    This game makes for some very nice screenshots but beyond that it's just a really just an uninspired Zelda clone without any of what makes Zelda good. Also don't think you're getting a full console gaming experience, this is still very much a mobile game in every sense of the word. After the intro island and first dungeon being somewhat promising the game got worse as it went on. This is to Zelda what Skylar and Plux is to Jak and Daxter. Take from that what you will. Also the technology/medieval overlap doesn't do it any favours.

    + Great graphics, especially for iOS

    - Throwaway story, characters, world
    - Garbage combat
    - VERY simple dungeons
    - Poor gameplay cues/design (this ones important)

    Standard action-adventure. Probably the best mobile Zelda clone there is with good graphic, but that doesn't say much about its quality. Especially the gameplay seems dated, the story is bland and it lacks the charme of the Zelda series. The flaws of this game are obvious if you played 'Breath of the wild' before.

    Although frequently compared to Zelda games, and indeed sharing a similar structure and pastoral charm, it unfortunately lacks Nintendo’s magic and feels plodding and workaday despite its undoubtedly lofty production values.

    Oceanhorn 2 is a stew of old ideas and nostalgia granted new life on mobile; a technical showcase though it may be, this well-intentioned love letter to all things Zelda remains overly enamoured with its biggest inspiration.

    Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm has a beautiful and interesting world to explore, but its many blemishes such as terrible puzzle design and combat or a poorly written and voiced story hold it back too much to recommend.
