Mission Impossible had a number of good ideas and concepts taken from the movie but could never quite figure out how to implement them. Some missions are very good fun others simply aren't.

A brave attempt at making an espionage game that relies more on stealth and strategy than an itchy trigger finger. It's not perfect because of its very linear and trial and error nature but different enough from the pack to make it worth a look if you're all Goldeneyed-out.

  1. Falls short in many areas, none of them excusable for a game that has been worked and re-worked for so long. If the game had been more like it was originally planned with random AI for the other people and more interaction between characters, it could have been a game worth purchasing.
  2. An excellent attempt for Infogrames and I can't wait to see what they will come up with for the sequel.

The control problems, lack of balance and repetitive gameplay will turn off the majority of gamers spoiled by games like GoldenEye or Metal Gear.
