Jan 28, 2015This is a great MOBA experience very well adapted to mobile gaming. It needs more content, but so far the foundations are solid.
-
Jan 27, 2015Although it serves as an excellent primer to the impending release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Witcher Battle Arena proudly waves its own sword, carving a path for eager gamers waiting for a new adventure.
-
Feb 6, 2015It's perfect for the mobile platforms, as the quick matches can really be a relief while waiting for the next bus.
-
Feb 2, 2015An exciting online arena game that's simple enough for mobile but complex enough to provide plenty of challenge.
-
Jan 30, 2015A very interesting way to spend our time before The Witcher III arrives next May.
-
Jan 28, 2015You should take a look at The Witcher Battle Arena not only because it's a free game. The Witcher MOBA has this illusive "something" that pulls you in and generates lots of fun. The heroes have a rich back-story and the combat system is as simple, as it is satisfying. Many hours have passed with me looking at a tablet screen in excitement, and many more will pass in the future.

games(TM)Mar 26, 2015The touch controls start off feeling a little detached, but it will grow on you. [Issue#158, p.109]
-
CD-ActionMar 17, 2015If we pretend that Battle Arena is not a part of The Witcher franchise and is not spreading its universe too thin, it’s a good mobile MOBA, very simplified though (one basic mode, two small maps, nine characters). [03/2014, p.65]
-
Feb 1, 2015The Witcher Battle Arena tries something new delivering a faster, less strategical MOBA experience. And it almost succeeds.
-
Jan 30, 2015A decent multiplayer mobile experience that manages to combine the domination mechanic with more traditional MOBA systems. As of right now, it still needs quite a bit of work in terms of the movement and online lag, but quite a few updates have already been rolled out, so things might get improved soon.
-
Jan 29, 2015A title not only recommended if you are fan of the world of The Witcher, but also if that's your genre, given the interesting new mechanics this game is carrying. Give it at least a possibility.
-
Feb 2, 2015Quite enjoyable, but it fails in key aspects. Online is not stable and it lacks content to support the experience for a long time.
-
Feb 13, 2015There's something good in this attempt to fit the MOBA genre to mobile platforms, but lacks in content and it’s way too unbalanced to be recommended.
-
Feb 4, 2015The Witcher Battle Arena might look pretty, but it's all too simple and lacking in fun.
-
Jan 29, 2015Like most MOBAs, The Witcher Battle Arena is free to play, so of course you’re free to check it out on your own accord. However, I just don’t think it’s worth your time at this point.
-
Game World Navigator MagazineFeb 17, 2015You will not find here the familiar classic DotA gameplay with towers, bases and infinitely spawning infantry. Instead, the CD Projekt RED created the team slasher in the format "3 vs. 3" with the main goal to capture and hold control points. [Issue #195, p.81]
-
Jan 28, 2015The Witcher Battle Arena succeeds at a base level, but at its absolute height, it just barely becomes competent.
-
Jan 27, 2015For now this game is little more than a noble, albeit misguided attempt to make a MOBA ideally suited to mobile platforms.

Apr 3, 2020I didn't expect to write it, but it's one of the most boring games ever created, I don't represent anything, the bottom and meter of mud.
-
Aug 11, 2023It's really good and a shame we can't play this anymore. Would have been so good these days.
