    My biggest issue with the game, as I’ve said, is undoubtedly how much less clear it is with how traffic behaves than in Mini Metro, and how upgrades like the traffic light are supposed to help. I’m not ready to definitively say Mini Metro is better, though–it might just mean that Mini Motorways is a deeper game that I haven’t fully cracked yet. As it stands now, it’s still incredibly addicting and satisfying to play and very beautiful to look at and listen to. Even with the few problems I had, it’s certainly a top-tier Apple Arcade exclusive that shouldn’t be overlooked by fans of the original or newcomers to the series.

    Between city building and puzzle, Mini Motorways is an enjoyable little game that reveals itself also as a deep and challenging activity for your brain.

    Its mellow pace, peaceful sound effects, and steady built-in intensity are reminiscent of Nintendo’s formative Game & Watch titles, with Mini Motorways remaining mesmerising throughout.

    Mini Motorways is a minimalist game with lovely visuals and a low-key soundtrack. The gameplay is pressure-filled, however, and may not appeal to those who are lacking in the organization and neatness department.

    I absolutely loved Mini Metro and so I had to play the new game Mini Motorways. Just like Mini Metro it's really fun and relaxing (untilI absolutely loved Mini Metro and so I had to play the new game Mini Motorways. Just like Mini Metro it's really fun and relaxing (until traffic goes crazy). I love the art style, very simple but unique in it's own way, these games don't need insane graphics and stand out with the simple minimalistic look. I've been playing this on Mac and it looks great on a bigger screen, I only ever played Metro on my phone.

    My only concern is Motorways doesn't have that much content overall. I guess you're expected to replay the same levels and keep beating your scores. However, Metro had a lot more content, including maps and daily challenges. It doesn't seem like they're adding new content with the game being out for over a year now. The game still remains fun and I'll probably keep playing it after beating it, I just hope we see some new content in the future.    … Expand

Otherwise cool, but it’s hard to have fun when the mechanics are so fundamentally broken. Another example are the traffic lights, which rarely seem to actually help traffic flow, generally it seems better to just let the traffic figure itself out instead.
