Oct 2, 2013A great mix of strategy and time management, Pocket Trains offers a lighthearted and awesome diversion for rail enthusiasts with a sweet tooth for cuteness.
-
Sep 30, 2013Overall however, I think Pocket Trains makes a lot of strides with its core gameplay, making it the sort of logistical title that I think Pocket Planes aspired to be. Suffice to say, there's really no reason not to check out Pocket Trains, and I highly recommend everyone giving it a try.

Sep 30, 2013Pocket Trains sticks close to NimbleBit’s successful Pocket Planes and Tiny Tower, but it’s not hard to understand why. This is a fun ride, and best of all, it’s free.
-
Sep 26, 2013Pocket Trains is yet another extremely satisfying simulation from NimbleBit.
-
Jan 9, 2014The concept is simple, but it works well enough to keep us playing for many hours. The in-app purchases are avoidable, and with dedication we can progress without worrying too much about them.
-
Sep 30, 2013Pocket Trains is addicting and continues to give you little things to do with your railroad company as time goes along.
-
Sep 26, 2013While it would've been nice to have some form of train control or situations to resolve, Pocket Trains is a well-polished simulation that fans of this sort of game will enjoy.
-
Oct 7, 2013A sequel usually tends to be bigger and better: however, Pocket Trains doesn't follow this rule, ending in having less depth and much more focus on IAPs if compared to the overall better Pocket Planes released last year.

Games Master UKNov 27, 2013Lovably inane. [Christmas 2013, p.89]
-
Sep 30, 2013A neat little sim, but once you get down to the bones of the matter, Pocket Trains is a little too similar to its airborne predecessor.
-
Apple'N'AppsSep 27, 2013Pocket Trains is another solid effort from Nimblebit, but they may have gone to the well one too many times. The typical charming nature isn’t there, and the result is a relatively bland experience that is rudimentary and repetitive above all else.
-
Oct 1, 2013It's a game best played in short bursts, since setting train deliveries only takes a few minutes compared to the longer wait for the trains to actually reach their destinations.
-
Oct 3, 2013With no meaningful equivalent to the communal goals and tactical layovers that gave Planes a stay of execution, once the paywall stalls your progress like leaves on the line, there’s little reason to continue. Even for those who’ve ‘supported’ NimbleBit with regular IAP donations, you suspect the Bux stop here.
