    I've been playing the game for a year and a half as of now.
    I love this game because I haven't spent a single penny on it, and I've seen quite a lot of good results.
    Should you give enough time of your day to this game —say 20 minutes of your day, not necessarily continuous—, you will see the results. The game is not very intuitive, however, they compensate the lack of intuitiveness by    I've been playing the game for a year and a half as of now.
    I love this game because I haven't spent a single penny on it, and I've seen quite a lot of good results.
    Should you give enough time of your day to this game —say 20 minutes of your day, not necessarily continuous—, you will see the results.
    The game is not very intuitive, however, they compensate the lack of intuitiveness by giving you precise and simple tutorials of many things. As you advance you will find out that some of the menus are never used, and you can just simply skip the anomia of not knowing where to go first; simply step on the daily objectives and that's it.

    There are no paywalls, but one. This new paywall, Jedi Knight Revan is the reason why I give the game a 9 out of 10. Revan's characters were released only around a month, maybe less, before the event came (You need specific characters to unlock him). However, I have to say that he's not the very best toon in the game, yes, he's meta, yes, he's quite good, but he's beatable and not a must if you want to succeed on the arena.

    There many new characters that have been added through the years, for instance, we finally have Old Republic ones. Also, many characters, which were totally useless before (Nightsisters, bounty hunters), are now good as they've been reworked, and those characters now mean something and are actually useful.

    The game has introduced new mechanics that make the more complex, however, those mechanics were only complex when there were recently introduced. It doesn't take reading a book to understand them.

    To conclude, I should say that this game is great as you don't get all the "endgame" content in a day or two, you've got to keep playing it, to understand how the game works and to remember that in this game, you DO have to keep progressing. It's not "flappy bird", your progress never resets —of course, unless you want to do it.    … Expand

    Great game. Turn-based strategy with fun adventures, events, and online play.

    The only issue is the premium content -expensive. They should really lower the paywall for rewarding non-F2P players. it feels like im gettin my head smashed in with a sledgehammer when I open my wallet. Having my fingers surgically removed without painkillers would probably be just as fun as opening pretty    Great game. Turn-based strategy with fun adventures, events, and online play.

    -difference- is you pick from about 150 Star Wars legendary characters, and each one has 3-5 unique attacks or special moves etc..
    --the game is RPG as you're goal is to unlock & upgrade you're characters...
    --Thanks to The Manager of GameStop in Hamden,CT for telling me to play this game.(not the 1st time this dude has been helpful! TY GameStop Manager!

    --you can buy packs with character shards in them or earn them by doing 1-3 minute long TURN BASED battles..and you get REALLY GOOD REALLY FAST....

    --the main screens layout has all the game modes you click on to enter that arena area/style..and each one has its own style..like the light side or dark side means you can only use YOURE Good guys, vice versa if you enter dark side..there's the PVP arena which isn't really you vs a LIVE person but you play against they're team with the AI controlling it(L A M E!!!) that's the biggest comp,ain't besides the Free to Play scam tactics...

    --I've been playing for two weeks and I'm addicted...but I'm sooo proud of myself for not spending real money. I've been tempted several times..I even have $15 on my iTunes at all times...but I stand by the fact that if I pay for the stuff I want= it ruins the fun of earning it or getting a jump for joy surprise lottery type win...

    -my only super unlock so far has Been Ashoka , GREEDO, and A lame Ewok Hero Teebo.
    -Teebo and Ashoka are lame,,but GREEDO is AMAZING and always in my lineup...

    --BOTTOM LINE- the game is amazing and this developer is special guys..imagine if they weren't owned by the evil empire EA...imagine instead of Free to Play= we payed $20 to play forever and the scam of temptation to spend real money is removed..wow! ThisngMe would be the best tablet game ever.. But it's not and EA does own this developer...so sad. But that's our creepy world of scam...

    --also, The most powerful legendary characters I'm patiently grinding for are

    -PALPATINE!
    -That Blue Twilek Jedi Knight from the prequels(she's owns me everytime)
    -Qui Gonn **** he is a bad2the bone tank!!

    --surprisingly missing are
    -JANGO FETT
    --WEDGE
    -BOSK(Trandoshian lizard faced bounty hunter/Wookie killer from Empire strikesBack.
    -freaking YODA (what the heck guys?? He must be future doc or something.

    ----Dissapointing character heroes in game are
    -Obi Wan Kenobi- it's old man on tatooine so he's lame and weak. BAH!
    -Anakins- (not Vader) this is episode 3 Anakin and he's mediocre. Shame on u guys!!!
    -Lando! Cmon now, Lando is everyone's favorite and he is awful..
    --Leia and Luke(ESP Leia) she is just weak. This is the daughter of Vader!!!
    --Han is Missing. He's a enemy,but only playable as storm trooper armor Han Solo..????
    -Mace Windu even all Jacked up is only average at best and I skip him everytime I see him...

    --Morgan Freeman shoulda been Mace, this way the character is force strong wizard type,,not a Jedi thug..
    --Leo Decaprio or anyone who could act shoulda been Anakin..
    -And ANYBODY shoulda been PADME.. Natalie was awful, it wasn't all Hayden..atrocious smile!!    … Expand

    Great game, whether you're a SW fan or not. Been playing since its release and never payed a cent until last week just to try out. PVP rank at 1500 before any purchases.

    It's a bit of a grind to get the characters and with the slow energy charge but the in game currency (gems) can be accumulated with either real money or by completing tasks. So as a free game it's fantastic. With    Great game, whether you're a SW fan or not. Been playing since its release and never payed a cent until last week just to try out.     The game continues to evolve and it is still the best Star Wars theme game for mobile devices! Check out the Game Changers videos on Youtube. Very nice and very competitive game. Build up your squad with characters like Boba Fett, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Unmasked Kylo Ren, Jedi Training Rey and battle other players!

    This is a really fun game, great graphics, awesome music & sound effects. I honestly cannot understand why anyone would dislike this action-filled game, unless they just don't like Star Wars. Everything is available free in game play - IF you are a REAL game player who likes to PLAY rather than rush through it as fast as you can to get to another game, which is as ridiculous as watching a video while pushing the fast-forward button. There are MANY ways to build up free in-game credits and gems to buy items you need to upgrade characters, and there is an extremely generous amount of drops from "kills". I don't understand, though, why everyone nowadays thinks they should get to download a game FOR FREE and then play it totally for free, without the game makers getting any pay for their work! Its outrageous.It used to be you had to BUY the game before you could even play it, and most on-line games then also charged a monthly fee! I recommend that you slow the hell down and enjoy the game play and stop being so jaded.
    I will admit to a couple of not-so-fun things about the game. The game offers daily events to complete, which results in prizes for events individually and for when you finish all of them. The problem is that it is impossible to get the prizes for completing all of the days events because one of the events has permadeath - once your character(s) die in that event it is permanently dead in that event, and the only way to play that event again is after you have enough NEW characters at high enough level to play it again. Like I said, I've been playing for two years, and in this event I've gotten nowhere because all my characters (in that event) are dead and there's no resurrection available. Also, purchases - if you chose to make purchases with real money - are in fact extremely expensive, on the level of being unfair. It is, in a way, like playing a game of Monopoly where someone else owns all the properties and utilities on the Boardwalk row with full hotels on every single property. But again, if you like playing for the sake of the fun of playing, you'll enjoy the slow way of progressing.    … Expand

    As someone that has been playing this game for years at this point, I felt like finaly leaving a review. I have read a couple of reviews about having to pay tons of money I order to enjoy this game, and honestly, if you do that your not playing the game correctly, this is a slow burn game, and yes you can spend money but your supposed to grind and play with a guild and work togeather, andAs someone that has been playing this game for years at this point, I felt like finaly leaving a review.     Another miss opportunity to bring a real masterpiece based on the George Lucas universe. The same flat and dull RPG adventure experience yet seen in many other games.
