Venture Towns

Venture Towns is the natural evolution of all the Kairosoft games. If you love strategy games, buy it straight away. If you loved their previous games, buy it straight away too.

Here's what it boils down to. It's a Kairosoft game and all of them are easily worthy of ten hours of your time, considering they cost less than five dollars each. Venture Towns doesn't differ greatly to their other titles but has the same addictive gameplay. If you are a newcomer, ask yourself if you would prefer to build a modern-era city, if not have a look at one of the other amazing Kairosoft games.

If you've played any previous Kairosoft games, you know what to expect here. A well made sim game that will eat away the hours. This particular flavor is about corporate development.

Kairosoft throws out another stonking management title, with Venture Towns satisfying our hunger for creativity, expansion, and depth.

Due to its slow pace, Venture Towns is far from Kairosoft's strongest effort, but neither is it the company's worst. It's still very possible to lose several hours watching your tiny pixel empire. Still, I hope Kairosoft has some fresh ideas on deck for 2012.

For the price, you'll be getting a very competent city-building simulator. There are hours of gameplay and a number of different maps to choose from for building multiple cities, so the value is unquestionable.
