This is indie done right; a title that makes the most of its limited resources to create something unique and engaging. [Issue#144, p.104]

The game has the solid framework of a serviceable stealth title, but the story and cast haven't sold me yet that this will be a tale worth telling. I'll be waiting with bated breath to see if episode two is an improvement.

This intriguing dystopian adventure is a solid stealth game with smart touch-friendly controls, but it's let down by a lack of variety and a painfully short running time.

For the time being, Exordium represents a kind of success, even if it’s tempered by the evident struggle to achieve an objective that may, in the end, prove to be a fool’s errand.

Republique was a promising Kickstarter project, and with the launch of the first episode of the finished game it remains just that: a promise.

Dodgy controls don't convince in this otherwise mediocre stealth outing. [March 2014, p.85]

If you’re interested in Republique purely as a tech demo, its smooth animations, realistic models, and excellent touch-controls would have you raving. Unfortunately, the story is so shallow and the central character is so bland that, despite a top-notch supporting cast, Republique’s narrative simply can’t carry the weight of the game.

This game has a great potential, but the controls are something i can't get into. If only they were less "one tap" and more "dual stick". I consider this game unplayable on an iphone, don't bother to buy it. Full Review »

It's a solid game, with good graphics, great voice performances, simple controls, and awesome gameplay.
I fully recommend that you play this

This huge experience is on your phone or ipad. It's crazy to think something of this level is being done on a platform that is dominated by pay to play, micro-transaction throw away games. I have heard some criticisms of this game and get the feeling that people are comparing this experience to a AAA title on a PC or Console. There is nothing like this being done right now and I fear that a spoiled public has no idea of the innovation they are seeing.

I cant believe a game with this much depth can be played on a phone, and that people are not going crazy.

Amazing art, sound, story, voice acting, and gameplay. Compare this to the other games available on your phone and you will see just how special this little game is.
