feel like one of those side missions from the later GTA games, but Pilotwings 64 did it first.
-
Jun 26, 2023A forgettable game that mainly was played due to the impressive graphics for the time period.

This was a well designed game that was rushed a bit. Another month of development and this game could have been better than Mario (well, a month's a rough estimate).
-
Simply flying around and admiring the scenery is an enjoyable enough pass-time. When you get serious with the game, it's demanding but fair, constantly pushing you further in mastering the various craft and the environment.
-
A silky smooth wonder. The absolute freedom that can be yours in this game is unprecedented. With a large screen television and proper stereo amplification, Pilot Wings 64 truly takes us where no console game has ever gone before.
