Nov 8, 2013Tiny Death Star is a refreshing new take on the Star Wars universe, with a wonderful pixelated visual style and endless references for fans of the original trilogy.
-
Nov 9, 2013Tiny Tower meets Star Wars. Addictive and fun as the aforementioned game, George Luca's universe becomes a great reason to jump back into this title.
-
Grab It MagazineFeb 10, 2014Tiny Death Star doesn’t radically shake up the excellent formula of Tiny Tower. If you’re not a Star Wars buff, the shallow management experience won’t keep you interested for long. But for Star Wars aficionados, the wonderful fan service makes it a no brainer. [Issue 1, February 2014]
-
Jan 20, 2014Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is like plague selective. When it afflicts the right individual, then they are lost. Keep that in mind.
-
Nov 16, 2013As a Star Wars fan it’s no question for me that Tiny Death Star is worth playing despite the added heartache. However, I fully understand that for others, it may be closer to a toss-up as to whether it’s worth the time investment.
-
Nov 12, 2013Tiny Death Star's slow but satisfying consumer-centric twist on battlestation management lacks the excitement of the films it draws from, but makes up for it raw cuteness and loads of thoughtful fan service.
-
Apple'N'AppsNov 8, 2013Tiny Death Star is a should download as the force is strong with this one for an unrivaled Star Wars experience.
-
Nov 8, 2013Otherwise, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is a must-play if you're a Star Wars fan who enjoyed the original Tiny Tower (and if you haven't played Tiny Tower yet, say good-bye to your loved ones). Despite its familiarity, Tiny Death Star glows a strong, warm Force.
-
Nov 7, 2013Tiny Death Star is Tiny Tower but all decked out with Star Wars. The Star Wars parts are great, but those who got their fill of Tiny Tower already might not find much else new here to get hooked to again.
-
Nov 7, 2013A clever blending of two licences, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star does exactly what you'd expect it to.
-
Nov 7, 2013There's enough that's new about Tiny Death Star to make it worthy of note for even the most burned-out Tiny Tower fan, while at the same time remaining faithful to everything that made the original so horribly, horribly addictive. An accomplished remix by anyone's standards.
-
Nov 12, 2013A nice crossover between Tiny Tower and the Star Wars Universe, but with all the delights and the flaws of the first one.
-
Nov 12, 2013Star Wars: Tiny Death Star may be a retread of NimbleBit's past success, but the Star Wars theme is actually done justice here, making it a hard game to pass up.
-
Nov 22, 2013Tiny Death Star isn't as much a game as it is a collection of action figures from the Star Wars-universe for in your pocket. Although the sim-part enjoys like Tiny Tower and The Sims, Tiny Death Star doesn't add much. Checking and supplying the stores or seeing characters walk around is fun, but without added elements and purchases of up to € 89,99 the message is clear: Disney's got dollar signs in its eyes.
-
Nov 11, 2013Quotation forthcoming.
-
Nov 12, 2013It resembles nothing more than a Skinner box, eventually rewarding your endless hours of button pressing with a short, amusing skit or a familiar face from the Star Wars universe. While some will no doubt be snared by its insidious little feedback loops, we can only reiterate Ackbar’s grave warning: it’s a trap.
-
Nov 11, 2013On the surface It may look as cute as an ewok but the money-grabbing machine beneath is twisted and evil – not to mention incredibly boring.
