Oct 4, 2011A competent game, with some nice mechanics, a decent control scheme, and a well executed nostalgic presentation. It may be too simple and bare bones for some, but others will find themselves caught up in the dance of blasting aliens, and collecting their pixels.

Even better, though, is that Pixel Ranger on the iPhone ends up feeling more like a sequel than a simple adaptation. There's more structure, more power-ups, more modes – more of everything.
