    Due to its slow pace, Venture Towns is far from Kairosoft's strongest effort, but neither is it the company's worst. It's still very possible to lose several hours watching your tiny pixel empire. Still, I hope Kairosoft has some fresh ideas on deck for 2012.

    For the price, you'll be getting a very competent city-building simulator. There are hours of gameplay and a number of different maps to choose from for building multiple cities, so the value is unquestionable.

    It's bland, SimCity type of stuff with Kairosoft's characteristic wrapper.

    Venture Towns sounds like a great idea and you'll think it runs like a realistic city simulation, but, it just doesn't pack the punch thatVenture Towns sounds like a great idea and you'll think it runs like a realistic city simulation, but, it just doesn't pack the punch that other city simulator games yield, and it is far from Kairosoft's best and worst game so far. After about an hour of playing, you realise you are nearly broke, have no way of affording to pay for making new vacant lots for residents, and it is plain boring once you've done everything.… Full Review »
